Pete that conversation with that man was probably the highlight of his day man. You made that man happy. He got to relive memories he may someday forget and for a brief moment he was able to smile remembering all those good times he had at the games. A lot of our senior citizens LOVE to tell stories. I miss hearing the ones from my grandpa. He had so many tales (true and tall ones). Thank you Pete for making that man's day!
I used to work at a pawn shop, and I have to say hearing the stories of customers and how they acquired these items was what kept me waking up every morning full of anticipation and energy. I love a good story. Another great video, Pete.
9:45 Loved hearing that conversation about the Bulls! You should include more such conversations with the customers when something interesting like that comes up! Thanks Pete
Thanks! Pete please allow me to take that telescope off your hands. My grandson bday is 3/29. He has been wanting one for years. He will be nine. I love your channel ❤.
The two older gentlemen that came into the shop in this video had their day MADE just by talking to you Peter. The first gentleman with the shirt, on leaving he said "I just wanted to see you" and was more happy with the conversation than the sale. The second gentleman really enjoyed talking about the games. Just shows that real world stores like yours are essential to a community.
Pete, have you ever thought about having a website for the store with some sort of an online inventory of sorts so that people that watch your channel can possibly pick some things up that are not necessarily worth sticking on eBay that people still might want? Thanks again for sending me the white snake album. I love it.
The cost to advertise, SEO help, ranking & social media management isn't worth walking away from million's of people / possible buyer's to save 12% or so And posting on both cost twice as much in paying employees to list on website after posting on ebay on top of everything else...
Man...I was born in '86. I'm from Boston, but I grew up the BIGGEST MJ fan. I watched every game from the 96 and 97 season. It's kinda cool that you've become one of my favorite channels and you're always talking about the time period of NBA that brings back the best memories for me. I'd love to come over to Il and see your store and meet the gang. Keep it up, Pete!
It seems you have sellers of the "older generation" calling in to sell, they are usually very vulnerable but, lucky, they are meeting you Pete, honest and fair. Good luck Pete
Pretty sure the "power supply " you were talking about is just an optional add on fan box you could mount on the back corner of the computer case. You would take the original power cord and plug it into the fan box and then there was a short jumper cord that went from the fan box to the computer.
I'm 46, and when the bears and colts played in the Superbowl we drove from Danville to Chicago to hangout at bars and watch the game. This conversation about bears football is breaking my heart a little as I'm one of no more than two of the four that's still alive from the trip. My best friend Bill died in 2011 at age 31, then Eli died in 2017... he was 43 maybe?I haven't seen the other guy in awhile, but it's hard losing friends that young, not that these guys were the first friends that I have lost. Just brings back memories
It's awesome to hear people share stories and being fair and was okay for $150. Expect for the guy who didn't want the telescope. Maybe it was old but cool vintage telescope. Keep the video going.
Stumbled on this channel and I love it. I find a lot of stuff and it kinda teaching me what else to keep a eye open for other things. Of course what sells/moves depends on the area you live or sell in.
Idk why but I love just listening to these videos while at work and been falling asleep listening to the stories, not because boring but interesting even without watching. Thanks Pete keep up the videos 🤙
Bulls guy reminds of this quote, “So, I tied an onion to my belt which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel. And in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. 'Give me five bees for a quarter,' you'd say.”
Very nice airsoft kit. That kriss vector should bring a lot. If you get the chance find out what some of the internals are that can also raise the price a bit. But all in all should sell those pretty fast.
Peter, Honey is going to start charging you treats for her cat hairs she puts on the clothes you leave out on the counter.... DA Bears!!! With Honey Hairs!!!! LOL
it was a lot tougher to be a reseller= pawnbroker, before the internet, imagine the knowledge the old style guys had to hsve. love your show and your pets.
You could get a picture of MJ and Kobe from that first game and frame it with the ticket that has the crease. That would make a awesome showcase piece for any Bulls or Kobe fan. Love your channel/shop , thanks for all the content, be well.
Pete please allow me to take that telescope off your hands. My grandson bday is 3/29. He has been asking for one. They so expensive. I love your channel ❤.
That’s wild when you was talking about the tickets y’all got for about twice a year, I am from Tennessee and this girl worked at a factory that bought season tickets for the Predators in Nashville, And she would get them like you said once or twice a year,.And she gave us the four tickets and they were just like you said,We were in the exact center a little way up but they were really good seats to see every thing, And it was the first hockey game I had ever seen but I loved it, I just thought it was wild that your tickets were about in the same seats as the ones we had from a factory in Smithville Tennessee!
Idk, but old comments said fired for stealing, many ways of stealing. Only reason I would believe is if she left on good terms Pete would have told the viewers.
That's a 2e~ I still have mine and the wife's 2c. I think the 2e just uses a std C13 power cable like most PCs with the power supply inside the case. The monitor might not turn on until it senses a video signal but that monitor does look dead and actually looks like a 2c monitor. Love your videos!
Pete I asked these two questions before, I would like a answer please, where’s Vickie and how valuable two tickets of Elvis Presley comeing to his concert in Lexington ,which he died the day before
I still have my Atari 800 which bought brand new back in the day. Currently they are selling for around $200 dollars if it's in working order. If it don't work OR untested they are going for around $60 dollars less.
Cell phones in back pockets are the modern version of a western gunslinger reaching for his gun. Honey is giving that look that she wants some treats as payment for being a video model star!

@@leonardhpls6 stupid comment. You obviously deal with enough different people to establish what's believable and what isn't.

I love how Pete knows how to fold a t-shirt
Not many people on earth can fold a basic tee shirt
Pete did a nice job folding that shirt 👕 !

Being from the Chicagoland area these stories mean so much more. I need to come visit one of these days.
Hey Pete, just a suggestion.
Could you show us some videos of people purchasing items.
Thanks in advance.
I second this, would love to see people purchasing items we don't see here. 💯
We need a closer camera
I just bought the cutest little hunting figurine from you this morning and I’m so excited
