Cobra Commander is great at getting Ninja and Samurai, in his employ i've seen so many over the years! i must do this for my Sagat,Ryu,Akuma,Chun Li and Ken SF figures
This is SO cool! I have got to try this myself. Love the simplicity of your dioramas as well. The figures can stand out, not getting lost in a sea of details.
That is an amazing display. I've been a Joe fan for a long time and have a lot of the Ninja figures. The Retaliation line eluded me though and I have been looking for them. But you have inspired me to make a display for the ninjas I do have. Great job@
my dude I'm at a loss for words that is so amazing, I'm a 30 yr old GI Joe collector and I build GI Joe dioramas before and you took my breath away with that one, specially for your first time with g.I.Joe, I jus think it is just amazing, thank you very much for that how to 1 have to build one, I'm going to have to do that today.
Wow very kind words, thank you so much for that. Yes, I have totally been missing out on a lot of Joe action but these ninjas are my favorite figures right now lol! Hope if you make something you share it with the community!
I've been a fan of Star wars since 1977 I love it ! but what you do is beyond great !I make models for museum's and myself but your choice in material is wonderful.
very cool, nice work. You have inspired me....gonna make a bonzai tree diorama with a tree and leaves and snake eyes vs stormshadow in a classic sword fight under the tree with nice sunset in the background!
awesome bro, im wanting 2 do a new review but i cnt get interested in anythng thats been out lately, im going 2 start watching your vids again 2 great job!
I am going to get creating very soon too I think. Having a playset to show off the collection gives it that magic touch. Anyway my friend, thanks for the reply. Keep the creative juices flowing
I know this is an understatement by now, but AWESOME work my friend! I truly think this might be one of your best and one of my new favorite dioramas! I've got to say, I've been really tempted lately with those Samurai and Ninja Joes figures. Feudal Japanese history is just the best, so naturally I've been thinking about collecting picking a few of 'em up, but then I run the risk of starting to collect ANOTHER toy line (something I know my wallet can't handle) :D Anyway, once again fantastic dio, really an instant classic and one for your channel's highlight reel! MTFBWY
Ah man you always know how to make me feel good about my dio. I was very surprised to hear that this is one of your faves, I was totally not expecting much response from the star wars community. Those ninjas believe it or not were purchased at about $7 - $8 each, especially loose as a group you can find them on Ebay. Worth checking out. Thanks so much for the comment bud!
I'm glad you did a gi joe diorama because there's not a lot of em. I think you should do more, your dioramas always come out great. also your lucky you bought the figures when they came out because now they are about $20 each new.
very nice & excellent use of materials....lots of ideas to steal hehe...ive been planning japanese setting diorama for sometime, perhaps for a wolverine vs hand ninjas, but specifically for an Ogami Itto custom when I get around to putting that together. If youre interested in other similar figures, I recommend the ninja and samurai from Ages of Action, by Unimax (if you can find them)....the figures are slightly less articulated, but are authentic to their real world period counterparts.
Thanks man, haha, these ain't no new ideas, I'm sure many have done the same but WOW gotta check out some of these unimax figs man, thanks for the tip! I hope you do a kick ass one when you have time!
Mate once again you take us the viewer to another level, incredibly creative. Very versatile I think Bruce Lee would look equally at home here and the scene from Batman Begins I think would work great also. I guess that's the difference when you show the items you've used to make the diorama I see place mats and coffee stirrers you see a Dojo! lol Brilliant mate Brilliant! Liked and Faved. Cheers Dan/Fuzz.
You always know what to say Dan, thanks a lot for the awesome compliment! Honestly though I'm sure many have done a similar thing here, not that difficult I reckon. Thanks so much for watching bud!!!
This awesome work makes me think that I should hop out of the cockpit and take up swordplay... On second thought, I'll just tape a sword to my X-wing instead.
this looks great! the bamboo and all the colouring looks amazing! only thing i can picture is those white walls glowing from behind. u know how those type of walls look like that ? thats the only thing i can picture that i cant see in this! :) great job Ed!
TheBudgetJedi oh ya for sure! if the walls were that foggy see thru type of stuff you see in those places it would be better but you do a great job as it is so i woouldnt get too worried about it. but while were on it its true. u can see the ripples in the paper so if were getting like that. haha ;)
I'd like to see the Parton episode3 where the 212 login troops are coming into the battle by the lines, or the siege on the Jedi temple with the 501st troops
Great job! It's amazing how you turn low budget/leftover items and turn them into masterpieces. Can't wait to see what's next.

Thank you Hjalte! appreciate it!
Nice display. :)
Thanks man!
I had dream about a dojo and it looks the same as this one
very nice & excellent use of materials....lots of ideas to steal hehe...ive been planning japanese setting diorama for sometime, perhaps for a wolverine vs hand ninjas, but specifically for an Ogami Itto custom when I get around to putting that together.
If youre interested in other similar figures, I recommend the ninja and samurai from Ages of Action, by Unimax (if you can find them)....the figures are slightly less articulated, but are authentic to their real world period counterparts.

This awesome work makes me think that I should hop out of the cockpit and take up swordplay... On second thought, I'll just tape a sword to my X-wing instead.
hahaha thanks great comment
that ninja dojo reminds me of a stop motion
what was it called again
it was the snow mansion assault
Parabéns. Diorama lindo.
I like how you had Jinx vs Elektra considering Elodie Yung portrays both characters.
this looks great! the bamboo and all the colouring looks amazing! only thing i can picture is those white walls glowing from behind. u know how those type of walls look like that ? thats the only thing i can picture that i cant see in this! :) great job Ed!
Thanks Bobcat! I wish I could have made the walls really paper thin, then it would be so accurate indeed right? thanks so much!
Does the samurai figure have moving articulation like the gi joe figure? If so what is the name of it
are they done with the vintage collection?
