I was initially super upset that you had her made into a trophy until you explained that she passed away. But I was relieved when you said that she was super old and passed away. I also love the fact that you spent an hour in the water with her trying to revive her. You're a true fisherman. A lot of guys would have killed that fish on purpose to get a wall mount out of it. But not you. Hats off to you, buddy.
Marshall Eriksen they have people who mount the bass to where you have a weight, length and width of the fish and a picture of the fish and you can let it go and they make a very accurate looking mounted bass
TacticalBassin me too I was like is he crazy! Why would he trophy her, but thank you for explaining and you have a new sub. Great story I fully believe you! Great story.
Marshall Eriksen if you eat the fish too I don't see anything wrong with it. I don't think I'd eat a 17 pound bass though. the walleye I mounted I ate though and the pike my dad minute mounted ate.

@@tacticalbassin that is a catch of a lifetime indeed and congrats....!!!! My question is. Who is your taxidermist....??? I just started getting into big swimbait fishing here in the south, and I want you to know I've been watching these videos for the last year since I've gotten back into fishing from when I was a a child. This year I've caught well over 5 fish that weighed more than 4 lbs. And now I'm going to commit to a big bite on swimbaits. I'm blessed to learn so much from this channel, and you're blessed to be able to do what you do so well. Thank you for sharing it with us.

A few years after this video was posted I can say this is one of the most inspirational stories I've ever heard- fish or otherwise. I've been watching you guys for a while now but just stumbled on this video. Such an inspiration and thank you for all you do!
This is the video that kicked off my recent swimbait career.... Since watching this, I've caught about 5 fish over 10lbs in only a month or two. This story is incredible, I will forever look back to this video. It's a pricey game, but it's all worth it in the end!
I'm a golfer but took up bass fishing as my plan B when my game went too far south. I feel your pain when releasing that fish...I started fishing when I was 9. I caught my first fish at 11 years old, I had no idea how to fish or tie a hook I would do like 10 over hand knots, it was a little 12 inch drum on a weightless white curly tail grub. After that I was hooked, been fishing evey Friday for 5 years now (im 17) I'll also go on random days so about 2-3 times a week, for 5 years. I worked myself up, after catching that drum I went after more, then i went after Carp then bass, channel cat and my goal was to catch a 40lb+ flathead catfish. I've caught big ones 20-25 lbs, Pb was 32lbs and the old timers would tell me that a 40lb flathead was just impossible. I was fishing a live bluegill under a bobber with my bass rod right by the boat launch in the inlet that people launch their boat before the heading to the river, I was orriginally going after bass or the odd walleye. I hooked something and it broke me off, cast their again and it didnt get hooked. On the third cast I felt it, the fish took off, I honestly thought it was gonna be my first Musky. On 10 lb braid, I fought the fish for a good 8-10 minutes untill it finally surfaced, it was a giant catfish, I was telling this guy to help me with the net. He comes over with this long metal bar that was curved and sharpened like a giant hook, he swung and hit the catfish right beneath the gills.....the fish bled. I got a quick weight, not a pound over 40, got 2 quick pictures and went back to release her, it was 36° here in Illinois. I put the fish in the water and it would just roll over. I got in the water with it and moved its tail, and did everything I could think of to revive it. Exactly an 60 minutes passed.....still nothing....I felt so sick to my stomach.... I felt guilt, anger, I wanted to throw up. I left the fish their and I just sat and stared at it for a solid 20 minutes. When I approached it again...it was still dead, body had gone stiff so I took it home. I Got 5 flathead catfish last year and none of them died and how come my biggest, my personal best dyed? I don't know.... I only wish that guy wasn't there I mean I might have lost the fish if I tried to land it by myself...but it would of still been alive.
Ugh, I feel you brother. The giants are the old grandparents and sometimes they just can't take the battle. Its such a bummer but it happened, nothing you can do now. Learn from it and make sure that guy doesn't gaff the next one!!
Came here to watch a video on a huge bass, not only did we get a great fishing story, we got a story about how to keep learning, confidence, and true perseverance in this sport! Thanks for at least making an attempt to release her back. Awesome!
I'm really impressed by your constant respect for the fish, I'm a catch and release guy myself, Iv been watching your videos for the last couple of years and I was not aware that you had landed a 17 lb largemouth bass. Even though she didn't survive, you did everything you could, and even though she died, this video brings honor to both you and her.
I am currently using an old 12' aluminum boat w a trolling motor hooking into some nice fish but hoping to be like you some day Matt. I watch a ton of your videos and look up to you. Incredible and inspiring video. Thanks for all your hard work and all you give back to the sport of fishing and your followers.
I remember the Pic of you that was on the old pay booth out there. I will honestly say that picture was what made me pursue big bass. Awesome story Matt!! You're gonna get a bigger one soon!
Matt, I'm so glad I watched this video. It speaks to everybody. Whether it's about how level headed you are or how you shouldn't give up when fishing. This is a story that when you are 80 years old will be just as good. I was hanging on every word when you told it. That's a once in lifetime event, and you landed the fish. Good job!
the allegory is moral and spiritual, the Benighted Stripling harvesting and maturing his sometimes brutal passion that is Divinely by design and destined to be! God bless you my Brother and thanks for sharing
Amazing! Mind Boggling even. 3 years of persistent effort with dismal results and then BAM - a phenomenal result. You earned it Matt . Keep the great videos coming. Looking forward to Tim's story.
my biggest bass was 8lbs I was trying to snag shad and was reeling one in cause I snagged one and then out of no where my line takes off I thought it was a striper but instead it was a fat ugly spotted bass. fishing the delta trying to catch stripers. I threw that spotted bass back... in to my live well. Great story bro!
This is an amazing story. And the fact you were so heart broken by her passing just shows love of the sport and the breed. Good to see people that actually believe in catch and release. Youre a good man. Ill NEVER get to fish Cali, but ive heard nothing but good things about California Fisheries.
That is the most amazing fish story I've ever heard. You guys make the best fishing videos on UA-cam. I am so grateful to have your videos as a resource. Keep it up!
I’m a new subscriber and I just want to say I really love your channel. You guys are awesome and humble. I just got back into the hobby after a 12 year break and I’m totally addicted. St. Louis, Mo. thanks again 👍
Where is the Video of the fish ? I see the plastic made model but now actual video of a catch and a release or putting a fish on a scale ? If there is another video let me know please, but Any bass over 10lb is a monster 😈
I wish there was! Unfortunately she was caught a full 10 years before GoPro's were around. :-) There are plenty of photos on scale and of the fish but no video on my little tin boat back then. Heck, the pictures were taken on a wind up disposable camera! Hahaha. If you watch the video through to the end you'll hear the most insane story you've ever heard though. In case you missed it, she was caught by hand. ;-)
TacticalBassin just because you replied back I hope you go and catch a 20lber next time your out fishing for bass. Good luck 👍🏻 next time record with your phone please since GOD gave us those
I’ve only ever fished with a medium rod and it wasn’t until I started watching yours and other channels did I realize how little of a rod I had compared to some of the baits I was throwing. Thanks for sharing and all of your tips! It’s changed the way I fish!!
What an unbelievable story. Emotional story. I can understand the connection that you have with that fish. Fishing is such an epic sport. Thanks for sharing Matt.
lol! my GOSH IS THAT THING MAAAAASSSSIIIIIIVVVE! My pb is 6/12. caught in tennissee. i was fishing the junior bassmaster national. btw my real name is not gary bobson.
Thanks for sharing the story Matt! I grew up fishing Lake Berryessa and learned everything I know from you guys. I once lost what would be my only double digit on the California Delta, and your story brought those good memories from Northern California back. I now live in Northern Louisiana and regularly fish Caddo Lake in pursuit of a double digit that I can hopefully land and safely release this next time.
Maybe she dies because he had her out of the water so long and he said he weighed her a few different times and he felt comfortable at 17.2 that tells me he was messing around too much with this fish.
Sal G No need in assuming. I could take 50 pictures and weigh a fish 10 times i'n less then a minute. If the fish died it died. That happens its part of fishing. The fact that he went through all the trouble to try and release her shows how much he cared. That's what matters. Nobody cares that the 22 pound world record caught in the 30s was taken home and ate for super for 3 days.
This is the best story I've heard man. What a incredible day for you. Have got to mention too how great of a person you are spending that much time to revive... good man. Hope to see you around Clearlake in the coming months, my dad lives up that way, I'll say hi if we see you.
Matt, you have always been one of a handful of guys that do this that I have a tremendous amount of respect for. That story was truly amazing. Not that you need me to tell you but you couldn't be more right about the domino effect. I went two years with the Hudd before I even seen a Largemouth follow it and I was so stoked. The next week I caught my first Hudd Largemouth that went 6 lbs. 9 oz, which is a trophy class fish in my area. That opened the floodgates. Thank you for being a genuinely insightful and helpful resource for all these years.
Matt!!!!! That was hands down the craziest bass fishing story I have ever heard. It is one of those things that would never happen again in a lifetime of fishing. It will be one of those stories when your children have children, they will tell them that their grandpa has a story....Thanks for sharing Matt and as always keep up the good work and the quest for giants!
That's an awesome story! I gave up fishing 2 years ago after giving up on swimbaits. After seeing this video I ordered a Huddleston. I used to use BBZ-1 8 inch. I caught a few 3 years ago .
I just can’t believe you threw a swimbait for 3 years before you actually got a fish on one. I threw a swimbait for 2 years before i ever caught a fish on one and now i catch swimbait fish all the time.
What an incredible story ! Mistakes you were talking about makes the great fisherman you are today ! Your’re videos and advices are awsome. Wish you all the success you deserve.
I have shown off this video to all my friends, and i have watched it my self many times. I love the story. They sure don't grow them like this in Maine. Tight lines guys. Woooooooo!
Cool video Matt, that's what's so special about what you guys do, even with all of knowledge taken from TB videos, anglers still have a lot of challenges ahead of them...but you guys have saved a lot people a lot of time, headaches, and money...very respectful, and appreciative of what you guys are doing...Thanks!
Wow!!! That is an amazing story!!!! I wish I would have seen this before!!! I am truly glad you guys put together tactical!! I find myself watching the content more and more often and has made me more confident!!! Thank you !
You and Tim have some of the best fishing videos ever & I thank you for all the hard work and dedication you put into making your videos top notch. Ive learned so much from you guys its surreal. All I have to say about your PB story is---this is what life is all about, moments & memories like yours you will never forget and inspiring others like me. EPIC
Awesome story, I was glued to my screen listening. Bitter sweat ending. But your fish lived a true "Bass Life". I enjoy watching your channel, learning a lot. Congrats on your PB, and keep up the good work.
Oh my God, what a great story!! Been following your channel for...2? yrs and these stories are the first time I have heard them. Best vids! So much better than another "buy this" recommendation vid.
This story is almost unfathomable my friend! 🎣🙃 One of the greatest story's every told! This will be listed as the greatest trophy bass catch of all time! Thank you for sharing this remarkable catch of a lifetime!
Awesome vid! I just got back into fishing after 15yrs. I started to use lure baits from watching UA-cam for the first time because I always used live baits. I finally got my first Largemouth Bass last weekend! That was a moment I will never forget because of the frustration of not catching any fishes using lure baits for 3-4 weekends. Also, I did catch a catfish, drum fish and a small bass. It was an awesome day and I got in all on camera so I can show it to my dad and wife for proof haha.
Such an awesome story. I could just play that in my mind, as though I witnessed it, because you are so eloquent with your words. I could listen to you all day long...
Matt - hands down, the best fishing story I've ever heard. What an incredible set of circumstances. I think we've all experienced elements of this story, so I was on the edge of my seat the entire video. I too need to get that "first" cherry-popping SB bite. You'll be one of theirs people I contact, since you were the inspiration to start throwing Huds ;)
Caught my first 5 lber today and the reaction baits thing is starting to finally click in my brain. I thought it was a double digit when I got it to the bank and then I weighed it and then I had the jawdropping moment because they get tremendously bigger. This is really eye opening stuff and I gotta give credit to y'all for all the hard work !
Hell of a story! It’s crazy how the big ones freak out when they see the boat. My pb is 9 and it did the exact same thing. I’m glad you got the skin mount.
The way you describe those 3yrs of no bites is where I am currently. I Knew I'd catch all these fish lake fishing and bought a camera, but little success. Pond fishing restores my faith fortunately.
Today, after watching Tim’s video of fishing frogs, prelude I worked a 12 hr.nightshift, when I watched the video, woke up about 2 pm, though I was going to try the technique, tied on a frog, walked out to my pond just to practice the technique. Within 5 min.i had caught 4 bass, they were slamming this booya frog.. had fished before without any luck..but the personal coaching gave me confidence...thanks so much
dude that is an epic story of the luckiest day of your life. as soon as you said you caught up with that line and started pulling that lure in by hand I said "ohhhhh shit!" out loud! I can only imagine the amount of adrenaline pumping in your veins fighting that thing by hand.
I know I'm late to the party, but... This story gave me goosebumps!! I hope to get a big girl one day but I'm still trying to catch my first bass. Just started bass fishing in October 2018. Love the channel!!
Amazing story. I would be heart broken if I caught her and she passed away. My biggest is 10 3/4 on a chatterbait. Now I'm throwing big swimbaits. Your channel has helped me so much. Thank you for taking the time to shear you knowledge with us. Ronnie. Texas.
Exactly what I needed to hear this morning. Just getting into swimbait fishing this fall/winter and it can be a grind sometimes. Gonna go out and throw my S-Wavers, Magdrafts and Hudd’s now.
I really like what you said about confidence. I've been watching your and Gene Jensens videos almost none stop for about 5 months now, and my fishing is super inconsistent, even though I'm going about every day for a couple of hours. I hope to finally one day just have that "lightbulb" and figure it out. It's great fun to learn and that's the best part, but I really wish things could get a little more consistent for me.
Crazy catch, my PB is only a 9.7 but it was almost identical conditions. Long story short, pre spawn in NC, throwing a square bill (shad pattern) got hung up and snapped the line, got it loose and hand pulled it and got crushed. Still got the scars from years ago. That's why we fish man. Love your channel, keep it up.
This video helped me so much this past week. I was using a glide bait and I let it sink a little bit. I was giving the s action and I felt a tiny tap, set the hook, and lost a true giant(for me). Even thought I lost it, it was an awesome experience. I did end up catching a five at the end of the day and that's my most memorable fish so far!
great story Matt. got my possible pb this year 7 4oz iñ Massachusetts, 10 lbs less than yours unbelievable, I did catch a 2 lber today Oct 28 on a fat Swing Impact . Not a big deal Matt but it snowed twice and the waters in the fortys,so I was stoked on that, Next year I'll be throwing Huddlestons exclusively, Thanks for all your input, you to Tim.That was amazing spot!!
At least you got her in, Ive lost a few giants in my life time and they often haunt me. Love this story, cause youve got proof to back it, a lot of times people will not believe you, awesome fish
Dude that's a tear jerker for real..for tell awesome story....contrasts and condolences...all in one about summs it up. Thanks for tactical I've learned a ton from you guys since I came across your videos the year you qualified for the bbwc you got me by a 1/4 oz I think...I did make it the following year. That's a story in it self...anyway that's kind of how I found tactical and I'ma fan, a follower etc.. Have a good one awesome story..Well told
Matt that's a fish story I'll never forget. Props for trying to release her to live another day. What a warrior of a fish. If I ever get lucky enough to catch a double digit I'd do the same thing after a 100 pictures of course. Lol Always love your vids. Thanks for your good info on fishing. Keep them coming.
Matt first and foremost I wanted to say Thank you to you and Tim. This video and the story were so cool to hear and watch. I appreciate you guys sharing your wealth of knowledge freely to all of us. You guys get it! I know God has bigger things in store for you guys, keep up the good work.
I’ve only gotten a few bass on swim baits but I’ve got crappie ones until my orders get here but the confidence thing is spot on I had none with a hollow body frog but after learning how to walk it properly and really learning about the technique and some help from you guys I’m super confident with hollow body frogs now have caught my pb 2x this year caught more frog fish this year than I’ve caught any fish my entire life it must be in the hundreds this summer because of confidence

Dude that is a CRAZY story!!!! I'm over here catching 6's and 7's and thinking that they are beasts and you are hand lining a 17 lb'er!!! Subscribed!
Ha! Thank you Bro! We both appreciate the subscription and don't doubt yourself... you're still catching beasts!!

Awesome story, I dream of a double digit bass.
OEFbandit510 CIB - Is this a male or female bass? Because if it's a male, that would be weird.
Hopefully I can get a double digits walleye
50-60 double digit fish... that's incredible
Thank you Carson! I poured my whole life into it for years! If you want to see them check this out... www.tacticalbassin.com/over-10-lbs/
Man those pictures are amazing, gave me goosebumps haha cant wait till i get my DD my PB now is 7 and a quarter

Great story Matt!
I want to hear your PB story Nick since your the one that got me into bass fishing!
Been watching you catch giants for years ever since I subbed to you.

Pisith Mankhong it's pretty anti-climactic compared to Matts story 😂

Awesome!
Damn I think I would've cried if she died ..
You and me both brother. It was painful!
Definitely would've cried.
Me too
I'm really impressed by your constant respect for the fish, I'm a catch and release guy myself, Iv been watching your videos for the last couple of years and I was not aware that you had landed a 17 lb largemouth bass. Even though she didn't survive, you did everything you could, and even though she died, this video brings honor to both you and her.
I handlined the fish in, but a 7 foot medium rod just wouldn't be able to handle it
Zack Thinking Same Thing
People hand line massive groupers that shit bigger than this bass, so yes, it can be done.
you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about...
I am currently using an old 12' aluminum boat w a trolling motor hooking into some nice fish but hoping to be like you some day Matt. I watch a ton of your videos and look up to you. Incredible and inspiring video. Thanks for all your hard work and all you give back to the sport of fishing and your followers.
a fish of a lifetime, awesome story matt!
Thank you!
I remember the Pic of you that was on the old pay booth out there. I will honestly say that picture was what made me pursue big bass. Awesome story Matt!! You're gonna get a bigger one soon!
That's so awesome man! Thanks for letting me know!
I just liked and subscribed because of this story. Thanks for sharing !
Thank you Tony!
Same
Thank you Trouble Maker
Matt, I'm so glad I watched this video. It speaks to everybody. Whether it's about how level headed you are or how you shouldn't give up when fishing. This is a story that when you are 80 years old will be just as good. I was hanging on every word when you told it. That's a once in lifetime event, and you landed the fish. Good job!
Thank you so much!
the allegory is moral and spiritual, the Benighted Stripling harvesting and maturing his sometimes brutal passion that is Divinely by design and destined to be!
God bless you my Brother and
thanks for sharing
Thank you Edwardo!!
Amazing! Mind Boggling even. 3 years of persistent effort with dismal results and then BAM - a phenomenal result. You earned it Matt . Keep the great videos coming. Looking forward to Tim's story.
Thank you!!!
my biggest bass was 8lbs I was trying to snag shad and was reeling one in cause I snagged one and then out of no where my line takes off I thought it was a striper but instead it was a fat ugly spotted bass. fishing the delta trying to catch stripers. I threw that spotted bass back... in to my live well. Great story bro!
Wyatt Pultz y would u keep it
This is an amazing story. And the fact you were so heart broken by her passing just shows love of the sport and the breed. Good to see people that actually believe in catch and release. Youre a good man. Ill NEVER get to fish Cali, but ive heard nothing but good things about California Fisheries.
because of you i use 20 pound test
I use 20 on some of my rods, but it's really hard to get the knot sinched down all the way
Xander Phipps Use a San diego jam
That is the most amazing fish story I've ever heard. You guys make the best fishing videos on UA-cam. I am so grateful to have your videos as a resource. Keep it up!
Thank you!!
What a story holly hell thats sweet man
Haha thank you!
Good luck 👍🏻 next time record with your phone please since GOD gave us those
Hahaha Will do. Thanks Brother!
I’ve only ever fished with a medium rod and it wasn’t until I started watching yours and other channels did I realize how little of a rod I had compared to some of the baits I was throwing. Thanks for sharing and all of your tips! It’s changed the way I fish!!
Another 50 or 60 DDs no biggie
Lol... sorry man, didn't mean it like that :-p
TacticalBassin still looking for that first one :|
It will come brother! As you heard, it took me YEARS to get that first one. Its like a domino effect after the first on falls. :-)
Haha just caught my biggest bass at a pond yesterday 6.1
What an unbelievable story. Emotional story. I can understand the connection that you have with that fish. Fishing is such an epic sport. Thanks for sharing Matt.
I rather see the video instead
Sorry bud, wish we had it! She was caught years before gopro existed. The photos were taken on a wind up disposable camera hahaha
lol! my GOSH IS THAT THING MAAAAASSSSIIIIIIVVVE!
Caddo definitely has them, your turn will come! Keep going 👍🏼
Thanks so much! Feel free to stop me any time
dink
Matt, you have always been one of a handful of guys that do this that I have a tremendous amount of respect for. That story was truly amazing.
Not that you need me to tell you but you couldn't be more right about the domino effect. I went two years with the Hudd before I even seen a Largemouth follow it and I was so stoked. The next week I caught my first Hudd Largemouth that went 6 lbs. 9 oz, which is a trophy class fish in my area. That opened the floodgates.
Thank you for being a genuinely insightful and helpful resource for all these years.
Thank you Brother! Tim and I are both just happy to give back to the fishing community. Congrats on sticking with the big bait and making it happen!!!
You're absolutely right Ted, once in a lifetime!! Thanks for watching and weighing in, I really appreciate it!
What an amazing story, thanks for sharing this, can't believe I've been watching you guys for a year and haven't seen this one before!
That's an awesome story! I gave up fishing 2 years ago after giving up on swimbaits. After seeing this video I ordered a Huddleston. I used to use BBZ-1 8 inch. I caught a few 3 years ago .
Just wow man. What an amazing story. The love and appreciation you have for this sport is amazing
Thank you Chris!
Thank you Matt!!
EPIC
Thanks so much Adam! We appreciate the support and we're happy to do it!
Dont know why people give this a thumbs down. A personal story and helps newbies like me. Nice to know you did not give up...
Thanks Mark!
TacticalBassin thank you for sharing
Your channel is becoming one of my favorites. You are just one positive dude, with great advice and a rad pony tail ^_^
Ha! Thanks Jerry!
Truly a legendary story, I was sitting on the edge of my chair trying to figure out in what way you caught half way through!
Thank you so much! I'm awaiting that message, its definitely going to happen for you!
WOW that's an unreal story. You sir are extremely blessed....
Today, after watching Tim’s video of fishing frogs, prelude I worked a 12 hr.nightshift, when I watched the video, woke up about 2 pm, though I was going to try the technique, tied on a frog, walked out to my pond just to practice the technique. Within 5 min.i had caught 4 bass, they were slamming this booya frog.. had fished before without any luck..but the personal coaching gave me confidence...thanks so much
All your work paid off dude!! With all the work you put in that fish was destined to get in your boat!! Nice one man!! She’s a beauty!!
dude that is an epic story of the luckiest day of your life. as soon as you said you caught up with that line and started pulling that lure in by hand I said "ohhhhh shit!" out loud! I can only imagine the amount of adrenaline pumping in your veins fighting that thing by hand.
Hahaha yeah man, it was completely out of control!!!
I know I'm late to the party, but... This story gave me goosebumps!! I hope to get a big girl one day but I'm still trying to catch my first bass. Just started bass fishing in October 2018. Love the channel!!
Story just came up on my stream , and I usually don't keep watch videos like this but I'm glad I did . True bass fishing at its finest !
Thank you Eric!! Really appreciate you letting us know. :-)
Matt when your telling this story all I picture in my mind it complete and utter chaos. Nice bass!
That is the greatest fishing story Ive ever heard! Awesome video and story!
Amazing story. I would be heart broken if I caught her and she passed away. My biggest is 10 3/4 on a chatterbait. Now I'm throwing big swimbaits. Your channel has helped me so much. Thank you for taking the time to shear you knowledge with us. Ronnie. Texas.
Thanks Ronnie! It was heartbreaking but looking back now, it was all worth it.
That's awesome Robert!! I knew if enough people watched this another handliner would show up :-)
This is such a great story!
This really is every fishermen's dream, maybe not the dying part but this bass is so beautiful and the story is legendary.
I've watched this 3 times in a couple months. That fish is your best friend. Awesome story.Inspiring !!!
Thank you so much! Congrats on the PB... there are more in the future!
Wow. What an amazing story! I was expecting something crazy but this is as crazy as it gets! That's awesome Matt!
Hahaha, thanks bro!
At least you got her in, Ive lost a few giants in my life time and they often haunt me. Love this story, cause youve got proof to back it, a lot of times people will not believe you, awesome fish
Oh I've lost my fair share too! It never stops burning but that's the motiviation to keep going. :-)
You are a remarkable human being. Saying you wished you had not caught her was very touching
Thank you Kurt, I really appreciate you taking the time to share that.
I hope you do more of these stories, not just your PB's. I'm sure you both have tons of unique stories about giant fish.
These stories both went so well I think we probably will. Thanks for watching and giving us this great feedback. Much appreciated!
Best fishing story ever. You couldn't make this up. Well deserved after three years of persistence.
You will never hear a more amazing story about a fish ever. Amazing, keep up what you do .
Thanks so much Gary!
Matt first and foremost I wanted to say Thank you to you and Tim. This video and the story were so cool to hear and watch. I appreciate you guys sharing your wealth of knowledge freely to all of us. You guys get it! I know God has bigger things in store for you guys, keep up the good work.
Thank you so much, we're so happy to do it! We're so excited to see what God has in store for the future. :-)
TacticalBassin 👍
I’ve only gotten a few bass on swim baits but I’ve got crappie ones until my orders get here but the confidence thing is spot on I had none with a hollow body frog but after learning how to walk it properly and really learning about the technique and some help from you guys I’m super confident with hollow body frogs now have caught my pb 2x this year caught more frog fish this year than I’ve caught any fish my entire life it must be in the hundreds this summer because of confidence
