Asked good questions, got zero answers.
Harris asked great solid questions. Trump answered in his usual roundabout way. His said on stage that his plan to get America out of inflation is to open up the our oil reserves, produce more oil internally. He said that the U.S. has more oil than the Middle East. More supply will reduce prices. He also said that he will make sure the feds reduce interest rates and that will encourage people to buy homes. Trump is a fighter. If nothing else, he will bully the rich boys who run our country and force them to stimulate the economy.
Way to go Harris Faulkner. You were terrific and not totally hateful to Trump like the others. Thanks for that so people may actually learn something from the questions.

Why didn't she ask him why he wants to implement a 10% tariff on all foreign goods and up to 60% on Chinese goods which will likely cause higher inflation the likes of which we haven't seen, the inflation which he claims he will fix? Black people already make less money on average than white people so higher inflation will negatively impact them more on average.

I watched the show and I was really impressed with how Harris conducted herself and posed her questions. It was clear to me she was trying to get Trump to answer the important questions and stay clear of emotional and unimportant issues.

Also, check out when Trump banned Huawei, the largest chip manufacturer to the US from doing business with us. That idled manufacturing production worldwide, further reducing supply and creating more inflation. If it weren't so, then why are countries around the globe suffering the same price increases in finished goods? Trump did lose it and get a bit hostile. HOWEVER the moderator Rachel Scott set the tone in the beginning with her contentious manner. When a guest is invited to speak at your convention whether you like him or not, professionally you should be respectful. I don’t blame Trump. She created a hostile environment and it disgust me to read all the headlines slamming Trump and not bringing up Rachel Scott’s behavior. In a just world she would be reprimanded or fired for her unprofessional behavior.

Rachel only asked him about his own statements. Those statements made by TRUMP are hostile and un-presidential. If he's man enough to talk like that, he should be man enough to answer and face the consequences. Be real, TRUMP was a complete mess, and will only get worse with time
She asked him a very relevant question, that's what journalists do:

I wish there were more people who asked him critical questions about the policy he stands for.
