The Amazing Hollies!!! Allan Clarkes Beautiful Voice Is So Incredible!!!🎶🎸💜 So Very Sad When He Left The Hollies...Heartbreaking!!!!💔.Happy Memories Of The Sixties!!!!💖🙏🤩💞🌟🇬🇧
+Holly Golightly It is fabulous...as always. I don't mind saying though, that I could even watch this all day with the sound off...if you get my drift! ;)
OMGosh it's almost too hard for me to realise I was only 11 (and didn't have as much knowledge of the English language as yet, being Dutch) when I was so into their album "Hollies Sing Dylan", including this treasure version. I still have that album on vinyl !
In the 60ties the bands usually sang to full playbacks for TV and such shows. They also didn't really play on their instruments - so you don't see any cables or amps on the stage ;-)
+Eva Roth The Hollies were well-known for being one of the TOPs Live performers (they must have hated doing Playback, specially Graham Nash) HERE I spot in something that preceed the "TV playback trolling" of the likes of bands like Iron maiden, muse, etc as Graham is "playing" Tony's guitar and Tony is "playing" Graham's. not just for once, you can see also this kind of joking around the last year of Nash with them
I love the Hollies version of BITW!! If you don’t like it, move along. No need to be negative. What is it Momma says, “If you can’t say anything nice, then say nothing at all!”!! Good advice!
I inadvertantly got some kid to purchase a copy of the entire album back in my school days. " Hollies Sing Dylan ". I've largely forgotten how I did that Maybe showed a Hollies EP I picked up somewhere, mentioned this or that, but he didn't purchase " Hollies Sing Dylan " from any retailer about, but he was into something which he figured was ' inside running ', the World Record Club. Special deals, tailor-made orders, and all that '. I think that is what he did. To show his reach. Anyway, he actually ordered that. And it was, ' okay, leave it with me, its your record, and I'll have a listen '. I did not mind this version of " Blowin' In The Wind ". I quite liked the orchestration, in fact. Afficianados would have been " Aww, Jeezers ! ", but I didn't mind it. I figured it for an exemplary and resounding '60s exit.
Esa Voz!!!!! Hermosa!!!!! Lo descubro este Año!!!!!🏆Aleluya!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂Excelentes Todos!!!🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆Un Milagro!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Thank You Tube !! Por mimarme!!!!@ y tenerme paciencia!!! Thank ❤ ❤6/4/2024
Nash should have stayed with The Hollies. CSN was crap next to the Hollies. CSN made about 5-7 good songs in 50 years. It was a drug infused dysfunctional band. Crosby can be very difficult and so can Neil Young. Hollies were much bigger in Britain than CSN.
+lyapis2008 I I'm surprised! The first recording was done by Graham Nash as lead singer, the second one by Allan Clarke after Nash's leaving of the Hollies on the album Hollies sing Dylan. "Blowin' in the wind" has been the b-side of the single "Listen to me". In this video Nash is singing the second voice.
For me, the only weak link on Hollies Sing Dylan (retitled Words and Music by Bob Dylan for the American market). Even Graham Nash himself didn't like it. The rest of the LP is top-notch.
Nash looks fed up, like he doesn't want to be there. Wants to be back in America following his (then) new dream of CSN. Long live CSN - though I love the hollies as well. Just not this song.
I like the Hollies but christ this is a terrible version of Blowin' In The Wind, it's more like Michael Bublé than the Hollies 😆 Their Bob Dylan covers album was a mistake in my opinion, and you can see why Graham Nash left after this.
no not nearly as good as Bob Dylan's vocals and performance of this song, Hollies has lost it's originality of melancholia feeling that the song was meant to be. Peter, Paul and Mary version is good.
Einfach klasse, solche Musik kommt nie wieder
Those people who wrote negative comments should keep them to themselves. They are not true Hollies fans, because everything they sing is brilliant.
Wrong!! Most bands can have an off day and Graham Nash was right when he said this was awful!
Young people of today dont know what real music is classic this
I’m glad we do. If you’ve had a bad day, listen to some good music. You’ll feel better.
One of my favorits band
They do. One of my daughter's favorite songs. She's 10 😊
Awesome group.
Eternally beautiful, Allan Clark’s voice ❤
Allan Clarke has an amazing voice.

The Morning After - Maureen McGovern ?
They don't make em like this anymore. Great Music.
the BEATLES officially broke up in 1970,in that same year, the Hollies sold the most records of any band
they don't teach u that in music school
maybe they do...I never went :)
I mean after High School,I was a percussionist for 6 years
The Amazing Hollies!!! Allan Clarkes Beautiful Voice Is So Incredible!!!🎶🎸💜 So Very Sad When He Left The Hollies...Heartbreaking!!!!💔.Happy Memories Of The Sixties!!!!💖🙏🤩💞🌟🇬🇧
This lovely song was composed from Dylan, but I love, how the Hollies it sang!
Allan Clarke's voice is particularly breathtaking on this song!
+Holly Golightly It is fabulous...as always. I don't mind saying though, that I could even watch this all day with the sound off...if you get my drift! ;)
+Poopaloo55 Ditto.
This is wonderful, music and words. Thank you
Best performance of the song

Ich kenne nichts besseres, einfach nur Klasse.
Allan Clark could sing text from a law book and make it sound incredible.

Thank you for sharing this! First time I see it in this great quality.
the best cover of Dylans blowin in the wind
Peter Simson Partial to Peter Paul & Mary myself. Excellent harmonies and powerful delivery.
Absolutely, seeing as Bob Dylan could write great songs, but sang like shit
The Holllies cover all Bob Dylan songs you can fit on one album...I own it...is a classic
De departe cel mai bun cover
In your dreams...Peter Paul and Mary's version is the definitive rendition.
Love from Estonia.
Best version of this song by far.
I love the Hollies version of BITW!! If you don’t like it, move along. No need to be negative. What is it Momma says, “If you can’t say anything nice, then say nothing at all!”!! Good advice!
brings tears to my eyes😭😭😭😭
The Hollies, einfach fantastisch 👍👍👍👍Es war mein 1. Livekonzert.

perfect band to sing Dylan IMO

This is the only song Graham Nash sang on the "Dylan Album" before he left the Hollies for CSN.

It was this that Nash left The Hollies for CSN and he was absolutely right.
Yup. Graham says that at the end of this short interview ~ www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p03q39gb
Absurd comment@@BritainsBestGuitar
Over the top production of a simple song. Very Tom Jonesy1
I agree..
Over the top production. Doesn´t fit the song. Great mistake
Voor alle mannenbroeders.
Bob inspired so many people ...
The Hollies singing Dylan
The last video with Nash...
+lyapis2008 He must have been distracted; he's supposed to be miming 'Ahhh' and he's miming the lyrics instead!
+lyapis2008 I
I'm surprised! The first recording was done by Graham Nash as lead singer, the second one by Allan Clarke after Nash's leaving of the Hollies on the album Hollies sing Dylan. "Blowin' in the wind" has been the b-side of the single "Listen to me". In this video Nash is singing the second voice.
1969remember great song
cornball brass section , still this is a wonderful cover.
Graham Nash says he loves Dylan's words and music, and hates this "Vegas" rendition.
even ppl my age don't know that
u know that's stephen stills?
u decide
Lol. Drummer is wearing the “poor man’s toupee”.
Todos os dias eu beijo a tela do Itu perto de beijo a tela do celular sento perto
Especially in Nagasaki ??????
yeah...that stephen stills
The best version of this song! Dylan's performance is too much liberal if you know what I mean. :)
Dytko88 .
the guy with the facial hair is Stephen Stills
That’s Graham Nash. He left the Hollies to go be with Crosby, Stills & Nash shortly after this song was done.
of CSNY
he plays multiple instruments
few know that but me
song is not complete
Damals konnten die Künstler noch singen!
it's the other guitarist
One of the reasons David Nash left the band.
His name is Graham Nash. Clearly you’re not a Hollies fan. 😂
That is Allan Clarke.
Graham Nash left to form Crosby Stills and Nash.
blow wo wo wo wo woin in the wind????
🤘🤘🤘🤘
The hollies were nothing without graham Nash
No wonder Nash left.
Com a nona não nana leão
Someone get him a harmonica.
This is the cheesiest thing ever.
What a crappy cover.... Should be a Vegas act...... And I love the Hollies!!!!
For me, the only weak link on Hollies Sing Dylan (retitled Words and Music by Bob Dylan for the American market). Even Graham Nash himself didn't like it. The rest of the LP is top-notch.
Wunderschön von Dylan komponiert, aber bitte nur von den Hollies gesungen, nicht vom grossen Meister
I am a dinosaur one of the last
Nash looks fed up, like he doesn't want to be there. Wants to be back in America following his (then) new dream of CSN. Long live CSN - though I love the hollies as well. Just not this song.
Blowowowowowowing in the wind... Damdamda... In the wihind... Damdamda... In the wiiihind...
It really sucks!
Graham was right. This sucked. Shame on the producer for thinking Dylan tunes could be done swing-style.
I think this is much better, I don't feel that depressive as after Dylans version
I like the Hollies but christ this is a terrible version of Blowin' In The Wind, it's more like Michael Bublé than the Hollies 😆
Their Bob Dylan covers album was a mistake in my opinion, and you can see why Graham Nash left after this.
no not nearly as good as Bob Dylan's vocals and performance of this song, Hollies has lost it's originality of melancholia feeling that the song was meant to be. Peter, Paul and Mary version is good.
Graham Nash was right to criticise this poor arrangement.
love them but this song was not for them
Fucking horrid...Graham Nash was right..this sucks.
This sucks as it really shows that the Hollies are becoming unartistic by recording Bob Dylan songs. No wonder why Graham Nash left
Terrible track, from a great group Why record this song, no wonder Nash left the Hollies after this crap
