    Crazy how you work that magic 🎩 ✨️
    Taken that Projector apart! To clean it,
    Noway i could pull that off i would end up ripping the wire off
    On the fisrt steps lol 🤣
    Question , How about these other Projector brands that say they are Engine sealed 🤔
    So you dont have to clean the black spots & dust off
    Is that actually a gimmick or true facts ? 🤷

      Hiya, thanks for your comment. Even though a projector is claimed to be optically sealed dust will always find a way in eventually.
      Either through the lens when focusing, or through the filtration system.
      DLP projectors are far superior at handling dust compared to LCD projectors
      Hope this helps.🙂👍

    Hi. Great video. I was wondering if it matters what uv filter brand you buy. I’ve seen them range from £10-£40. Also, you reckon you could seal it with double sided tape instead.

    • @ReviewingHub
      @ReviewingHub  24 дні тому +1

      Hiya, thanks for the comment. 🙂 I don't think it matters so much on the brand, as long as it's from a reputable brand that's been making UV filters for a very long time. As you want glass that's optically clear as possible for the best image.
      Here are some of the brands I've used and all have been great when modifying projectors.
      Hoya
      K&F
      Kenko
      Zomei
      I'm not sure weather sticky tape will work, but you can certainly give it a go 🙂👍
      Let me know how you get on 🙂👍

    Hi, does this mod void the warranty or can the hot glue be removed easily if the projector ever needs to be returned for any reason in the future? I note that you still have the plastic factory wrapping on the front of the projector, is that essential?

    • @ReviewingHub
      @ReviewingHub  Місяць тому

      Hiya, No the glue can easily be removed as it's hot glue, so it just peels off. You can use some IPA to make it easier to remove the glue if it helps and it shouldn't leave any trace that you've done anything.
      I left the Plastic wrapping on the front so the UV filter didn't scratch the plastic on the front on the projector, or if I wanted too, I could've just peeled the plastic wrap from the projector for quick removal. but this is not essential.
      Hope this helps 🙂👍

      That's a good question. I haven't looked into this, or found the need too. But if you did want to replace the fan the best and most quietest fan to get is a Noctua fan. 🙂👍

    • @ReviewingHub
      @ReviewingHub  21 день тому +1

      @@giorgioadreani3647 Yes it would void the warrentee due to the sticker placed over the screw holes to undo the projector.
      Most projectors I've reviewed on my channel all have fan noise, usually ranging between 50-60 dB there's not much you can do about this unless you try to modify it with your own fans.
      Obviously all manufacturers use cheaper fans to keep costs low which produces more noise.
      Noctua fans would drive prices up so hence they just use cheaper fans.
      I should think it's possible to replace the fan, but I would wait until your warrentee has expired before modifying it if you're worried.

    Hello, nice video and great support. Thanks. Why choose the p62, and not the ace k1 that you prefer in other of your videos?
    After all the K1 is supposed to give even better image according to your experience.
    i was going to buy the p62, bought the ace k1 because of your recommendation.
    Should I also stick the UV lens on the K1? here then probably a different size

    • @ReviewingHub
      @ReviewingHub  Рік тому +2

      The K1 is suppose to be optically sealed too, but dust still finds its way into the optics and eventually onto the LCD, which will cause black spots on the image.
      I was just demonstrating how to cure and solve this dust issue on all projectors.
      I was just demonstrating this modification on the P62 projector.
      It doesn't matter if a projector says optically sealed, dust still finds away through the lens, due to focussing drawing dust into the machine, or when the projectors on.
      This UV modification will extend the life of your machine, and make you have a crystal clear image for longer, without no risk of dust entering the machine through the lens.
      On the K1 you will need a 95mm UV lens, I have also done this modification on the K1 and it works wonders!
      The K2 is probably the worst ive seen when it comes to optically sealed engines
      Since my review of the K2 , there is 10 times more dust In it now than there was in my review.
      I will have a video out next week showing you why this is.
      This was just an educational video, showing everyone how to stop this issue, and to all manufacturers that see my video!
      I still highly recommend Wimius projectors and Yaber projectors.
      They make excellent machines, are are great companies to support.
      I now do this UV modification on all brands of projectors, because I know it works! 🙂👍
      Hope this answers your question 😊

      Thank you for the quick and detailed feedback.
      Which UC filter did you choose for the K1 on amazon? Do you have a link?
      I also squinted over at the K2.
      Everyone says it beats the K1 by worlds, but is it really?
      It seems to me more and more that the K2 has lost out to the K1 in terms of build quality.
      With the K1, Wimius strongly advertised the dust tightness and technical quality, but not anymore with the K2.
      Would be nice if you could still give your technical opinion.

    • @ReviewingHub
      @ReviewingHub  Рік тому +3

      @@V.B-s2x 95mm UV lenses are quite expensive on amazon, and you want a branded one with good optical quality glass. As just buying any brand of UV filter, could possibly degrade the quality of the image. HOYA and Kenko are excellent brands but very expensive on amazon. I found a good seller on ebay that ships Kenko UV Filters from germany. here is the UV filter i recommend.
      www.ebay.co.uk/itm/173543202365?hash=item2867fb1e3d:g:0V8AAOSwrxVboVf6&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwEq%2B%2FBcEmNazxgDZQA%2BWizeI73isdrH9N%2BQF%2Bs7lifzYJAPIarjxmX9Qq8sVtisoc9w9Dmv%2FEdZSzsYX%2BvULVmMMB%2Bqou%2B0sJBUrprPOp0y8D3CY%2Fv3cENSjdeHinpkTjW7Zehp8BjObYirAWDxLunqlFXjhx4IYAawznpPH0RjiKrkSAgTG49IKqqLLh3ZbTXsUCqhHumhGCYaWGXbRnVabzVVJp09ItaaB3zsIXRdLMRhNLGcfKXI9a3zDzepRKw%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR4ibgsu6Yg
      This is the filter that I purchased, and its excellent!
      The k1 was far superior at handling dust then the K2, the K1 was very good at keeping it away, and in my opinion the K1 does have better build quality over the K2.
      But obviously the K2 has more technology built into the machine, over the K1. such as better sound, Android Tv , Alexa support , and NFC.
      But if you stick a google chromecast in the back of the K1, and purchase a nice bluetooth speaker, you won't be losing much over the K2, all that you will be losing is the NFC feature, and alexa support, and 150 more ANSI lumens.
      But when I first reviewed the Yaber K2 projector, I thought the image did look a lot brighter over the K1. However, little did I know at the time, the K2 brightness level was turned up to 100% when I was reviewing the product. So it appeared a lot brighter over the K1.
      Then after my review, I set the K1 back up, and checked the brightness settings on the K1, and the brightness level was set at 50% so honestly now i'm not so sure if it really is brighter over the K1.
      without testing it with a specialised light meter, which I do plan on getting in the future.
      Knowing what I know now, if I didn't already have both machines, I would purchase the K1 over the K2.
      As You won't have as much dust issues, or technical bug issues purchasing the K1 🙂
      Hope this helps you 🙂

      The slight lag never caused any problems in games either.... it was EPIC playing broderlands 3 at 100 inches

      .
      By the specs this projector should be alot brighter with better contrast ratio to the yaber V10
      .
      .
      .
      My only MAJOR complaint was the yaber let alot of dust in and it suffered bad screen burn
      .
      .
      But most of that screen burn was caused by falling asleep WAAAY too many times with the projector on 🤦‍♂️
      .
      .
      .
      If this projector hasnt got an off timer,
      then a timer switch is needed to prevent severe screen burn due to falling asleep watching movies

    Hi, I have had this projector for about a week and a half, I’ve actually had a few white spots come up. Would these be dust specs on the LCD or stuck pixels?

    • @ReviewingHub
      @ReviewingHub  Рік тому

      If it's white specs on a black background, and black specks on a white background it's usually just dust on the LCD.
      If you peel of the sticker on the bottom of the projector, you will find a door, buy your self a rocket blower on eBay, when it arrives open the door have the door facing the floor so dust doesn't go inside whilst it's open and blow into the gap with the rocket blower and the dust particles might fall out the bottom.
      Or you could use a swab like I did in the video to remove the specs.
      Hope this helps. 🙂👍

    Watching 4K footage aint gonna do nothing on a p62… its just converting it to 1080p, youd get higher quality from streaming native 1080p

    • @ReviewingHub
      @ReviewingHub  6 місяців тому

      Thanks for your comment.
      There's a method to my madness. Lol
      1. I showed the projector can play 4k videos even tho its only downscaled to 1080p.
      2. when you upload a 1080p video to UA-cam you lose a lot of quality because of compression as UA-cam shrinks your video file, resulting in lower quality video than the original up loaders 1080p video file.
      3. playing a 4k video even tho it will be down scaled to 1080p you will have more chance of receiving a 1080p signal because of the original file having more information to begin with so when UA-cam compresses the original file it will still be over 1080p resolution.
      4. Therefore by me selecting a 4k video I have a lot more chance of receiving the full resolution of 1080p resolution that this projector is capable of.
      5. which ultimately results in a true representation of what this projector is capable of, and better quality videos for the people that's watching.
      6. And obviously when I uploaded this video review file, UA-cam will also compress my content resulting in again lower quality content.
      This is why I select 4k content when streaming and try to upload in 4k also so you should get the full 1080p image when viewing.
      This is my theory behind it. I hope this answers your question. 🙂👍
