I had that soundcore before they jacked the price. It was $179 when I first got it.. now it's $268. It sounded great though.. never had reliability issues. Shook the floor. The large onn I paid the $139 for and it was also reliable but didn't have as much low end as the soundcore. Haven't owned the 110 but saw a performer using the 310 and wow.. can definitely tell why the price is almost 4x higher lol.

As far as reliability goes my soundcore rave (non plus) has been in near constant use at work for 3 years (I didn't know the plus model existed) glad I didn't hear of the + one. I'll be getting the jbl 310 soon anyway its time for an upgrade
I'm about to get a party box 310... but I have that soundcore. And it's been in my back yard for 2 years and still works perfectly so idk I'll see how the jbl holds up either way as long as it serves its purpose they are all great
Currently on the canadian Amazon site a refurbished Rave + is being sold for $119.99 (roughly $90 usd) think it's worth it at that price? Normally a new unit at best buy is being sold for $399.99 which I think is way too much but I'm curious to know what you think 🤔
The JBL’s bass is overwhelming in regards to the treble and Mids.. yeah it 160 watts compared to 120w of the rave..it’s like having a rave plus an xtreme 3 combined… so it’s gonna sound bigger.. it has bigger tweeters and is tuned differently. The bass on the sound core is more balanced though in regards to both treble and mids. The Onn is ear piercing at higher levels 80% and above. For open and overall bass power JBL, for good bass at all levels with a warm sound Rave +, but coming in last is the Onn, ear piercing at 80 +%. The JBL with the 40 watt advantage does give it an edge, even though wattages are relative compared to how they are rated and utilized. The rave + i got for $189 and now it’s going for $149.

I found the Onn. For 99$ and it sounds good for that price so I bought two just to have for cookouts and whatnot. Seems to be decent so far. Even if I end up having to keep them plugged in I feel for 99$ they are worth it. Definitely feel my Sony XP500 has much better quality than the Onn. Though. May end up giving the jbl a shot soon. More bass is always welcome 😀
You feel the sony is better quality... lol. That's not a feeling or even an opinion. It's a fact 😂 but the sony is more than double price (regular costs)
Do you think the jbl partybox 110 would hold up to condensation outside from it being a like 45 degrees out with only ipx4? Or should I buy a ipx6 or better speaker
The Onn speaker sounded pretty good to me. I think it has similarities to that JBL speaker. I think the JBL speaker is a bit clearer than the Onn speaker. I like Soundcore, but I don't think that speaker can compete with the other two. That is my opinion. The JBL speaker is crisper. If you account for the prices, I would get the Onn speaker.
The problem is the Onn has known quality issue with this speaker, get a good one then it's a great experience but get a bad one and then you're pissed off. I know I'm one of those guys who'd roll the dice, buy two Onns, and watch a few youtube teardown videos on it and maybe set it up where I can use a battery pack for it. I don't know if the resale on these are available (craigslist, fbmarketplace, etc) but it's just a battery issue it might be supercheap going used and repairing it if it's not too hard.
Will say the JBL has the best bass, it's more so smooth bass, I think the rave plus has more balanced sound and punchy bass. I do have the rave plus and I always have to have the bass up ft on with the custom eq. I got 2 rave plus for 299 CAD at Costco. If you are just getting 1 speaker, like deeper Bass, and have the money obviously get the party box 110. The ON speaker should be a red flag when you said it can't hold a charge.
Yeah, the Onn is a cheap Chinese speaker that I've read has a lot of reliability issues. Mine shows it's fully charged by the lights, but when you have it on and unplug it, the speaker shuts down within a few seconds.

JBL 110 overpriced junk. I have one of those and a little old W-king T9. If I could have returned the JBL I would have, and got the new W-King. Its over double the size and 4X the price with marginally better sound. I'm sure the new W-King would have been just as good if not better. Save your money, no were near worth the price tag.
You sound like a textbook JBL hater. 😆
Just got a onn like your's for 69$ at Walmart!
I recently got the new Onn Large Speaker 2 and it is a nice improvement over the old one for sound quality, lights and options.
Why you like jbl so much man😂
