Those little knives like that add so much to the experience in a little leather slip!!!!! Rough ryder s all slips would fit that little piece like a glove….. also it’s great 5th pocket carry!!!!! Try the small rough Ryder slip and the form right up to the knife watch how cool it looks…….. cool little knife Thrifty I like it!!!!! Be well buddy😊
Nice little knife . Imperial always represented good value to cost . I've carried a Imperial Barlow ( made in Ireland ,circa late 80s ) as my second knife for almost 35 years ,never a problem or a complaint . Great review . Peace , Be Free .
Perhaps the best deal around for an EDC slip joint. Gave this very knife -- along with a RR Ladyleg -- to my 13-year-old niece (a budding knife collector!). Thanks for all the great videos. Wishing you a Happy New Year!
Nice one! Imperial has a few of these stockmans floating about. I have the IMP15 and 16, which they call Amber and Swirl respectively. They came with a lackluster edge as well, but a quick strop was all they needed. They make nice little knives to keep in my work bag, as its about as big of a knife as we're allowed to have at the plant where I work.
Have a Congress in the black swirl and just finally got the Sod Buster. For what you pay for these knives they are well made, they're pretty solid, even the Congress doesn't have any blade rub and those blades are stacked in there. Good little working knives.
I have a bunch of those Imperial plastic swirl knives and I think they're really beautiful knives for the price. And mine have almost always been sharp out of the box, a better track record than the modern Old Timers I've bought. I have all three sizes of trapper, a small canoe (slightly stiff action), and a medium stockman which became my wife's everyday garden and box-opening knife.
2 3/4" closed length pretty sure. 3 5/8 would be a medium stockman. Real cool knife. Don't know why stockmans are often so affordable but I like them, even the cheap ones. I got a similar one with jigged bone for under 10 bucks. The acrylic ice is nice looking too. Then I have some Case ones which are more valuable of course. But the cheap ones are fun to casually carry and use.
About as spot on of a description one could ever want of the lil imp shrade traditional pocket knives. Thank you sir.
You're welcome. Glad it was helpful.
Nice looking little stockman.
Nice little gift. Fits right in the 5th pocket.
Amazing small knife!!!👍
Yes indeed! Glad you like it. Take care Radek👍
Great review! You can never have enough Stockman's. Thanks for sharing.
Fun little knife. 5th pocket dropper. Thanks, Tom.

Yea they are really great little 5th pocket carries. Perfect for small tasks. Be smart, be selfless, be southern. Well two out of three ain't bad. 😊
Nice little knife! Thanks for showing it off, buddy!
Simple little stockman. I like the blades though, they seem real sturdy. The andle is pretty nice looking too.
Nice knife for the price, love the way your video is showing every detail of the knives, great lighting and resolution, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed the view. The slideshow at the end is good seeing the fine detail. Thanks, Jose.
Cool little stockman TK , thanks for the video.
No problem, Prop 👍Inexpensive little piece.

The Barlow is super sturdy, they can take a lot of abuse. This stockman has blades that seem pretty durable. Thanks Michael.

I appreciate the kind words. I hope your niece enjoys her gift. Thanks for watching, Bobby.
Yes, she was beyond thrilled. Wasn't sure how much she liked knives until her reaction. I'm going to give her a Case for her B-Day! :)
Nice fit and finish, I like the cracked ice scales. Would do nicely as a first knife for somebody.
Yes it would make for a very good beginners knife. Nice idea. Thanks, DD
Very cool looking .
The handles aren't bad looking for celluloid.
@@ThriftyKaniffy I know it's not comparable but if that look could be duplicated in Carbon fiber I'd be All over it . Happy New Year My Friend . 🙏🏻

Yep, my one complaint is they could come sharper out of the box. Thanks, Jesse.
There really are no downsides to this knife. It will make a great gift to a young man or boy.
A very affordable option, and would be a good starter knife. Thanks, Glen.
Those are nice looking knives! And great prices!!
Can't complain about the price. Budget steel, but will repel rust and sharpen easy enough.
Nice looking knife TK it is a pretty little thing!
Not a bad job by Imperial making the celluloid sparkle.
@@ThriftyKaniffy yeah that handle really popped

The blade placement is surprisingly good. Good, sturdy little blades.
Looks cool.
Thanks Rob, it's a fun little budget piece.

The blades are pretty stout for such a small knife. Probably my favorite thing about it.
I've got the large Imperial cracked ice stockman. It's a nice knife for a nice price.
Not bad for a budget piece. The blade stock isn't flimsy like on a lot of other smaller knives.
Nice. Kind of reminds me of Rite Edge.
Yes, not too dissimilar. Nice budget starter piece.

I agree, a good affordable price and decently made knife. Thanks, Sean.
Their cracked ice is very pretty
Not a bad look for nothing more than celluloid. Thanks, TS
Where do you buy your imperials for under 10$?
Chicago Knife Works is a good place to start. www.chicagoknifeworks.com/imperial-schrade-stockman/
@@ThriftyKaniffy Amazon Prime as well. Chicago Knife works also have an Amazon page, great value on their knives.
Got to say it looks well made for the price. Just to small for my liking.
Yep pretty diminutive piece. The King will alow it.
👍👍👍👍👍
