It's Time for a Royal Fashion Edition! I adore Princess Catherine's whole aesthetic. It's so elegant, feminine, and timeless. I always thought she could have great potential as a fashion designer if she hadn't married William. I'm excited to see how Princess Charlotte comes into her own fashion-wise with such an icon for a mother.
Maybe Catherine will have a second career when the children are grown.

As we all can see, after Meg left the Firm, her style bares her back and shoulders. Sometimes it seems she goes braless. She is not cut for special role as senior royal. Royal ladies don't dress that way. Meg doesn't represent regal and modesty. The King/Queen of England are also the head of church, therefore the royal ladies esp the senior royals know and like to dress elegantly reflecting their faith and love for God, as well as humbleness. They are not celebrities. They serve God and the people of England. Meg serves herself and she likes others to serve her, esp. Harry. That is her 'good boy'.😅

When my daughter married in church she knew she wanted a dress that covered her shoulders. No one ever told her that she had to she just knew it was right. Don’t have to flash everything to garner attention. In fact modest elegant dressing draws attention and admiration more than those that insist on flaunting everything, which also might draw the eye but not for the right reason. 🤔
If I remember correctly, Meghan's first garden party appearance was a fail in more ways than just the fashion. This was when she was clinging on to Harry and whining about being bored and wanting to leave. Within hearing of all the other guests.

A royal garden party isn't for the entertainment of the royals. It's a way for them to acknowledge the work of the British people. It's a 'thank you' party. MeAgain never learned that, or perhaps she felt it didn't apply to her. I'm glad Charles threw them out of the party.

Eugenia has no fashion sense when it comes to styling for her body shape. Since Beatrice married her style for her body shape has increased twofold! Plus, she is taking advice from a go to stylist.
I think Beatrice won the Husband Prize. He has style, money and that European knowledge of effortless fashion.
Beatrice has also changed her body shape considerably. In her early twenties, she was as plump an frumpy as poor Eugenie, but she took up running for a marathon, shed the pounds, and has kept them off ever since. Once she had improved her figure, everything looked better on her, and since her marriage to Edo, she has really taken off stylewise.
Eungenie stomps around like her mother.
She is mother's daughter. Eugenie doesn't waste time with fashion catalogs. She stomps around like that too.
Beatrice only became fashionable when she married her husband. Italians have seen fashion on their mothers and want their wives to imitate them.

My late brother was naturally very thin and he was teased terribly for it to a point that even on hot summer days he would wear heavy jumpers. The queen had loads of see-through umbrellas with different colours of trim. She always made sure that she could be seen, so she dressed in very bright colours, and using the big domed see-through umbrellas, it meant that even in the rain, she was visible to everyone.

Princess Catherine is very beautiful and always wears well fitted outfits. One of my daughters is her age, and is battling cancer. I feel protective of Princess Catherine because I know what she’s going through. My hopes are that Princess Catherine and my daughter will win over cancer and live a long life. It’s sad to see young people suffer. Blessings to Princess Catherine and to all who suffer with cancer. Stay strong and win the cancer battle. I am praying and pulling for them and for everyone who is suffering! Love and blessings!

Let's just all say it now, once and for all, Catherine has never worn anything that didn't look like perfection personified. A lot of work goes into putting these outfits together, but she makes it seem so effortless. It helps to be tall and slender and beautiful though, I guess.
I disagree. Oh, the heresy! But I hated her initial fashion choices, all those floaty short flimsy dresses with bows and nude wedge shoes were just awful, and didn't suit her long lean figure at all. She also used to just plonk an appropriate colour hat on top without considering the overall effect of its shape with her outfit, and too often wore her hair down, which with a frilly hat just looked messy. But she has evolved and learned intelligently, not only what suits her personal figure, but also what is appropriate for the occasion, and in the last 5 years has developed a truly elegant regal style.
@Polopony I didn't hate the short frilly numbers as much as you seem to, but I do agree they weren't her best. They struck me as very "little girl cute" which seemed at odds with her appearance and height and overall styling. They also had a tendency to blow about in the wind. The nude shoes were sort of boring and definitely didn't help in conjunction with the short skirts, but I can't fully hate them either because I believe she was trying to be thrifty by having a couple pairs of dependable shoes that matched everything. Watching her style evolve over the years as she stepped into more of a fully-involved role has been a delight, but I think pretending she never had any missteps is a disservice not only to the other women who are misstepping now but to Catherine herself as it ignores the harsh criticism she faced and her own personal blossoming and maturing.
I just wanted to say that it has been years since i heard anyone say the words "Crepe de Chine". Modern fabrics have no such beautiful ring to them. I was born in 1936, and my Mom was born in 1904. Really way back in history compared with 2024. I know very well that i should have been born in 1920 so that i could have all of those wonderful old fabrics to sew. There isnt even any nice cotton to discover now and then. No one was sewing them in the 1960's. Life in this era is not one of beauty !

As Joan Rivers always said, It does not matter WHERE you buy your clothes, it matters that YOU TAILOR your clothes to your body type. That is soooooo true....... Making the clothes FIT YOU is what's important !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And that s Meghan's problem, she never has them fitted to adjust to her figure. Many say it is because they are on loan and must not be tampered with. One of the things I cringe at with her is the way she walks. It is not an elegant confident walk, she sort of wiggles her hips and totters on her high heels. I am sure part of her clinging onto Harry is because she is likely fall.
Let's be honest; Zara's garden party look is everything with the added bonus of making me think of Mary Poppins. The look you highlighted for Camilla brings to mind classic Wedgewood pottery. As for Catherine, she is grace and elegance personified no matter what she wears. I am especially fond of the brown polka dot look though.
You're so right. Kate and Sophie look classy because they understand their body shapes and their reason for dressing. Meghain trying to look sexy instead appears trashy. Just shows throwing money does not buy class and unconsciously what's inside someone shows in the way they dress and behave.

Someone reported to Charles that TOW was complaining and saying she was bored and wanted to leave. Charles pulled Harold aside and told him to leave. He and Camilla said goodbye and Harold and TOW left, with her tryng to look "sexy" by attempting a swishing catwalk style of walking.

The photo of Catherine in the pink Alexander McQueen dress in 2019 walking with Prince William in his top hat looked like something out of a Broadway musical! THAT was my fav! Meghan was so out of her element. While if I were out of my element I would have been happy to get help, Meghan's refusal to listen to anyone has not served her well.
The Princess of Wales' Elie Saab dress is, I think, one of my all-time favorites. Gorgeous.

I’ll always and forever say that, Meghan should’ve asked the “Suits” stylist to follow her in the Uk and stay with her forever, because that person KNEW what they were doing, on Suits everything fit her and was tailored nicely, she needed that person.
Catherine, ever so elegant. My absolute favorite was the polka dot dress. The blue Elie Saab is a close second.
I will say, the duchess of Edinburg looks beautiful in the lotus flower tiara. I hope Queen Camilla loans it to her permanently.
The tiara is part of the royal collection, so is not Camilla's to loan.
@@Polopony respectfully, you are mistaken. She is the queen so she has a say in who wears which tiara/jewels. I doubt King Charles will be dictating to the ladies what to wear. QEII loaned a number of tiaras to other royal ladies. She also permanently lent the teck crescent tiara to Queen Camilla when she was the duchess of Cornwall, but she chose to not wear it. Just like the Queen Mary’s lover’s knot tiara is most likely on permanent loan to whoever is the princess of Wales. Though Queen Camilla never wore that tiara but I assume it’s for the same reason she chose not to be styled as the princess of Wales even though she was.
Im sure Megan does it on purpose. Dressing awfully. She thinks that by wearing something that doesnt fit her perfectly,people will think "oh look she doesnt care,she is so like Diana". But in reality it has the opposite effect.

It was so great to see so many of the royals looking fabulous this summer, especially Zara, Beatruce, Sophie ( a bit hit and miss), and I actually think Camilla is knocking it out of the park lately. I loved seeing Prince William's cousins turning out for him. I concur with everything you said. Beatrice and Zara were both stunning. I liked that they matched each other with the shades of pink. Eugenie struggles with her fashion choices, but I am confident that she'll eventually get it right!
Princess Catherine? I don't think that I can pick a favorite. She makes each dress appear as if it's the first time she's worn it, regardless of how many times she may have previously worn it.
Her Majesty, the late Queen Elizabeth II, and her bright colors were spectacular. I especially loved this yellow coat dress and hat. It was stunning how the coat draped open perfectly to reveal her floral-patterned dress which accentuated her hat. That was a gorgeous picture.
And, I must say that Queen Camilla has upped her game since becoming Queen. I once heard that King Charles picked out her clothes for her when she first started appearing in public with him. I think she's handling her wardrobe selections these days. Her clothes suit her, she's comfortable in them but boy, can she rock a hat! I love to wear hats and I enjoy hers.
The only thing that I can say about "The Meg" is that since they were asked to leave, at least, the guests weren't subjected to her poor attitude and poor dress choice for any length of time. I suppose we can be grateful that there aren't many pictures of her in that dress either. And, since it's the only garden party she attended, we won't have to see any more of her poor wardrobe choices. But, I have to wonder, as someone who looks for the camera at every event, you'd think that she'd realize how awful she looks, especially with the obvious undergarment blunders! It was a great video!

Meghan’s garden party outfit was one of her least egregious efforts, in my opinion. It’s boring and not super-polished but at least it’s appropriate for the occasion and doesn’t make her body look too disproportionate.

Catherine is allergic to horses. Question, has Me-Me-Megan ever been able to wear a tiara, except for her wedding? I'm surprised she hasn't had a portrait made of herself with one!

Princess Catherine, the world awaits your return. God Bless You! As for Meghan, as usual, no matter how much she pays for her dress choices, she always looks like an unmade rumpled bed. Her problem is she thinks she knows better, that's why no stylist or world class design house will dress Meghan, she never fails "to fail". Frankly, she's "unfit for polite society".
My favorite of Princess Catherine's is the sheer blue dress. That dress has always seemed magical to me. Reminds me of Princess Diana's blue ball gown. The one she's wearing in the photograph of her sleeping. I believe she was barely pregnant with Prince William.
I don’t understand Eugenie, it’s just almost constant fails with her. The only dress I ever thought looked good was her wedding dress.
I think Eugenie is uncomfortable in her own skin. Her sister is very thin, as are her contemporaries… give her a break. I’m sure being on the world’s stage & not feeling confident is SUPER difficult.

Her wedding dress was lovely, and really suited her. She did lose weight for her wedding, and it suited her, but even as she currently is, she could look so much better with different choices - it's not all about being thin, as Camilla demonstrates. It's more to do with being understatedly appropriate (Eugenie rarely gets that right) and also, perhaps, being more structured and streamlined, and letting a few beautiful details and/or gorgeous colour do the talking.
@@ericaadams2183 Beatrice used to be just as plump and frumpy as Eugenie, but she managed to change it. So presumably, Eugenie could if she wanted to, which implies she is happy enough.
I won't be original but I really love the blue Eli Saab dress, it is so delicate and refined !

That’s one where sheer is used to perfection
The sheer netting on M’s dress made the outfit look cheap. The visible seams just are terrible, and fit isn’t awkward and the sleeves look tight, and like they’re not long enough on her arms. That type of dress, with sheer yoke/sleeves, is hard to pull off anyway, without looking unkempt, and there is always a risk of veering into looking vulgar. M never gets it right, even though she keeps trying - the black “Lion King” premiere dress was the same thing.
I also particularly disliked the weirdly pale colour of her tights in that outfit - they looked the same as her sleeves. Just horrible.
Whoops, typo! I meant that the fit of her sleeves IS awkward.
I asked someone who doesn’t follow the royals, which brother was more attractive and she said that was not a fair question. Harry being at least 10 years older than William. 😆

I don't have your contact info so my comment isn't relevant to this article. PLEASE PLEASE do a post on all the times MeGain has worn bare shoulders, usually halter neck and backless. Emphasizes her short box top and inappropriate for the occasion. Last time was yesterday at Tillman Award thing. Last thing she should ever wear but she can't stop herself..
That was the second dress from her wedding. Didn’t like it then and still don’t.

Also similar to the one she wore in Nigeria. There are other examples, all unflattering.

🎉Hey Beebs❤ I just went to do an online search to make sure this “rumor” I heard was correct … Catherine, the Princess of Wales, actually told Town & Country magazine in 2009 and she is allergic to horses, and she must take antihistamines if she is going to be around them at all! I imagine if she was nursing her 3 young children she would not have wanted to take those medications as they are passed through breast milk. I look forward to seeing her at Royal Ascot in the years to come 😊

I’m curious - did you see her look for the ESPYS? I don’t understand why she consistently goes for the slicked back bunhead, which I don’t think flatters her, and either beige or white dresses that all have a similar silhouette - and lots of skin. As skinny as she’s gotten, honestly, showing less skin and fewer stick like limbs would be a better option. What did you think?
Meg can't pull off the lots of skin look. She's too angular.
She can't get anything right because she's doing for all the wrong reasons. And clear as day about it.
Why cant she get it right? Underwire bras, no tailoring, WRINKLES-MESSY as lovely Jen The Real Housewife says...BTW love you two pairing up Ms Beebs ❤. Why? A general disregard for dressing to her body type, an affinity for ginormous knots/collars, stilettos, seeking attenion with gawd awful, inappropriate clothing, muddy colors and mostly, being her own "Styeless". She shouldn't have booted her Canadian Friend JM, she was at least a little polished then.
And to be completely honest; HRH Catherine possesses a Style, Grace, and Inner Beauty, that comes naturally, it cannot be bought like so many irrelevant awards. The Pat Tillman Award was named after a true American Hero, Henry is neither of those and never will be.
Think a lot of folks just need mad meg to go on... somewhere... Catherine is always on spot....hope she gets well soon
