I really like this video as it has the Romanization and I find it helps me with pronunciation! More Like this with both Hangeul and Romanization please!
Can you pls make a scenario like choosing what the korean responses are? (Like the cafe scenario?) i feel like I can use these sentences when I go to Korea in June but will be completely lost with native responses

At 1:47 Isn't that a ㅈ where it says 맞아요 why is it pronounced as ma-na-yo??? I'm confused someone plz explain
it's actually 맞나요, and you pronounce the "ㅈ" like a quiet "t" sound because it is at the end of "맞"

I just had a question about something I have noticed about pronunciation.
Why is it that when something like " 있었어" is said, it sounds like "이써써"? I have noticed that if words at the end have an ㅆ at the bottom, it either changes into a "t" sound if there is no ㅇ after in the next syllable. However, when there is a ㅆ at the end of a syllable block and a ㅇin the next syllable block, it sounds like it is being carried over. Why is that?

Keiko Kamal Keiko Kamal If you don’t mind, I’ll give an answer for you. If ㅇ is the first syllable, it means nothing but a filler for a vowel (ex. ㅏ -> ㅇ+ㅏ = 아). So when you read ‘있었어’, the bottom syllable ㅆ do the job instead of the ㅇ. You just pronounce ‘이써써’, it’s easier to pronounce. Hope this is helpful to you.
@@fangssoo Ah, I see. That makes more sense. So does it matter what is at the bottom syllable, or vowel is before the ㅇ? For example, would having 톤이 also have the ㄴ carried over?

It's exactly 12:00 am in India but I am still struggling to learn Korean
For the kpop event,
I would like to say that Im glad I got a chance to know BTS, they are the only one who inspired me to learn Korean language and know more about Korean culture, I really wish to visit Seoul one day and attend their concert there, but I've set a goal that first I'll try to become fluent in Korean and then I'll visit Seoul, and in this journey TTMIK is helping me a lot! 😊
i have a question about phrases ending I've seen the video "Common sentence endings" but i didn't find anything about this one "음" (or another consonant in place of ㅇ) and my Korean friends use this all the time.. help please..i can't even understand when we use it and how and why..i'm confused. and Thank you!
1:16 Can 저기요 be used outside of a shop/restaurant? What would you use to get someone's attention out on the street?
2:18 What's the difference between 이게 뭐예요 and 이거 뭐예요? Don't both mean "What is this"?
there is yo at the end of almost all of them, what does yo stand for?
요 is a polite ending to sentences. It's extremely common.
