- This is my first long (more than 10 minute) offroad ride ever. Thanks to Simon ands Russel for inviting me along. I was really impressed with how easily the big bike handled the gravel roads, even when they got a bit rough.
The offroad mode allowed for as much wheel spin as I wanted at this stage. I believe that it turns off the ABS on the front but not the back.
Maybe next time I will try the Offroad Pro mode.
My legs were buggered for the next couple of days. It turns out that when you stand your legs are supposed to be straight and not bent like mine were when I stood up on the pegs. - Спорт
Greetings from Las Vegas. Great video. I am envious of your dirt road routes. I looks like a beautiful area. Nice job with both the GoPro 9 on the helmet and the Insta360 on the front of the bike. I have the exact same bike and I just got an Insta360, waiting on the selfie stick, and I am eager to try front and rear mounts as your videos have shown. I appreciate your earlier videos as they helped me with some of my accessory decisions.
Thanks a lot mate. Just a warning on the Insta 360...don't let it extend too far as it will eventually break as mine did. I suggest that you secure the selfie stick at two points on the crash bar to make sure it is rigid enough.
Good to see you on the Tiger again, Alan. I know what you mean about buggered legs. I need about 2” of bar riser (no such animal, methinks) to offset my tall torso, so buggered legs it shall be for me. Nice little ride, there. Big damned beasts though, aren’t they? Thanks a lot mate. I'm not even that tall. My problem, as I have seen on other UA-cam videos, is that I was using the same standing position as I use on my mountain bike. I'm probably not leaning forward enough either. The way I hear you need to stand just feels unnatural to me at the moment.
@@ADV-Rider-Dude Understood. As tall a bike as the Tiger is, I’m 6’5” with, as I said, a damned long torso. I’m hoping to get it all dialed in for my off-road needs this coming Spring. I have found on my previous dual sports, that no matter what I will be craning my neck to look ahead while trying to maintain solid control of the bike. It’s a battle… Sigh. 🤔
Hello Alan congratulations on the beautiful bike and ride! I would suggest that the video be in 1080p 👍. Please, if you can tell me what your GPS is and the support where you bought it … I really liked yours installed. A hug and good winds!

I am using the Garmin Zumo XT GPS. Have a look at some of my recent videos on my channel. You will see how I wired it and also my first and final solutions for mounting. There is also another video where I suggest how to configure the GPS with the bike, your phone and a headset because if you don't get this right then they all fight with each other.

Thanks for another solid video. Let me ask you this - what's your audio recording setup? Do you have a mic connected to the go pro or is it something different?
Thanks a lot mate. Yes. I use the GoPro Media mod for my GoPro 9. I have a microphone plugged into it. My GoPro is arranged to the chin of my helmet with a removable mount that clamps on and the mic is attached to the inner side of the clamp. rode.com/en/microphones/lavalier-wearable/lavalier-ii

What kind of cross bar mount is that for your gps? Have the a 23’ rally pro and looking for a mount for my zumo
