Distance measuring and maintenance, along with which openings you purposefully open to set em up was my road to success for years. If u can't maintain the distance or they dont bite your bait, counter fighting doesn't work as well so u must be able to do it in any distance and with various traps. Freestyle, instead of being obvious with ur plan
Great video! My coach sometimes will tell me not to guard up too much, but instead purposely leave an opening to bait the opponent. Do it so that it limits what shots they can use so that defending and countering will be easier.
Will do, I have some videos covering on some of this already too. Check my video on How to land Long Combinations. Will give you an idea on how to approach your set ups
Awesome video, the key on creating openings in a consistent matter. Would love a similar analysis on volume/swarmer fighters re: "controlling exchanges!"
Thanks man, A video like that is in the pipeline. Basically why the swarmers have success when they do. Is because they control when the exchange starts. And how to negate that
Or more advice for video and this is important how to land intercepting counters in Southpaw vs orthodox and same stance plzz male a video surely and drills for these counters plzz this is really important for me ❤❤❤😊😊
@Better_Boxing like intercepting counters this is a type of counter where we intercept on opponent's attack before they land there attack on us so I mean that I want drills on these counters in both southpaw vs southpaw and orthodox vs southpaw stance .
Before that last sequence where tank dropped Ryan with the left Hook Ryan throw 3 Lead left hooks in a row. Tank went under 2 of them then on the 3rd countered Ryan, you cannot use the same weapon that predictable in any combat sport Ryan paid the ultimate price for his foolery. Fighting is very mentally exhausting especially when you are nervous like Ryan was at this point he had no idea he just throw 3 left hooks in a row. Same with the Tank knock out of Leo Santa Cruz., Leo was against the ropes and throw 3 lead straight righthands in a row you cannot do the same sequence over and over again against anyone let alone a counter puncher with power like tank.
Nice observation. This is also why the set up helps. Usually people repeat their reactions to the same moves. This way we get the to repeat it enough times to counter
Soooooo helpful. Holy I love this channel
Thanks man🔥 Glad to hear that is helpful
This channel is extremly underated
Thank you🔥

Nice, baits are the riskier of the set ups. But is cool if you are at a point where you can use them, they are a really useful tool
Yo u smart man I really like your break downs you know your stuff
