- We stayed two nights in the most adorable town in Sicily - Castronovo Di Sicilia! We chose this town because we didn’t want to have a long driving day between Agrigento and Terrasini, and by chance we happened to pick what ended up being our favourite place in Sicily!
Tim was out exploring some national parks in the area, so this is April’s tour of the town. We hadn’t planned to vlog while here but this town is just too cute to not share with you all 😁

We said goodbye to our jobs, sold all our belongings, and left Australia on a one-way ticket to Shanghai with just each other and our backpacks! We plan to travel the world for a year, see as much as possible, meet as many people as we can, and most importantly MAKE OUR MONEY LAST!
When we left Australia we decided to make travel vlogs to share our journey with our friends and family back home. We also love watching other travel vloggers on UA-cam, in particular Kara and Nate, The Endless Adventure, The Way Away, and Flying The Nest.

That village looks really high in the mountains 🏔
It was, the hill I went up was very steep! The mountains in Sicily are straight up, so if you can make it to the top there are some amazing views.
I loved this vlog! So peaceful there!
And not to mention there's a world class patisserie!
In all the small countries of the world there is a control of the territory by the locals. In Sicily this control is even more meticulous. The tourist can be worried but in reality has the maximum protection.
We didn't feel unsafe, we just didn't want to anniy locals and make them feel like we were being invasive. We found the Sicilians to be extremely hospitable! Even the patisserie chef kept giving us free deserts to taste!
Very cool little town. I wonder which Mafia don is hiding out there lol. Amazing to think of the thousands upon thousands of people that have walked up there over the course of history.

This very true! We LOVE travelling together and feel very lucky that we can, but every now and then it might be a good idea to spend a day doing our own thing.
