    Something to research when you review "Waterdeep and the North" is the TSR Newsletter that you got if you filled out the response card in the 1987 forgotten realms boxed set. That Newsletter contained the map of the north that was cut from FR1: Waterdeep and the North.

    An interesting and extremely comprehensive review.
    Hqve you any experience of the Blacksand! book for Advanced Fighting Fantasy? That was my introduction to city adventures. Your review of Lankhmar had me wondering if it would stand up decades later.

      No, I only ever played Sorcery of the AFF series I think. There is a weird retroclone of AFF. I think the original holds up mechanically okay.
