sharks are really underrated imo. The way people see sharks are "ultimate killing machine. Bewear! dangerous than people with guns. Aggresive beast with chain saw" And i mean its not wrong having a fear of sharks they're not golden retriever puppies either but, like dont be a hyper reactive person and having a fear to go to the beach just because some seaweed touches your foot.

Sharks are important to our ecosystem and they are beautiful and majestic creatures. They have a reason to be more scared of people then we are of them. They deserve to be protected. I would scuba dive with tiger sharks any day.

This is probably my favorite episode, and I love that all three of you are there. I'm fond of Coyote as host, but also love the rest of the crew so it's easy to adjust so long as all three are there and it helps that it's a really interesting animal that you're covering. This was fantastic!
This crossover of Jonathan's Blueworld and Brave Wilderness was freaking unexpected as I didn't think my wish would be fulfilled! This segment was beautiful, the sharks and of course, the Brave wildernes crew and Jonathan's.

Sharks roll their eyes back to protect themselves during combatting a potential predator as their eyes are very vulnerable. It’s normally a sign that a shark’s about to attack you, so coyote should’ve swam away but instead almost got bitten.

You do realize that bees, dogs, and practically almost any other animal out there is ranked higher in "dangerousness"? Most people are afraid of sharks because of movies like jaws. If there was a movie that has a man eating dog that wouldn't make every single dogs on earth monsters. Same thing for sharks. In fact sharks are afraid of humans. We will millions of them a month, and they only injure like ~5 people a year. And 90% of those are accidental. Most of the time these shark attacks happen because people panic which causes them to punch the shark. Again sharks are actually scared of us. When people punch the shark, the shark panics and tries to defend itself. If a random entity appeared at your house, you'd be scared aswell. If it started punching you for no reason, you'd try to defend yourself. Sharks are as dangerous as a dog. A dog won't bite you if you don't try to punch it. In fact, while sharks are scared of us, dogs aren't. It's pretty much safer to go into the ocean filled with sharks than go into a room of dogs that don't know you. I don't get why people are still brainwashed about sharks. There are absolutely no studies of sharks being dangerous, it's only movies that do. Being scared of sharks is like being scared of a monster in a movie you saw being under your bed. Sharks being dangerous are fairy tails, and if you believe them, then you need to do research my guy.

it's just sharks. If you didn't make them mad with some blood in the water they aren't that big a threat - not compared to what the man encountered before. Spiders with deadly toxins (for humans) certainly are more dangerous. Mosquitos kill several 100k humans per year, some jellyfish are more dangerous than sharks asf. The behaviour of sharks can be predicted in a way much better than for insects or other more simple creatures.

Feeding sharks is really ignorant! Like all predators it makes them associate humans with food. Sharks will now approach other divers looking for the food they think the divers may have. When animals attack people looking for this expected food, the animal ultimately pays with it's life.
I totally agree with you there should be no food involved and it also makes wonder how it is safer because don’t that get in a frenzy when they starting eating so how does that stop wen they are in the water ( the divers) I mean
I'm going to learn how to scuba dive this summer, I have never really been "afraid" of the ocean, but it made me nervous. But ever since I snorkeled in jamaca, I lost almost all that fear. My dad scuba dives, and he told me when he was scuba diving in Cuba, a huge hammer head just swam by. He said it was amazing. Also we looked up on the Internet about how dangerous coconuts are, and you have way more chance to be killed by a coconut than a shark.

I can do relate to this because I did it in 1998. It's true that the fear you feel beforehand evaporates when you get in the water and is replaced by fascination. The fear however returned for me when I got back to the surface and my legs were dangling in the water. I only ever did it that one time and remember it like yesterday. What a memory!

Sharks aren’t necessarily dangerous especially not the types they were with, however completely agreed they are so cool.
Tiger Sharks can actually be pretty docile and as you can see are easy to deal with but yeah cool nonetheless

I can do relate to this because I did it in 1998. It's true that the fear you feel beforehand evaporates when you get in the water and is replaced by fascination. The fear however returned for me when I got back to the surface and my legs were dangling in the water. I only ever did it that one time and remember it like yesterday. What a memory!
