    The other thing I was impressed with was that they actually disclose the % of vitamin c 10%. That’s so rare usually it’s some weird vitamin c concoction of other stuff with vitamins so that’s cool

    This is one of the FEW Korean Vitamin C’s that actually has a high decent % -10% 3-0 ethyl, of vitamin c derivative in it. So many of the vitamin c’s made in Korea just have some weird vitamins in it OR they use l-ascorbic which I just can’t do. And the price is fantastic 🎉

    Thanks for this review! Quite a bummer that this product contains some potentially irritating ingredients for my sensitive skin. Btw, have you tried any products from "Kaine". They look gorgreous, yet are so affordable and with great ingredients too. Hoping to see some reviews from you!

    Yes. I ordered the newer sunscreen from BOJ on Amazon. It was not the real deal. It was really cheap. I just threw it away. I have not decided to renew my Amazon prime. I buy too much on impulse and also they have been really dropping the ball lately.
    Meanwhile, I’m frantically ordering my must haves before my prime is ending on the 25th🙄

    I thought about getting this but I'm gonna pass. I wish it didn't have the gardenia florida extract plus I'd rather use a vitamin c product thats known to make a difference. I know its new but I've read a few comments regarding making skin feel more oily. I'll wait for more reviews. ❤

      That is a bummer. I’ve been really curious about this too. The satsuma and gardenia ingredients feel too risky to my sensitive skin. I can only do ascorbic acid every few days without getting irritated. I’m still looking for my HG vitamin c ester. I like the new Vanicream w THD, but its only 5%.

  • @kellysblackcat
    @kellysblackcat 11 місяців тому +1

    When you were reading about the satsuma manderin, you mentioned animal studies. Is that from beauty of joseon that has the animal study? As I thought they were cruelty free? I never thought of cruelty free brands using ingredients that had been tested on animals. Which makes me take another look at my cruelty free products now.

    • @sierrarmcclain

      I’m pretty sure every skincare ingredient has been tested on animals.

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  11 місяців тому +1

      No, it wasn't BOJ that did the animal study, it was probably a study done years ago. Let me see if I can find the link: incidecoder.com/ingredients/citrus-unshiu-peel-extract

      @@NOBSBeauty thank you for the link. It's an interesting thought when you use cruelty free products, that maybe they're not cruelty free in a sense. Thanks 👍

    • @kellysblackcat
      @kellysblackcat 11 місяців тому +1

      @@sierrarmcclain yes I hadn't thought of the ingredients they use being tested by the manufacture or somewhere, prior to them using the ingredient. I'm going to do a deep dive looking into this. As I've used cruelty free for years and now I'm a bit confused.

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  4 місяці тому +1

      Is your skin on the dry side? I think you could probably get away with that if your skin is dry. If it is oily it might end up being a bit too much and give skin a shiny finish.
