    Looks to me like these were taken by a professional photographer who knew good composition and lighting techniques. Back then, if it was a pro photographer, he was probably shooting with a big Graphlex camera! Anyhow, thanks to all involved to share these with the public.

      You are correct! Celebrated LIFE magazine photographer, Dick Friske, favoured Rolleiflex and Hasselblad cameras. :)
