Today is my birthday and I'm about to buy new shoes and this video is very helpful :) I've always been a reebok guy, but I noticed how heavy those shoes are, I got used to it but testing friend's vans feels like a game changer. If I already jump far with heavy reeboks with worn out soles I'm exited to test something new
Are shoes with the super flat soles like the Strikes also the best choice in wet conditions? I would think that it would make it more slippy compared to some slight profile given how we design tires.
I haven't really trialled them in the wet too much - I think when the elements like that are against you, there isn't ever going to be a "perfect" shoe for it... your comment on tires would make me think something like the OLLO PK shoes would be good, as I know some of their model's grip uses Michelin rubber (the same on many car tires) I think, when it's wet, you have to be very aware of your technique and control - Ironically, i've found Feiyue shoes to be the best for me in wet conditions.
I recommend the K Swiss SI18 Rannell all day everyday! I don't know how available they are throughout the world though. My runner up would be the Reebok Classic Nylon, or the Reebok CL Jogger :)
I loved 3mc like very very much😂 eventhough its quite thin on the soles. I would definitely buy them again but the sad thing is i couldnt find them anymore on indian online market😢😢😢.
@@callun_contendunt here the financial status and all theyre not that high yet and also we're quite broke like we buy like 2nd copies to train on.. plus the online shopping system here is still not that great🥲🥲🥲 .
@@ahuman1325 Feiyues are great for a lot of low impact movement. They really don’t have much padding at all (I can fold the shoe in two with my hand) They’re great for helping you get great with landings, touch, and technique. They’re not for everyone, but I have a pair I throw on every so often
i haven’t used hi-tops or mid-tops, so I wouldn’t fully know. My thought with Jordan’s, especially if they’re leather, they probably won’t have much flexibility for the foot. If something goes wrong your ankle won’t have much room to move. It could also be a benefit… I know Tempest / Jesse La Flair made a high-top shoe for parkour, but I don’t know how well it worked
this video helped me a lot. I'm not like a completely noob. I do high jumping for some years and a few months ago my class was shocked that I was able to jump with low effort on high things from just standing still. no run up. I just told them I wanna jump on their tables and they did not believed me a first. that was such a cool feeling to proof them wrong I also broke my record the same day in my class. about 1,30 meters. because of skating and scootering a was used to fall damage and anything under 2 meters feels so funny to jump down. I also asked my gym teacher to build a wall just that I could jump down for like 40 minutes and I was amazed about my talent I just discovered because I didn't feel any pain in my feed at all so now Im here to find out how much shoes can make a difference. stoked for my future
There’s two! Reebok classic nylon is a bit more expensive, but is a bit more durable. The thinner, budget friendly version is the Reebok Classic Jogger :)
I may or may not be receiving a pair of the strike movements sometime in the month or two. Looking forward to trying them out .
they're brilliant shoes! throughly recommend!
Thankyou for this helpful video, I'm planning to buy OLLO Shoes!
@@manojperumarath8217 no problem! i’m glad you found it useful! i’ve never had the chance to use Ollo’s so let me know what you think of them!

Happy Birthday! Glad you found the video useful! Let me know your thoughts if you go with the Vans!
Very helpfull guide, keep up the good work👍
glad you found it useful! thanks very much!
Very useful! My Adidas Galaxies are starting to fall apart so I'll definitely consider some of these soon.
Ay thanks Zack! It’s such a shame they don’t make the Galaxies anymore. They were also a really solid shoe! What you thinking of going for ?

Complete noob here, should I go for the one you recommend the highest or second highest? How do you spell their names?

@@callun_contendunt Thank you, I will be going to a shoe store today, and ask if these are available!

Loads of my friends still use them! I’ve had a look online and we’re still able to get them here in the UK 🇬🇧

Hey would feiyues be a good option of your not looking for high impact things?

@@callun_contendunt oh great as I have been using them for a few months because they are affordable
are mid top shoes (sth like Jordan's 1 mid, for example) good for parkour and free running or are they ankle breakers

The name of the shoes?
in the thumbnail?
@@callun_contendunt Its not? All i can see in the thumbnail is 1 shoe
@@unknownun1763 no sorry! i meant did you mean the shoe that’s in the thumbnail? if so, it’s the Vans Ultra Range Rapid Weild
i may or may not have holes in the soles of my shoes so maybe its time to buy new ones
Sounds like a good idea 😅

Whats the name of the reebok shoe?
There’s two!
