I went to Woodward High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Very near the school was a spread-out apartment complex called Swifton Village. Donald Trump's dad Fred bought the rather rundown complex at auction, and Donald Trump, at 17 or 18 years old, would come there with his dad to help with lawn clean up and so forth. I've read a quote from an older man who remembered the teenaged Donald. He said, yeah, his dad had him raking leaves, taking out trash, etc. (At the time, of course no one had ever heard of him, and I had no idea I was practically "rubbing elbows" with a future president! lol)

Trump only wants to use America to restore his lost finances. He would do that by bargaining with rich people. They give him money now, and he promises in return to shift the tax burden further away from rich people, more onto the middle-class. As if this is a new idea... It isn't.
Lots of middle-class people support Trump now, and the reasons are simple. They remember times in their own lives when they lied to friends, cheated on a spouse, avoided paying their equal share of taxes, etc... The problem for his fans is that pretending his farts smell great does not prove that their own lives are OK. They may think so, but that is only wishful thinking. In reality, it simply brands them as liars.
There is a way to regain self-respect. The only way is to decide that more of the same is NOT OK.
