Studio or Live?
Both! The Rapid Flow template uses a structure that is really simple and fast in the studio and powerful for live performance. The best thing: every track you work on will immediately be ready to be played on stage. No transfer or further editing necessary.
Using a Controller
This is optional but much more fun. : ) I recommend either the AKAI APC40 MKII or the AKAI MIDIMIX. Any controller with 8 faders and 8 rotary knobs will do. I take you through the setup in the video.
Will this help my mixing?
Absolutely! I found that once you have a proven starting point, it is easy to add new kicks, basses, melodies etc. and know when they sound right. The A/B Crossfader workflow to instantly compare your track to reference tracks is the final ingredient.
Why are you sharing this?
I want to share this workflow, because I had become quite frustrated making tracks in a time consuming way. I have seen many friends stuck like this also.... Making music had started to feel like work. It often took me weeks to complete a track and they ended up sounding "overproduced". Sound familiar? Making music should be fun but when you are starting out, there are often too many technical variables that can take you away from your musical ideas and inspiration. My main aim is for producers to spend less time on technical details and get great sounding masters, while having a more inspired time in the studio. Hope this pack checks those boxes! Enjoy : )
About me
I have been making music for 25 years. My 15 mins of fame are playing my live set at Fusion and a 1 hour mix of my chill tracks hitting 4.7 mio views on UA-cam. I am a trained sound engineer and worked professionally as a DJ, musician and a product specialist for Waldorf, SPL, AVID, SSL, Avalon, Softube, Slate, and others. These days I release music regularly and am signed to SINE Music.

@RapidFlow_Shop I just downloaded it for free (don't judge!). No, it isn't that I can't afford it, but I had some problem with the payment processor. I will fix it and send you the dosh later. Having the superchannels up at the top ungrouped is a brilliant idea. I hadn't thought of that. Simple but effective! And totally agree this hybrid way of production is much for fun and organic than loop kit bashing. Thanks again, have a good weekend man.

Been searching for methods of arranging "live" then mold it from there. As a instrument player arranging have never come naturally for me so this setup is just what i needed ❤
Expected this video was clickbait or something but was pleasantly surprised. Not by the "possibility of making a track in 60min". Was expecting some bs, but wow hehe. The process of making music is always what compelled me with creating music. Not the result per se. But this just lifts alot of weight of the process to keep it as enjoyable as possible. Not fond of bates but this is the first time ive actually been superhappy to be "lured in"

Oh and for mappings. Also shout out to driven by moss. Who makes mappings for every popular controllers. And a generic mapping so users can make their own for any controller :)

@@RapidFlow_Shop they work perfectly. And hes worked on those for years and years. Only thing is that he just makes videos of what is new so reading the manual is important. And his generic flexi script can map everything with a midi in and out. Ive used it on stream deck pedal with midi plugin to rec new clip. Middel is go down one step (mixer view) and left is toggle overdub.
Also controllers with foot switches can do Rec if no clip and overdub if there is clip. So many nice workflow things.
Hes even got more functionality in push than you can do in ableton. In bitwig. So its a bit of wizardry. Easy to install also. On the push its also fully graphics supported. So with your rapid flow template you would be able to see the channel names on the controller on the push screen. Also easy to jam live on top since all scale options etc is available.
Perfect live setup for a non live performer like me haha. Would maybe be a push 2 with a behringer x-touch compact or something for the sweet motorized faders hehe.

I thought I recognised the Sebastian Mullaert influence when I first saw the template so it made me smile when you mentioned him, I also did his Circle of Live program last year and really found it valuable. How would you suggest using this template if I want to play live and include some elements like vocals or live played keys on top? To use the composer tracks? Thanks 🙏
Thx for your feedback. Yes Sebastian and Frank Wiedemann heavily influenced this workflow with their brilliant masterclasses on Circle of Live... For Live use I personally vmcrwat an audio track that I setup with a Lo cut and a low latency limiter and route it to the super channel. Dedicate a fader to it on your control surface and you re all set. Imoortannisnyour soundcard provides low latency audio all the way through the DAW. Otherwise use a mixer and mate a send from the mixer to a DAW reverb where the latency doesn't matter.. Mix the DAW and live source in the mixer.

Thank you for the inspiring workflow. I've been seeking a solution to stop creating "Tetris Music." I'd like to try this method to produce/compose, then print the arrangement live and open the session in my current DAW, Studio One, which can natively open Bitwig sessions. I will obtain a demo version of Bitwig; however, when I add the Rapid Flow template on your site, I get an "out of stock" msg.

Between Bitwig and Live, which do you prefer?
That s a good question. I had made the switch to Bitwig which says a lot but was missing low latency input monitoring. As soon as that is available I might switch permanently but for now I am very happy and fast with Ableton… Bitwig s summing engine and UI are amazing though.
Can you show how you actually write something with this? I'd like to see something from scratch. Its not very compelling seeing you start with something already done. Thnks!

If product is bad or good is other question... BUT it doesnt have to do anything with bitwig "secrets"... its SCAM
