@TuulaMaaria You're welcome.
I liked the video with the ball winder.
Didn't think you were going to keep it on fast for that long. Lol
This is a nice pattern for trees. I could decorate gifts with them too. These could even be a nice little gift to mail with a Christmas card. Thanks!
Yes, they can be used in many ways! 🎄😊
I love these so much--so cute! 🌲
Happy to hear, thank you!
Awesome! Thanks!
These are so sweet, and a great project when you want to make something quickly. Love the beaded version. Thanks!
Great, yes, beads go well with them!
Great little gift. Thank you😊

Glitter/sparkle/twinkle yarn would be great for these. I love the bead at the top. These will be fun to make. Thanks for sharing!!

Thank you for this super little tree - what great texture❤
Thank you! 🎄
Thank you for these cute little trees Tuula. I love them. Now to go through my stash. I don't have a tree, my cat loves them too much and destroys them 😐 but I'm thinking bunting trees along the stair rails, or somewhere.
Lovely, yes, could hang them anywhere, a friend put one in her ceiling lamp!
Cute tree decoration! I'm thinking with lighter weight yarn they'd be great gift tags and after they can be tree ornies. ❤❤❤
True, would be great for gift tags!
So beautiful, and easy to make!!😍🎄 You are a great teacher!!!💞💕 Thank you so much!!!❣️💐
Lovely, thank you so much! 🎄💚
Fun project
Hi! Very cute tree and so easy to make. I will be making for my friends at community center. Thank you for the tutorial. 💕💃🏻
Lovely, trust your friends will like them!
Happy Christmas. Beautiful trees 🌲 🎄 thanks for showing them .
Thank you, Happy Christmas to you too! 🎄😊
I can adapt this easily as a lefty based on your clear visual directions. I think I'll make some for gift tags. Maybe a holiday scrubby using the scratchy yarn, it's bulky...❤ Thank you for another useful and cute item.
That's a lovely idea, using scratchy yarn for a scrubby!
I love you show how crochet pattern swoly❤❤❤
Glad to hear!
Very nice and smart, the trees are cute, doesn’t look hard and with your video I am sure I can make some… I am glad using large hook.😀…❤️🎄
Great, hope you enjoy making some! 🎄💚
👌🎄🎁
Very pretty! Thanks for sharing!😊
Thank you!
@ You’re very welcome!
Lovely! Thank you so much! 😀
Thank you!
So sweet ! And actuaĺly easy to do and make. I really like it that you mention the different options and show what effect it has. It immediatly triggered my own creativity..
I combineren a sage color with a dark teal and a dark green with gold (was bakers twine) and I was hooked, 😊 Now I will be raiding my stash for greenish yarns, glitter and beads. I was making an other pattern for christmas trees, but they were much more effort for the same result. So thank you very much for sharing this cute, easy and beautiful versatile pattern 😊
Greetings from the Netherlands 😊
So glad to hear it is turning out to be useful to you! It definitely is very quick to do. Your colours sound pretty, enjoy making more trees 🎄🎄 Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮
Very cute i love your ideas
Glad you like them! 🎄
Very nice, always wondered how the beads were put in.
I prefer doing it that way instead of sewing them in afterwards. It is also possible to crochet the beads in one by one but then the hook needs to be small enough to go through the bead.
I'm going to suggest that you make a French knot which has two "winds" of thread around the needle. That might be more robust and thick than the one and a half square knit tied on.
I need to google what a French knot is!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
If I want to make a larger tree how many more starting chains would I need? That is, what multiple of stitches is this pattern?
You could add always 2 chains for a little bit bigger one. Like in the one I'm showing, those rows when the number of bead stitches is not an even number, you can choose which ones in the middle you decrease. Otherwise you work the same, decreasing always on every second row. So you could have 13, 15, 17 etc chains to start with.
@ thank you!!!!
