I can't ware any of these because people will tell me what are thoes :(
Spit on they shoe then
lmao
Don't listen to people. Just tell them they're parkour shoes. xD It works for me. I'm a girl. They didn't believe me at first lol.
+TheMineCraft Jinx. exactly
Parkour is the best thing since video games
that's how I shattered my ankle 5 months ago I still can't walk right and can't get back into parkour hopefully soon I will be this video helps very much on the shoe Part
Felixs Playground Hope you can make it back man
Felixs Playground what hapenned?
Felixs Playground get well soon bro
I hope you’re doing better nowadays.
What about now? I’m guessing that it’s healed by now.
converses work well to a degree in parkour, they're kinda flexiable an have average grip but on wet surfaces they do semi well. though i have used my combat boots before an thats really fun with a little extra weight gives you more of a challenge
Best shoes are Kswiss SI 18 hands down, perfect for all types off movement!
Skateboarding shoes are surprisingly decent too if you're doing parkour in a concrete environment. Anything other than that however will give you a bit of trouble.
So i can use vans? But it hurts like a bitch when I run in them, also once I played basketball in vans, the next day my feet were killing me.
You are awesome and have been a huge help to me as a starter free runner
Thanks this helps a lot, I have been wondering about this. I am going to go shoe shopping today.
I really want some new Freerunning shoes to train in and this video helps me a lot in making my decision as to what shoe I'll get next. I currently train with the "Nike Flex 2013 Run" shoes. They're pretty good shoes with a medium profile and decent grip. Only problem is that they aren't really one solid piece of rubber. It's more like a bunch of different sections of solid flat rubber connected to each other. I want to test out a shoe that has one solid piece of rubber.
hey check these out currntly these are the APK's number one shoe and i love them cheap, best grip ive found after 60+ diff shoes, amazing build quality, and last forever, grip takes a long time to wear (about 1.3 years) ollopk.com
also good shoes are Nike free-running are anything like it $60+ $90 for free-runners. or five finger shoes which have good grip and help manipulate your actual feet so if you need to it helps adapt to being barefoot but going barefoot takes a long time to get used to since we adapted to shoes. and the freerunners are just good expensive shoes made for parkour and a lot of working out so hope this helped
Try nike freeruns of the new nike free 5.0 I just got them and they are pretty good (stylish to) but kinda expensive
Realm Vortex nah man if you know anything about parkour or freerunning you would know anthing above 20 most people try to stay away from since all shoes go through really fast ollos are good because they have amazing grip and are cheap but amazingly built
Try tiger shoes the ultimate 81
I use sketchers shoes with memory foam insoles
SAME XD
Nazi Slayer same
XD
Eric Kenny sketchers
Eric Kenny what are those!!!
You:Sketchers that are better than urs
Ok mines are jordans
You:...uh...my bad
Dude your videos are so helpful keep making them
Keep the good spirit Flowing!!
What about ollo shoes ?
Hope you washed your hands
ikr
I've heard a lot about barefoot/slightly padded training, so I am trying out Reebok Your Flex shoes right now. They are actually my favorite parkour shoe yet. I used to have extreme trouble with ankle sprains with a shoe like you described, but never with the Flexs.
Your advice is so solid! Thank you :)
One of my best parkour shoes that I use a lot and have lasted me for years are vans because they have the best grip on any shoe that I have ever seen, the only downfall is that they don't have much cushion so you feel like you are going barefoot.
Daniel Jeringan14 arent barefoot good cuz they increase strength in ur feet and if u can learn or train barefoot or close enough to barefoot with cushioned it will be easy but it does hurt a bit
I know what you mean 😂 that's why I started using airspeed.
Cushion is bad
jacksuke higashikata Exactly I don’t even wear shoes
please specify the names of the shoe
Game Addicts Check out description
You're so knowledgeable about common sense I love it!
Thanks your vids have been very helpful!!!!!!!
thx now I'm in a assassin
Is Nike Air a good shoe for parkour?
+Nicolaus Puckett Definitely not,i have a pair of Nike Air but they have a terrible grip :(
Nicolaus Puckett yee thats what i use but there not the gratest with handrails when they get worn down so be careful on those
make more videos these are really helping me learn parkour
I use Nike Free's 4.0 and they seem to work great so far! Their grip seems good, although it looks like it may wear out easy (but still, there's multiple layers of grip for it to wear on) and it's not separated into little chunks.
Ultimate 81 Tigers
sunny.jumps im getting those on christmass
Snuggles Same!!!
Bare feet is the best! Well it is for me
Bare feet?!
I like bare feet it makes me perform better. Shoes arent really for me.
Ok.
Liam Cox bare is ok with me because of comfort, control, and grip, but its not often that i find a parkour environment that is not a splinter and cut hazard
Believe it or not but the human foot is accually designed to easily free run and have control when doing so
I usually use mostly Feiyue shoes. Can't beat the feedback you get and they're excellent for balancing. However, I also use Saucony Bullet Classics as they are light, have good grip and have some padding on the heels (in case you don't land perfectly). I also love Evolv Cruizers as they provide the best grip (they're approach shoes) when I practice wall climbs and quadruped balancing (rails). Hope that helps!
ty that helps alot
To be honest, some tightly tied low top Converse shoes are my favorite. They're pretty durable (had mine for a little less than a year and still works fine) and they're light. Also gives you a decent amount of grip. Definitely my favorite when climbing man made buildings as well as trees.
I use Twinkle Toes for Parkour anyone else
converses mine are all ruber and lether
i don't plan on doing parkour but it is nice to know what kind of shoes to use
I have a pair of the Mizuno 9 spike blast 2 turf shoes, I personally feel they are great for an all around Parkour experience, they have a wide surface area, great grip, wether it be for wall running, rails, or just plain running. I have used this shoe in two Spartan races and still use the same pair when go out to Parkour. They are tough and versatile and are also thick padded around the upper half of the shoe so your foot is protected from most outer forces.
It also has kind of a thick padding near the ankles that help keep that stability needed so you don't accidentally roll your ankle when trying to do things like cutting.
I hope this helped :)
Convers all stars
Daf*q you're kiddin, you can't use those, they're loose and clumsy.
***** But, the grip on the bottom is so Great
StealaMaDrizzle89 what would you prefer? sticking to walls a little easier or twisted ankles
I prefer shoes like ollo and unitsuka tiger
Are you sure your ankles get rashy
noah atwood brought me here
targes 0 + same
Same
As I am currently just learning, I use my work boots, Bronco, by Shoes for Crews. (I spend most of my day at work, so I do some training there).
I really needed this advice
I use Twinkle Toes for Parkour any one else
I use bobs
I use flip flops
Nick D'venstine cool
oof.
does it matter if you buy women parkour shoe's but your a men
lol
it doesn't matter. you see girls wearing boys clothing, the same can go for the other way round.
you gay i think then
levi teune wear whatever you want, it's just stereotypes.
levi teune if you don’t give a fuck what people think about what you wear then sure
I use vans like the guy below. The old school classic checkered ones. They're good for rails and thin surfaces but its sort of difficult to wall run but not impossible you just need to have great momentum
Iv had some play with the vibrum minimus lately. super light, decently thin and grippy. A little expensive though. $60 depending on where you look. i would recommend them thus far. i have yet to put them through any rigorous testing though.
will j'S work
#ihavej'sbecauseimrich
not really im a little poor
No they suck HARDD!! non flexible, heavy, not grippy, etc. If you’re new, I recommend Feiyues.
I like converse and puma skater shoes. The sole is all one piece, and they have really good grip on concrete. Also, being skater shoes, they have a wide sole, which like you said helps prevent rolling your ankle.
Thank you for teaching me parcor and other stuff you the best youtuber
Reebok's reelflex work really well and my favorite parkour shoe. Something I am trying is Merell's barefoot series. They do what Feiyues do, but better and they have the support needed. The grip is insane as well, works on every surface I've tried it on
Surprisingly I found some AirWalk hitops and they're amazing for parkour, they definetly worked for me
Since the first time I saw your tutorials I've been much better at parkour I even parkoured to the top of my school! They let me just so you. Know but I've been wearing hightops since I've seen your videos and they hurt a bit when I land somewhere so when I saw this vid I felt dumb thx for all the great tips an encouragement to doing parkour Sincerely, Jeremy F Navarro
I've been using OLLO and kalenji. I messed up my ollo by washing them wrong and they just got very soft. I have the issue with the kalenji that I twisted my angle by playing basket ball because of a bad rehab of a previus injure. So im gonna get some new shoes with less expansion.
I have Nike flexrun 2013 and they work good for me, and since their light in weight and can bend very well they work out great also.
I haven't figured out what kind of shoe I like yet, because I am just starting my journey into parkour, I'm just going to start simple like learning to land lightly and definitely building more arm and leg strength
The best shoe i have and still have is the reebok smooth flex they are absolutely amazing and well worth your money they have lasted me 3 years and hopefully many more years and are perfect for rails, walls and everything really if you come across a pair, get them! Glad i could help :)
At the moment i'm using Kalenjis but i will switch eventually to Feiyue's because i'd like to train the precision jump without having to go barefoot :D
I use the new balance fresh foam zante v2 and i love it
I am 12 and I learn assassin and parkour from your videos thanks.and I usually use the shoes types which you say
I like to use the addadias thrasher's. They have great padding and a nice think hill for impact when landing. The only problem i have came across is that they are flat on the bottom, yet they have all these little rubber pieces that could easily be ripped off. So far i have had no problems with them though.
I just got Ultimate 81 Onitsuka Tigers. They have really good grip.
ive had the whole nike free run + series and each one has been great i think they are on the 3rd in the series now and other than a few rolled ankles i cant complain
I don't understand how he can be so skilled yet so humble.
i use feivue's they have amazing grip the more you use them, very light weight, but you feel everything with them.
I like dance shoes. Ones that dance teams and such use for outside dancing. It is very much like the feiyue where it's light and flexible like nothing is there, they form to your foot to keep you light on your feet and they do come with really good grips but it will not save you with you land wrong. the surface area is very small. Just doing dance in them in my years of high school colorguard I have twist my ankle about 4 times. But they do force you to learn from your mistakes and not to land like that again.
Hey Ronnie,
I've still been trying to find a good pair of parkour shoes, but they seem pretty hard to find and new ones have come out. Do you think you could do an updated video of what shoes are good to parkour in?
Always use Vans they have good grip. Are pretty thin so you feel it when you make a bad landing. And the perfect shoe to just walk around in they have become pretty popular here in the Netherlands. So more stores sell em nowadays.
Converse high tips work amazingly
Personally I like the Nike split toe ones as you get more feel through them or what i mostly use is Puma Faas 500
I use my Jordan's they have those things on the outside to reduce twisting your ankle they work perfect a lot of grip and they cover a lot of ground
My best shoes when it comes to grip are a pair of Adidas Evolutions... They are better than they look despite being quite heavy, and the padding is surprisingly effective for its medium bulk.
Ektolon racquetball court shoes are awesome for parkour. They have a really thick sole that's durable, grippy, and has a high impact rating meaning you can land hard with minimal damage to your feet, especially your heels. I've had them for over a year their's hardly any signs of wear and tear. Clean them occasionally and they will stay grippy. On La Flair Parkour's channel he made a similar shoe video and these are on them if you want a far more detailed review and description.
thanks this really helped
I like to were tight fitting vans with the thin sides because of its amazing grip and they don't were out easy
Most of the time I try to not wear shoes when I practice if I can, and I hate anything with a lot of padding. The New Balance Minimus are what I use now though, at least until I can craft my own minimal shoes or sandals.
Thanks, I just recently purchased some and I was kinda wondering because I knew I wanted to start Parkour. I don't actually have like a lot of money so a $20 pair of hi tops are worth it.
I recomment OLLO or similar for beginners and people under ankle injury rehab, because they have a small expansion and a flat, long lasting and effective grip. I recomment kalenji for skilled and expierienced people, because they're very light and has a good expansion.
Nike Air Max Commands, I've had them for about 2 years now and they haven't let me down haha, Great support and bounce
I'm a major fan of the Onitsuka Tiger Ultimate 81s. That shoe can take me anywhere I want to go!
this is awesome i love parkour shoes ad parkour
Thank you 🙏
honestlymy converse high tops and work amazingly for me alot of my friends dont like them but they work pretty well for me
You should try the Puma FAAS 300 v2. Everybody in my gym wears them and they are great.
I got the onitsuka tiger ultimate 81s the grip is AMAZING they are SUPER SUPER LIGHT but only thing about them is just like the white pair you showed they break down quicker
they made a starter crest 2 and they are really good with grip
So I'm going to go to the sports shop and buy some comfortable shoes with nice grip
Thanks man!
I have a pair of converse I think the are great mine are high tops so I don't roll my ancle there realy flexible there not cheap but there realy gripy and they don't wear away fast
I have a couple of New Balance pairs with good grip on most surfaces.
I use timberland boots for pakour and converse for doing back flips and sometimes I use the boots for freerunning aswell and the converse for parkour
I just got some parkour shoes because before I wore high tops (which was bad idea) going over a log fence and lost grip, hurt my back and sliced my arms up but I've recovered and now with some new shoes I don't fail that fence anymore.
a*
Kswiss si18 rannells. kinda pricey, but good grip, great shock resistance, and overall very stylish if style is important to you
I've used a few different types of nikes, altho its a pretty big selection to choose from, they all tend to have pretty good all around grip and the have good impact protection if thats what ur looking for
i love kd 5 because they have great traction and they have really nice ankle support
I use the Nike T-lite XI shoes, I find em really cushiony and grippy on concrete and rails
Hey video was very helpfull i use my nike pegasus 30 there all black i use them all the time p.s when i was performing the drop roll when i landed it my back hit the ground to hard and i was out of breath i was hoping you could make another video about that thank you
Ronnie I like to use my mountain equipment coop brand hiking shoes when I do Parkour because they have amazing grip and the have excellent arch support. They only have a few problems I have noticed, one being they are not cheap to buy. And another small problem is that some times they can get dirt jammed in side the small grooves on them and then my grip is reduced by 25%. Do you have any advise for me? Thanks for being such a great teacher and inspiration. Your fan, Russell Francis
i love the ariakes they have good grip for walls even better with rails the main reason is i do high jumps and when i land they automattically grip and i don't have too worry about sliding :)
I personally use the KO Gen2 waterproof edition for Parkour but I did notice one small negative detail the shoe is not very sturdy. I ordered them online and with in a week the shoes were tearing from the front side a little, having said that the shoe dose indeed have a very strong grip I myself learned the two step wall run in those shoes and I landed the move I tried the same two step wall run in other shoes as well but it didn't work out for me because I lost a lot of momentum and grip while doing the move.
***** I mean you can try them out but it might get a ruined easily from the front but other then that the grip is great and when you land when doing rolls you don't really feel the impact. Also the shoes can get fixed easily with shoe glue. The KO Gen 2 Parkour shoes also have costume paint for the shoes.

+ronniestreetstunts i would like to suggest wearing the reebok twistform. it is a great shoe
I have recently been wearing convers all-star's and found they have really good grip but I have started using them for parkour yet because of the price I would like someones advice on weather or not these would be good shoes to use
i go bare feet & it really helps to mud rain day night the only problem is they get cold very quickly at night
I think they'll be alright to free run in the best thing you can do is just try them out, the only thing that might make then awkward would be if its harder to bend your ankle because of the high top, best thing is just to try them out
I like to use vans and faded ylary they have good sprint and are flexible Witt good grip
Ya I find low top skate border shoes warm well if the rubers good enough but thates my progitive
I have these Adidas Speedcut Handball shoes which costed me 130 euros, yeah I know the price was a little bit salty but I've been using them for a year by now and still don't see any huge deoreciation marks, and they are super confortable and have a great support so definately recommended for doing parkour.
So how good would basketball-type shoes be? Mine seem like they can be "grippy" but I just want to be sure (they support your ankle in a high-top shoe sort of way) thanks!
