  • A traditional sight in parts of Europe for centuries, the Czech side pull draft beer faucet has just become something of a familiar sight for American beer drinkers in the past decade or so. Originally created to pour Czech pilsners, this different-looking draft faucet features a ball valve handle that you pull horizontally to pour beer from and a spout that you insert into the glass to fill it.
We teamed up with a great local bar and bottle shop here in Buffalo, The Beer Keep, to show you how to pour Czech style beer so you enjoy authentic mugs full of amazing beer!

The foam from a czech tap is much more dense and moist than what you would get from a regular tap.
If you leave the beer sit for a while, the foam will turn into liquid and top off your glass to exactly 0,5l which is the normal serving size (the glass itself is a bit bigger)
