@@TheoriesofEverything Holy shit. Thank you so much. I watch all your videos! Anyway I could connect with you off youtube.. maybe on X or email? Thanks again for the comment, made my day.
This is the right path; I think our very own imagination is the interface to control gene switching. Future quest may be to understand the pareidolia of the imagination of sorts.
Good job, man. This is a pretty nice summary of what makes Levin's work so interesting. Don't worry about the negative comments - if they care to they can dig into the topic themselves. It's just a tough concept to entertain when you first hear it.
Nice to know that someone is running with Rupert Sheldrake's theory of morphic resonance (MR). Not to downgrade your guy, but Sheldrake developed the conceptual foundations for MR back in the 90s. Sheldrake posited that MR was the ordering force at all levels, but his focus was its ordering of living systems. If you love Levin's work, check out The Presence of the Past, the best overview of Sheldrake's work. Oh, and there's quite a number of Sheldrake appearances on youtube.
I don't know... I got introduced to the most important living scientist, but he just looks like yet another guy trying to mix technical terms with esotericism to sell some books... Don't get me wrong, thats legit and I like the aesthetic, but more as an appeal to wonder rather than a scientific breakthrough..... That said, I'll research more... Maybe Dr.Levin really is the goat.... who knows? (By the way, your video is awesome. Nice content ^^)
tbh he has reproducible results of morphological changes challenging the common dna consensus and is one of the inventors of synthetic lifeforms of xenobots, when it comes to biology, i do think IS the goat as in not some book seller but the common conception of scientist in popculture but real
He is very scientifically rigorous. I had the same suspicions but the more I listen to him the more I realise how open minded he is yet skeptical of simple narratives.the reason why the video seems like sketchy hypes is just how fundamental his work is
He beliefs biochemical pathways have some of form of agency. His model is inspired by the brain. I think it's a little premature to call him "Most Important Living Scientist" just for having an eccentric idea. If he/his theory helps cures cancer and defeats aging through his model, as he alludes to, then sure he is the important living scientist, otherwise I smell bull sh*t.
Great job! I'm going to be speaking with Levin again in 2025 so let me know if you have any questions. Keep up the great work.

Ask him if he believes that God - in whatever form or shape - will tolerate his messing around with His code..
@@alena-qu9vj That's the perfect question right there.
Consciousness is not intelligence. One is an experience. The other is a behavior.

Underrated
Can’t wait!
I knew his technique a long time ago, but because I am not a scientist, I can't prove it. I did finish my maps to prove what is beyond that.
Ask for an interview 😊
So crazy so cool

yea idk"the most important.." seems like a overreach. Just seems like the old stick.

How would an interconnected consciousness and intelligence disprove god? Seems like it would prove it more than anything

Levin doesn't speak about God, what you said on this last topic based on his theories is a huge extrapolation, at best.
@@geraltofrivia9424 it’s my interpretation of the implications of his research.
@maxdepthpodcast If he didn't speak explicitly about God, this is just you putting words in his mouth. Not very honest of you.
@@geraltofrivia9424 I'm not saying that he said this. It's just my interpretation of his work. Think I made that pretty clear.
