I don't know why you're railing on Jacksonville. It just so happens the most consistent quarterback in the postseason ever, and the most consistent coach in the postseason ever, are together, and have almost 2 decades of experience in games big and small. It's not Jacksonville's fault for "building a team and not a brand" or "not playing for the long haul". There 2 most impactful positions in the NFL, coach and QB, have their respective #1's, potential GOATs, on one team. Jacksonville played incredibly for what they had. Considering NE's roster, experience, and legacy, they underperformed. Rail on them.
1. How did he rail on Jacksonville? Saying they are young, aggressive, and cocky isn't wrong, that's exactly what they are, and that's exactly why they had so many penalties. 2. Why would he rail on the winning team that's advancing to the SB for the 8th time in 16 years? That makes no sense. 3. If the Pats underperformed and the Jags played incredibly for what they had and the Pats still won, that should show how big the gap is between New England and Jacksonville.

Well, he's right, whether you like them or not. Both New England & Alabama have a system in place that almost guarantees them a run at the championship, and makes them the favorite if they do get there. Plus coaches that are arguably the best at making adjustments during & after the half. No gimmicks, just solid football.

For the most part I agree with you. What you still dont realize is that bad PI calls that go for 30+ yards hand this group the game time and time again. Im not saying they couldnt have still made those TDs but the chances are reduced. Working the system is what NE does best. High percent throws that give PI are what they do in the late half. I think the rule does need to be changed for this very reason. Give them 15 yards and a first down like in college.
Curryman3030 The PI calls were good calls and the Jags got a break with the fumble call because it wasn't a fumble. Regardless the Jags wasted the opportunity. They aren't complaining about the calls so why even bring it up. Amendola and Brady dismantled the Jags Def. The second TD pass was a high bullet that wld go through the endzone but a 5"11 guy made a great play on the Ball

2:00 Last year I remember Patriots players saying they didn't make any adjustments and just continued with their gameplan while the Falcons obviously made adjustments to be more conservative. I'm convinced that one of the reasons Belichick is so successful is that he just stomps the other team into the ground until the game is over.
The reason this jaguars defense was nothing compared to legendary ones like the 2000 Ravens and 2002 Bucs is when those guys stepped on the field with a two score lead and a chance to put the game away they shut you down regardless of who you were

Go Eagles! I will love to hear what you will say the day after Super Bowl Sunday after the Eagles' victory. I guess you were not impressed with the performance of the Eagles against the Vikings in the NFC Championship game after many experts had the Vikings as favorites and I thought that it was going to be a low scoring game because of both teams defense. I think for the experts to place the Patriots as favorites by a 6 point margin is exaggerated. The Patriots couldn't see the light of day against the Jaguars for 3 quarters until the end of the 4th quarter. I am more impressed by what the Philadelphia Eagles did to the Vikings and I would not be surprised if the Eagles stop the Patriots to end their dynasty. This comes from somebody who is not an Eagles fan.
