I can recall as a kid , on a warm evening , laying out in the potatoes patch , watching the hevans and seeing Sputnik , flying overhead from southeast to northwest . That’s actually my mom! Her name was Lorrie Peters. She worked at NBC right after graduating from Syracuse. She went in to sing with the Glen Miller Orchestra and made a few singles in Nashville. I still have most of her recordings and some of these jingles on reel to reel.
