The one taboo Bungie made was an objective for the player to kill humans. Aliens or Faceless cyborgs were okay.
The one exception was the corrupt NMPD but only if you complete the sidequest revealing him to be a bad guy and was fully masked like a Spartan.

Cool video. Changes I would make is editing Cortana's voice line just to "security to the bridge" and spawning marines on the first bridge kill no matter who it is and I guess playing through the rest of the level at least up to the point where there are no UNSC armed personnel. Not much can be done about the starting spawn location, I guess. Although making it the overview area from the cryosleep pod where you normally can only watch them die, making the player the killer instead would be cool. Then you see Master Chief come out of the Cryosleep Pod and at the end of the level fight him, and maybe cannot defeat him.
