Interesting that this C220d Shifts around 4000-4400rpm. The C220d in the Video 2 years ago shifts around 4600-4700rpm. I think it‘s the Same Engine and Both are in Sport Mode
I don’t like new Mercedes idea of going on full with 4 cyl engines but this 2.0 diesel seems to be incredibly efficient! Good job Mercedes but put away that 2.0 4 cyl in the new c class amg pls…
This is not very accurate but it gives an idea, road inclination and direction of wind greatly influence the consumption. Anyway it's better than most, I know UA-camrs that only read the instant consumption from the screen and that's it.
Of course, these are not laboratory conditions, but since he always uses the same procedure, you at least get an idea and a certain degree of comparability.
Don't worry, the measurement is correct. You'll get around town with 6-7 liters/100km, and if you drive on open roads around 80-90kmh the consumption is 3.5-4.5L. My highway consumption was never over 6L, with speeds from 140-160kmh. Fantastic engine!😊
140kmh and below 5l/100 i just love it
its a lovely engine, has more than enough power for all situations and a low fuel consumption
Any common problems with this engine?
@@anonimus1325 no problems at all. This engine is used in Taxis with way over 400.000km
Lovely diesel , incredible consumption, well done Mercedes !
i bless this diesel
100km/h - 2.8l/100km WTF 🤯😁Is it even possible 👌
hybrid diesel
Measure time too short probably
Downhill
Aswome!!! Great job 👏 👍

Man kann damit trotzdem gut 200 fahren… reicht würde ich sagen
The fuel consumption🙉🙉🙉
On winter tires!
Rise of Diesel
And this is Cesear
👍 so good car!

This means that the car has a 40 liter tank. Imagine a 80 liter tank and you can get some serious range.
There might be also a 66l option, in Europe at least.
good.

If think I am going to buy this car for fuel economy
Good for productice commute work or whatever that is 😂
But only if you drive long distances
@@Sha-Ayo yes because it is an expensive car
Only 40l fuel tank? Why?
Why is the consumption in this test better than the previous tests
But those plastick cracking in at around 1:32 1:33 and before... wtf? Nobody noticed?? Its a +55k car
300 d?
Bone votier model Mercedes Benz.
Too bad that Malaysia does not get a diesel engine like that.
40 liter fuel tank?? but for few hundreds euro you will get 66liter one
Just one think...., dont like the dashboard.., seems like tablet....... ,but ok... we get use to it...., well done MERCEDES
Mercedes was smarter then Porsche or VW group to not go fully EV with some important models as Porsche goes with Macan and get hit hard with low sale
Ahh this mighthy powertrain ☠☠☠
Your fuel consumption measurement tests are unreliable. How many kilometers will you travel at a given speed? 1km? you should at least 10km

They are pretty close to reality from my experience.
