Actually, MISA is playing her Black Cloud Private Reserve - MISA Signature Bass. 😁 Looks a lot like a Gibson though. Nice to see you back and doing well!
Honestly if you are interested in seeing their growth as a band and as musicians it is chronological. But really it doesn't matter as long as you keep in mind where you are at in their catalogue. They started as talented and now are stellar performers that come along only once in a very great time.
they always were stellar telented but the first songs were wanted by their management. After Brand New Maid album they had started playing for themselves and not that management company. Glad they did it. They were being stifled for sure.
@@thissailorja Kanami was once asked in an interview if the band would ever record any of the songs she had written that were rejected by the record company. Her answer was no. She said that that was the past and she was thankful to the company for providing songs for them at first because it helped her to understand rock music and made her a better song writer. It allowed them time to mature and understand what it took to be the phenomenal performers they are today.
Filmed where Miku worked as a Maid. The growing frustration until her shout 'Don't say you love me'! Brilliant even when the lyrics are not known. Just seen your reaction to ' About Us' live? Very emotional love letter to the fans. Anyway great to have you back.

Maid my day! Sygne's back! Excellent and entertaining comments as expected. Some of Miku's history being hinted on in the video - after struggling as a vocalist, she worked in a cafe dressed as a maid before starting the Band. The video is located in that cafe. As primary lyricist I think she is very much reflecting on what drives her After that Life. Chronological sounds cool. One exception might be visiting a big live performance for a change of pace - maybe 'Domination (live)' or 'Freedom (live)'.
I think you'd like the live "About Us" their most recent song and a gorgeous ballad. I think you'd like the bass in that one. Misa has yet another bass, a new one from Black Cloud. It is a 5-string Jazz bass with a worn look to make it look old. She finger picks in that video. The bass looks a lot like the Fender 4-string Jazz bass she used in the early videos like "Thrill". "Thrill" was their 1st MV and even then she has a bass solo.
Glad you picked up on the ska aspect of the song, they've done it on previous songs 'freedom' probably being their most popular, they really are a punk band at heart and its great. 🤘🤘

Welcome back! :) I see this video, even though it may seem quite simple at first glance, as a small masterpiece. The first scene takes place in exactly THE maid café where Miku used to work as a maid and where the idea for Band-Maid was born. We have 5 actors of whom 4 gradually join the madness after first looking at it in wonder and reluctance. I believe that the most "Difficult" Band Maid song is "Different" They wrote it as a theme song for a Japanese anime and had to make it at a super high pace, what with all the different modulations made it very difficult, especially for our Little Pigeon, Miku. Misa has played 5 strings almost exclusively since their early recordings. She plays a GS Precision, a custom made that she calls "Smoking Black", and I've seen a blonde Fender 5 string in some recent vids. She also has some curls in her hair in recent vids that I, personally find quite sexy!

@@SigneKruzmane So when you say there's compression on someone's voice, that means it's had that effect applied in order to make it more consistent with the levels of the rest of the instruments in the song?

Have you done any live music by them? I think you should try: Domination live - everyone gets a short solo, Misa switching her playing between picking and slapping. It’s like Guitar Hero. Onset live - Akane kills the drums, lots of finger taps Cross live - nice vocal intro by Saiki. More melodic rock sound.
Ska music gone mad - like that too. Hey, that would be a good next trick for the band - a Band-Maid tinted ska song, like The Specials meet Band-Maid. Hey, that could be their next April Fools (a la Band Maiko) thing, although maybe more reggae tinted so they can wear dreads and sit around a hooka.
i was kinda hoping for this year's prank to get the reggae version of Black hole, or something with Misa on the vocals, bringing the house down, but... there's always next year, right?
Every official video is worth watching...including Miku's hand washing guide (though I wonder...should a guitarist spend so long washing fingers and softening the tips?...ouch)
Doesn't matter what order you do them in! You can try a few of the instrumental videos - GIOVANI - BLACK HOLE - REAL EXISTENCE (MV version is good) The back room of a maid cafe - MIKU's photo is on the wall at the beginning of the video. In a nutshell the video has nothing to do with the song. It is a short history of the band - starting with MIKU - RED Then KANAMI with the Purple on the bench then KANAMI with the chair and wearing Yellow after comes MISA as the cleanup crew and then SAIKI as the Manager - Pretty much the order that MIKU brought them into the band. This is all MIKU's idea from the start of the band originally. She knows what she's doing. That said these are all very smart and talented women and I respect them for all that they have done. NOT A GIBSON!!!! MISA's Bass is a BLACK CLOUD - Private Stock.
It looks like you've already reacted to all the singles on the album, i would highly suggest checking out the whole thing, maybe you could even do a review.
It’s a black cloud personal reserve special bass. It looks very like a gibson but isn’t. Gotta say i was enthused by her playing a “gibson” but this is better ❤️❤️
Hi from the UK 🇬🇧 something you might like to check out the band is called Nightwish it's a symphonic metal band from Finland with a Dutch singer floor jansen (the vakyrie) This band has a massive following in Europe and the Internet Nightwish ghost love score wacken open air concert 2013 And prepare for the Nightwish army arriving at the door 🚪 lol 😆
I doubt you will find a bad song. Even those small venues where it was shot with a phone. The sound isn't great on those but their interaction with the audience makes it worth it. In one video Misa shreds and taps on the bass, challenging Kanami in a play off. Don't need to react to them but for your enjoyment.

Every official video is worth watching...including Miku's hand washing guide (though I wonder...should a guitarist spend so long washing fingers and softening the tips?...ouch)
Check out the instrumental of Afterlife its just amazing.
Love Band Maid just pllay more Band Maid
Band Maid 👐
Doesn't matter what order you do them in! You can try a few of the instrumental videos - GIOVANI - BLACK HOLE - REAL EXISTENCE (MV version is good)
The back room of a maid cafe - MIKU's photo is on the wall at the beginning of the video.
Waiting for you to react on bandmaid about us and wonderland
I have a video on About Us already 👏🏻☺️
@@SigneKruzmane witching it now 😍 next wonderland please
It’s a black cloud personal reserve special bass. It looks very like a gibson but isn’t. Gotta say i was enthused by her playing a “gibson” but this is better ❤️❤️
Hi from the UK 🇬🇧 something you might like to check out the band is called Nightwish it's a symphonic metal band from Finland with a Dutch singer floor jansen (the vakyrie)
This band has a massive following in Europe and the Internet
Nightwish ghost love score wacken open air concert 2013
And prepare for the Nightwish army arriving at the door 🚪 lol 😆
I grew up with Nightwish! Half of my childhood was Nightwish! 👏🏻😀
u should try react to AfterLife instrumental Power Video !
(find the video at other social media site)
Official music video Rinne.
I doubt you will find a bad song. Even those small venues where it was shot with a phone. The sound isn't great on those but their interaction with the audience makes it worth it. In one video Misa shreds and taps on the bass, challenging Kanami in a play off. Don't need to react to them but for your enjoyment.
What do you do when life happens? I think your question got answered after watching the video
so long since I watched your reaction, look firward to your reaction to Wheein's latest solo - Water Color
It’s coming tomorrow! ♥️
@@SigneKruzmane That's really great! Thanks so much in advance.

You should check out Babymetal - Gimme Chocolate. Plus all their stuff. They are amazing.
