- Thank you so much for WATCHing my video and I hope that you check out all my other content.
I release 3 videos per week, all watch related, including reviews, first impressions and general watch related topics.
I try very hard to diversify my content. Featuring known watch brands, microbrands, Aliexpress. Some I have purchased new, others second hand.
The majority of the watches that I feature I have purchased. I buy them to enjoy, wear, have in my collection. I then also feature them on this channel.
Being a smaller channel it is challenging to cover the cost of all the watches that I buy and partly because of this I have become an affiliate member with a number of companies including Aliexpress and Ashford.com.
If you are looking for watches from well known brands then it is worth checking out:
www.ashford.com
If you are looking for great strap options then definitely check out:
vario.sg/
and
artemstraps.com/collections/s...
As an affiliate member I may leave affiliate links in the descriptions of videos. These links will direct you to the watches that I’ve experienced, reviewed and would certainly recommend. If you choose to use those links I will earn a very small commission.
Thank you very much if you choose to use those links.
Below are affiliate links for my absolute favourite watches on Aliexpress. Each of them I have owned and had positive experiences with the stores that they are linked to.

James go away with two watches. Comes back with three watches.
Roll the video James.
So far so good. Tried on a bunch of very nice watches but did not make a purchase.
Not yet anyway 😬
Have a great time, James! That CW is stunning & looks very comfortable. The Mont Blanc really makes sense, being a GMT. It’s beautiful!
When I travel I usually take 2, my BB58 & SARB035. Most situations can be covered with these two; I could honestly probably get by with just the SARB. If I’ll be hiking or camping, I’ll bring my Garmin Instinct, too.
A couple of great watches.
I recently went to Japan to travel by Train only with a backpack. So I took my Vostok Komandirskie K-35 which was perfect as I didn't have to worry about it. And I brought back a nice Seiko open heart JDM. Have a good trip!
A great watch to go travelling with a watch.
That Montblanc is definitely a conversation starter, so there's a good reason to take it right there
A lot of people have been keen to see it.
Watch shop people.
I began travelling overseas, as in Europe & Asia in the 1990’s. All I took back then was a Lorus digital. Since then I’ve been back to Europe some 5 times. I’ll only ever wear/take a basic Casio/G-Shock. I just want to keep a low profile James. Different going to somewhere like NZ. Then I’d take a watch roll. Mind you, every trip I’ve done, I always pick up a decent piece at duty free coming home! 🤣👍🏼
Im not planning on buying anything whilst away. But you never know.
Great choices, that CW looks really slim. Have a great trip.
Thanks for WATCHing
Can’t believe your control. My missus gets the shits with me, one on my wrist & three in the travel roll. Sometimes, it’s like trying to choose between children. Can’t leave any behind, because you love them all equally.
I know how you feel. I almost took another one but settled with these two
Great pair, looks like a great vacation. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s been great so far. Currently in Queenstown
My first question when traveling is: what is the largest watch roll i have? Or can I take two?
Hahahahahaha perfect
That Montblanc is beautiful James. I understand why you wouldn't want to take it off. Have a great trip James.
It has not left my wrist so far
Have a great trip James! You’ve made some great choices in my humble opinion 😊
Thank you. I’m enjoying our trip so far. Currently in Queenstown
May you guyz be safe and stay Blessed.... and have a Fabulous time
Thank you so much.
The Montblanc is very nice looking. You'll have to increase your restaurant tips if you wear it out though!
Hahahahaha I had not thought about that
Great choices! This is always fun
Thank you
Hi james I'm really surprised that you are only talking two watches with you some people change their watches more than ones in a day. I'd Go with six and have been for a two week holiday with 8 before.i do understand the right watch for the right location though it will be good to see you do some filming outside your house in some great locations thanks John 👍
It was hard only to bring two. But I’m moving around a lot this trip and wanted to feel comfortable with them being safe.
Hey James, great review, safe and fun travels mate! The Mont Blanc is gorgeous and you should totally take it , it is there to be worn and enjoyed, wear when traveling and evening makes sense. That is one watch I now want... Cheers mate :)
Thank you. I have been wearing the Montblanc the majority of the trip so far
Perfect choice! That CW is a hidden gem.
It is an amazing watch.
Safe travels and have fun!
Thank you
I thought I was the only one who did the which watch ritual before traveling. With the Montblanc, you are obviously going to hang with the rich and famous. Looking forward to the road video. Seriously though, that Blanc is a looker, I wouldn't take it off either. Hope you and your better half have a great time. Great video, as always! P.S. Can you get me Hugh Jackman's autograph?
Hahahahahahaha. Thanks for WATCHing
Thanks for the content.
Thanks for WATCHing
Hope you have a great trip!
Thank you
Better take 2 in the case and another on wrist!
Thanks for WATCHing
I think that ward Dartmouth very well could be their best looking piece solid pickup
If it had their flag logo instead of just generic text, I would be looking to buy one myself
I really really like it.
There is a new version with the flag but it just does not speak to me like this series one.
@@WATCHingJames that’s cool. There are so many CW models I never see and I check out their website pretty regularly, where are they hiding them?
Not quite sure why you narrowed it down to just 2 watches when you have such a great collection !
It was difficult.
👍
👍
Have a great vacation guys! Does your wife take a travle watch?
Idk if you ever did but i highly reccomend for you guys to go to a romantic vacation in Fiji. Its so beautiful there and the people are so nice! :)
Thank you.
No she did not even pack one. Hahahaha.
I like Fiji. I was there sailing a few years ago.
@@WATCHingJames awesome! 😊
Love the CW . Montblanc not my cup of tea and love the travel watch roll where did you get it from ?
I actually made it myself. It was a fun project and couple of years ago.
Question James? What is the yellow thing on the shelf behind you?
It's a replica Gears of War Taxi gun I think
@@swell9178 ... I thought it might be dive related.
A robotic dog?
It’s the Lancer taxi from the video game Gears of War.
I’m not really into games or guns but I just love it as a “object” it’s cool.
Hahaaa... you Crack me 👍
Hahahahaha. Thanks for WATCHing
Rightttttt😂
Hahahahaha
Kia Ora James 🥝Great choice of dress gmt and action watch.
Lockup always, remember that other 🦘utoobr
Hahahaha. Thank you. My wife keeps correcting my pronunciation of towns. She is originally a Kiwi.
