Here’s the one for me:
- All-Star Game: even if it’s 5v5 and not the 3v3 tournament, I don’t care
- U20 + Mens World Cup DURING the franchise, I mean, they literally have the IIHF rights, why is that not already a thing?
- Players expressing what they want or what they don’t want during Free Agency (Don’t want to sign in Canada, wanting to be closer to home, getting with a contender, sign the biggest contract possible, etc.)
-A bigger Record book: Why is it only the Top 5 that is shown? I mean, only being Top 100 is a massive W in a career! It should be shown
- Trade protection like in real life: before you get to the negotiations with a team, the player could already say no and completely blocks the trade
i would like them to add 3 team trades
Yeah idk why they can’t add all of the basic stuff that’s in madden and fifa. Add trophy ceremonies, add player wants, add the all star game, and add the winter classic. Like there are certain things that they could add that would actually make you feel like you’re in the nhl world but they won’t and what your left with is menus and pop ups saying you won the art Ross with a crappy trophy cut scene. I want to see my player go up in front of the crowd and have dialogue options like I do with the interviews.

Because offline is non existent to EA. HUT is king. Everything else is garbage. Including the consumers of EAs crap.

You can change teams in franchise mode if you have Owner Mode on
But you can't have full control you sign a contract and you can't just leave and switch I think that's what he's talking about

I completely agree with everything you said. The funny thing is there selling feature on NHL 23 was full customizable franchise mode. I was like finally. I was so excited then I got it to find out that there was nothing at all you could do to customize anything except add or subtract teams and realine the division. Which you could do in NHL 22. So again they did absolutely nothing and just used fancy words to sell there game. I also want them to give us the option to create players in the franchise mode so you can make your own draft class or add a player or two whatever. And also they need to revamp hiring and firing coaches. Once you fire your head couch you have to put one of your assistance coaches in to replace him even if it is temper position. But if you try and hire for the head coach they will turn you down because the position is filled. So you hire them to fit the spot were the the couch that being the temp head coach goes but now you can't move the the coaches around you have to fire the one you use to replace him just to get your guy you want coaching in all the while it completely screws up the morale. It's so stupid. And you should also be able to adjust the coaches line strategy. Or player line preferences. And they should have a clear screen where you can look at the coaches line preferences and see the player line preferences at the same time instead of having to keep going back and forth through all these menus just to get the basic info that you need. I can keep going on forever with all the stuff that they need to change or add like custom logos atleast give us the names of the logos you do put on like the rhinos since they have like 2 or 3 logos of rhinos you would think they would put the name in but no that just an example there are so many more inconsistencies involving that. My comment has gone long enough. Great video I share the same frastration as you plus many more things as well maybe one day they will figure out what the meaning of customization is and actually allow us to have fun with there game instead of buying it playing it. For two weeks and just can't take anymore because of how angry it makes me and then so I shelf it and get my hopes up for the next one which is 11 months away and then the cycle continues.
My own would be this:
• It'd be interesting now to include the upcoming PWHL for 25 or 26, EA already does have an agreement for player likeness and name for the Womens on International Teams with the PWHPA.
• Make the game have more incentives for current-gen players, having the game graphically and better features held back because of holding onto dual support is a bust.
For example: I'm sure it'll be a hassle to have generated heads for generated players on last-gen but current gen could do that just fine.
• Winter Classic Mode, self explanatory.
• Diverse BAP mode, It'd be awesome in between matches to go for practice, do drill mini-games, or even request a trade.
I'm not asking for a NBA 2K or WWE 2k type thing where your character can freely walk around in the mode (althought you can imagine how great that will be) but something where I feel I'm in more control.
As well as, maybe have the option to play a full season in Junior or overseas before the draft, have me do challenges that will guarantee my spot as Number one, or if I keep failing, losing the challenges or not getting points, I slip down in the draft. I can start a BAP rn and if I do nothing, I'm still taken as a number one or two. Doesn't make sense.

Day 14 of requesting a country spin wheel challenge. Including all countries who have nhl players. Meaning you spin the wheel and then it lands on a country that has an NHL player. After that you spin a position wheel and a overall wheel.

I agree with all of your points. What I want to see is fn player faces uploaded frequently. Or at least random generated faces would be nice. Madden does it, I'm sure other games do as well. Having that shadow is just laziness. To top it all off when players retire (With profile pics) and become coaches their profile pic is a shadow.
Fr I agree with you bro. They should also add All Star game and skill tournaments and it's up to you to play it or skip it in Franchise mode. They should allow us to choose what players from our team to go to the all Star games and allow us to choose what players from every other team to go to the All Star. For retired players, allow us to choose what year certain players retired so we can see them. If they were good players and they played on a team for a long time. Retire their jersey number and hang up a banner for them. Same thing for every team that wins the Stanley Cup. They should also show us on the schedule if a team is on a winning or losing streak. And allow us to view old games we played to see our players stats. Allow us to have however many alternate captains on a team. For the Stanley Cup, let's say I won it in 2023 2024, it will show the 2021 2022 Colorado Avalanche as the previous winner fix that or allow us to write who won the Stanley Cup and you guys add the teams roster. Allow us to add new teams to the NHL every 3 years. See all our old schedules, and on the table for points wins and losses, add if a team is on a winning or losing streak. Fix the celebrations and allow us to choose to do a team celebration or not. View other teams previous games and see the players stats. And bring back replays please🙏🙏🙏 Also add professional tryout contracts. Add before game warm-ups. Add player introductions on every teams home opener and introduce the starting lineup for every teams before the game and sing o Canada and Star Spangled Banner
3:50 You can do this, if you turn on owner mode and GM firing I think you have a contract as the GM and can switch teams
Yes!!! Its crazy because you can do all of that stuff (editing) in madden 24 franchise... why not just do the same for nhl franchise

I don't agree with you on being able to change player attributes in franchise mode. That isn't a good feature it is just allowing cheating. Even if you don't use it it makes your hard work feel less valuable because you know that you could've just changed all the player's overalls instead. Also, it isn't even harder to change the attributes beforehand vs. in the mode and if you want to do that you can do that all you want. Being able to change overalls in the mode would be a completely useless and bad feature.
What you said is completely stupid and ridiculous. Like he said in the video it's offline were playing by ourselves if we want to make the whole league 99 we should be able to. Me personally I like to make all the goalies 99 just so that scoring is maybe a little challenging. But even then it's still way to easy to score even with goalie sliders maxed and on superstar. So I guess I'm cheating still against myself by trying to make the game more difficult. So ya your right that shouldn't be in franchise mode let me spend a week editing before I even play a game. Or how about you just don't edit but we have the option.
@@funkyfresh7901 I'm just saying once you start the mode it shouldn't be in it. I guess it is possible to make it harder for yourself but it is also just as possible to make it easier. My biggest issue is that it wouldn't make your accomplishments in franchise seem as good because you could have just edited all the players in the game. Also having the ability to edit in the mode won't make it any easier to edit players and we already have the ability to make the whole league 99 you just have to do it beforehand. The only difference is that maybe you will save a couple of seconds of loading if it were in the mode but that isn't really that big of a deal and the negatives are a lot worse. And if it takes weeks for you to edit you probably aren't doing it right because it is fairly simple.

Completely disagree that Nhl23 was a massive disappointment. Between 21 and 23 this game has made great strides
Dude it's been the same game since NHL 15 with no real changes. Just smoke and mirrors and fancy words to make you think they done something. It's taken no strides. They put pretty little visuals and animations but really have done nothing x factors has no impact in gameplay what so ever expect when you score a goal they added some new animations and visuals. It has no impact on how I score the goal because without it I would have scored just the same. No gameplay difference at all. Might as well have said next gen stats. It's a copy and paste game the only changes is menus screens and added visuals that's it.
