Hey we are a couple of travel content creators from Bangalore. After using a gimbal for ~1 year we kinda gave up on it....The main reason was that heavy gimbal+camera setup was taking away spontaneity out of the whole travelling experience. By the time we switched ON the gimbal and the camera.... moments to be captured would have passed. Also, lets not forget the effort to carry the gimbal around. We have noticed that you have been using a gimbal for many years now.... Just curious... Is there a reason you prefer using it?? Did you ever think of just changing your creative style to just use static shots and get rid of the gimbal?? We would love to hear what others think as well. Very informative video btw. Good work. 😃😃😃
I have been on and off with the gimbal on different trips. If I am mostly travelling in mountains, may be hikes then I like to carry gimbal always but if I am travelling in city like I did south korea, Abu dhabi without gimbal! The reason I like to use so I can get stable shots with movements otherwise it's not possible handheld and lot of the time I am travelling with friends so it's difficult to get good shots without gimbal. It's kind of love and hate relationship with the gimbal. I hate the weight but love the shots. I am never disappointed of carrying gimbal but I got disappointed many times of not carrying it with me.
This video was amazing! I loved the way you incorporated a trip to Lonavala in the "what's in my bag" video; which you could easily have shot at your home. For everyone who wants to become a travel UA-camr like Ankit Bhatia, this is how you do it. You put in the EXTRA EFFORTS, even when they are not necessary!! :) Also, wishing everyone trying to make it as a travel UA-camr "All the best!" You can do it!! :)

Hi @AnkitBhatia Sir, One question: which one you will prefer between LowePro 450 vs Vanguard (in this video) if we talk about safety of our gadgets?? I will definitely prefer LowePro Products(even I know that is costlier compare to vanguard), Coz sorry to say but it seems like more clumsy bag from side view. #lowepro is best sturdy bag for gadgets and costlier compare to others bag available in India.

Awesome Ankit really informative… just a suggestion if any time you are visiting uk or Iceland get a better drone cause the wind is something you have never seen before. In normal days 29km/hr, we flew our mini the moment it took off from the car just 5ft off the ground we lost complete control. That’s how strong the wind is. Just fyi for your future travel.
