Facts !!!!! My all time favorite, his rhymes and the way he flows so smooth over any beat be so hard to wrap my head around. I have yet to hear one single verse he’s ever spit that was mediocre . He’s an all time great no doubt
The Awakening was no joke...should have been better promoted! IMO, it is a top 5 all time album...it was promoted as an EP I believe during its initial release hence didn't get as much recognition as it should have.
While The Awakening had it's stand out tracks it wasn't one of his best. His first album The Funky Technician was one of his best and his follow up The Return Of The Funkyman😁👍 The Funky Technician introduced AG of Showbiz and AG😁👍 The Return Of The Funkyman introduced Percee P and Big L😁👍
This jam brings back so many good memories!! All solid verses, X starts us off with some slamming vibe Large P murders it and Grand P drops one of his best verses IMO, Finesse comes in at the end with his smooth flow he had across this whole album. One of my faves. DITC
R.I.P. To Harlems Finest Big L. R.I.P. Fat Man Scoop - you never got the flowers you deserved for how you elevated the role of a Hip Hop DJ on the radio, clubs & wax.
Sadat X always sets the tone for a jam, not always the best verse but always dope. When he came with ' Punks jump up to get beat down' and all those mixtape features we knew Brand Nubian would be good without Puba. No diss at all to Puba!
Mad cameo appearances in this video: Fat Joe, Diamond D., Large Professor, Sadat X, Grand Puba, Big L, Showbiz, Special Ed, KRS-One, Lord Finesse, A.G., Evil Dee, Pete Rock
DITC, CNN, Mobb Deep, Boot Camp Click, Smif n Wessun, Finsta Bundy, Natural Elements, Children of the Corn, Screwball, Lords of the Underground, Wu-Tang Clan, Killarmy, Gravediggaz, Shabazz the Disciple the list can go on and on, 90s definitely had the best music/artist's
R.I.P. Fat Man Scoop ..He passed away yesterday on Aug 30 at the age 53.. Another hip hop legend gone too soon 🙏 🙏🙏 🙏
There's no missing Sadat X when he's in a track; that voice is iconic.
His voice is DEFINITELY iconic 🔥🔥
💯
They were all on point😁👍 Sadat X, Grand Puba, The Large Professor and the man Lord Finesse😁👍

Damn this joint is crazy. I swear I saw KRS and Camp Lo in here. Lord Finesse is an absolute animal lyrically. Easily the best producer rapper ever.
Havoc from Mobb Deep is the best producer MC
@@forcedtohaveahandle lord Finesse better than Havoc as a producer and a rapper. Every dope Mobb Deep beat I assume Alchemist made it.
Lets argue over opinions😂😂
@Valentino Adam Finesse produced this whole album
@Hip Hop Junkie can't forget DJ Alamo and I think that was Gano Grillz too

Aside from the talent, the flow, the lyrics…. can we talk about how much better the beats were back in the day like 100%
Totally. It was all sampled vinyl back then. Proper fidelity. Now it’s all digital and (most tracks) just don’t hit the same
