The way father and son should be! I loved astronomy when I was a kid, but my dad didn't care.
i am an addict. My sons couldn't care less.
@Ben Dover Same
you probably dont care at all but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account??
I was dumb forgot my password. I appreciate any help you can offer me
@Jonas Gatlin Instablaster =)
Awesome video and what makes it better is you sharing your interest with you kid. We need more men like you. Real fathers.
Thanks
I just bought these for my son for his birthday! I'm so excited to explore the sky's with him 😊
So happy I found this video. I was actually researching these binoculars which I wanted to buy for astrological viewing but you two are the icing on the cake. Just melted my heart to see how bonded you two are. Best friends for life right there. What a special way to spend quality time with your #1 dude. Not only does your son get that father/son time but he's learning so much. Plus you could use those for other bonding moments like bird watching or looking for animals in general, like a mock safari and he can make a journal writing what you guys found n some facts about it. This though is just wonderful. I can't tell who's more excited. Kudos, dad!
Thanks so much for watching and Im glad we could help! We definitely use these for bird watching and looking at the mountains around our house! We are definitely bestfriends for life! 👊👍
Actually this video needs millions of views. Very nice video
Glad to see you guys are still into astronomy and making great use of those binocs. Hope to see more videos from you in the future when you have time.
Brilliant! Thank you so very much for putting a ton of effort to edit pictures to show us how they look in real-life. And we love how you present it with that real father and son vibe by being you without artificially acting. Very professional yet cool and interesting to watch. Please continue to upload more! You will get authentic viewers and subs in no-time (although that is not the priority)
Thank you for watching!! We started this as a hobby and will upload when we have new info! We try not to make videos with no point to them! Thanks again for watching!!
I love the way the father and son were so into Astronomy together! I had a smile the whole time. You guys did a great presentation!!!
Great review. Made even better watching the connection you guys have. These are the memories he will always treasure
Just starting out myself. I purchased the Celestron binoculars 10 x 50 . Very nice to find your channel. There's alot of stuff coming up in the cosmos this month & I don't wanna miss it! You guys are great...Thanks again
Just ordered a pair of these bino's and now after watching your excellent presentation I can't wait to receive and start viewing your list !! Keep up the videos and thank you for your efforts !
Great Vid Guys! I bought these binocs recently and have been eager to start star hunting. I'll use your list as a starting list! Cheers!
I had these binoculars for Christmas, and yesterday eve I seen orions nebula with them, just under Orion’s Belt, it was amazing! I was also lucky enough in the summer to see comet neowise (?) with a regular pair of binoculars over the top of our garage, I think that was one of my favs! Astronomy with binoculars is definitely under rated! Have fun with the stars!
Thank you! Just bought my Skymaster 25x70s & looking forward to exploring the sky with them! Your video helps a lot, because of expectation setting.
I'm also just beginning to take my 6 yr old son to see the sky with the binoculars. It's amazing when we see the stars and planets. He really enjoys it. Great job guys! I liked your video
Just got these and a tripod in today. I hope I can see even half of what y’all see being in the middle of Dallas. Thanks for making these videos 🙌🏽
You will love them! Thanks for watching :)
Great vid guys. I've been contemplating getting these bins for my brother, and this video has persuaded me that this is the right option. :)
Just came across this looking for Reviews re. Binoculars (was actually looking for Reviews on the Celestron 20x80 if Amy one had any comments), and this was by far the best and most thought-out, honest Review which answered all the down to earth practical questions swarming around my mind. Many thanks guys.
Good to see you guys back, like your videos, pretty helpful for beginners. I've just bought a cheap 60mm refractor telescope (700mm focal length), which will be delivered within 2 weeks. Eagerly waiting for both my first telescope and your upcoming videos. Cheers.
I've been thinking about big binoculars for a while now and that video just sealed the deal. I'm getting the 25x power ones. Thanks guys!
Thanks for watching!!!
You guys are fantastic! What a great father son bond you have! Stay safe. I admire thr love of the sky you have, it’s also my hobbie 😊
I trully enjoyed this video! Congrats and keep up with the astronomy!
I love you guys! I just got the skymaster 25x100 for my partner. We're excited. But you have inspired me. You are a wealth of knowledge and experience. I'll be looking for these visions. Can't wait!
Thank you for watching and let us know what you think!!!
thank you so much, i was thinking there was no reviews that had content like yours i.e. exactly what a potential buyer of the mentioned binoculars. absolutely exactly the info i was hoping to see.
just wish all product reviews for any product took the approach you guys have and that's explaining but also showing what you could expect to get from the product as opposed to the majority of reviews just stating opinions and some, probably most are simply regurgitating something they read or heard etc. so, again thanks for keeping reviews honest and useful.
Thank you!! We had the same questions and noone had the answers so I'm glad this helps!!
Thank you. I was in the process of buying these or similar but was wondering if it was worth it as I wasn't sure what I could actually see. This video has clarified that for me and I realise it is absolutely worth it! I had no idea that you could see the whirlpool galaxy, for example and I'm sure there are many other surprises out there.
Great idea for a video as most of them don't give a realistic impression of what to expect.
Excellent video guys!! Exactly what I was looking for.
Good video guys. Keep them coming. Love from England.
Thanks! Will do!
Great idea dad, to do this startup. Luckily, your son will see more colours than you, you lose some colour vision as you get older, so it's wonderful he has started on this journey with you.
And also Lagoon nebula 👌
Its one of my favourites!!
Great stuff. My kids have me these bins for fathers day to rekindle an old hobby. I'm use these to go find stuff. Keep doing these, very helpful for me. 🙂😄😎😎
Just got a used set of these binos. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and pics of stars, planets and DSO that you can make out with them. Appreciate your work on this video! Very helpful.😃
Best review of these and sold me on them. Thanks!
Thanks for the real images thru these binocs. I'm impressed.
Amazing review just bought the whole setup ended up getting the 20x80 keep up the amazing work!
Thats awesome! Glad you like them also!!
You two are stars yourselves!
Thank you :)
My father gave me my first astronomy book; the old ‘50s version of the “Field Guide to Stars and Planets” a great paperback-size with charts and more…He wasn’t really an astronomer himself, but we would also go to the Adler Planetarium in Chicago for sky shows. My dad was a golfer from birth 😄 but he knew that I loved the sky and since I was too young to play golf, we went to sky shows instead. 😀😀
Thank you for this amazing video! You guys rock it.
I just bought my 25x70, let's see what I can observe in Brazil's sky!
Let us know! Clear skies!
nice to watch the continuation of your first video
Great review. Placed my Amazon order today.
Hope you enjoy them!
This video is easily the most well-made review of these binoculars! All the other reviews I've seen pale in comparison (they're always so vague, poorly put together, and quite useless honestly). Showing the edited pictures to depict a similar view to what you would actually see was really nice, and definitely worth the effort! And both of you giving input on each view was really informative too!
I've been eyeing these binoculars for a while now, as my first dive into astronomy, and this video is what made me pull the trigger. These & a similar tripod will be arriving soon, and I can't wait to start viewing the sky :)
By the way, how's the light pollution near you? I live in a Bortle 6 area, with nearby access to a Bortle 5 boardwalk/beach. Hopefully the views will still be decent if it's higher than what you guys have.
That is awesome!! We live in utah and have really dark skies here!! We are lucky!! Im sure you will still be impressed where you live!
Thank you so much from Germany!
Love your work guys!
Thanks for watching!
Well done guys and thank you 👍
Fantastic review and demonstration! Can you zoom in and out, depending on what you are looking at (like for more terrestrial viewing during the day)? If so, how much can you zoom out?
Thanks!
Thanks you two
From Nicaragua
Great video guys, many thanks.
NICE WORK GUYS...............THANKS
Fantastic video... very informative and you guys are so likeable too! Bless you and thank you for taking the time to create and share this video...😍
Thanks so much for watching!
Mine is being delivered to day for a photography/spotting shoot of the Milky Way, and maybe some Persieds! You two make a great pair! Cheers!
Excellent video, I congratulate you, you have encouraged me more to buy those binoculars. Greetings from Chile!
You guys are awesome, keep doing it. I need those binoculars, just too bad I‘m in the center of light pollution.
This is a really cool video …. Thanks for sharing
How long do you take this photos? is that one shot or maybe stacked 30 shots to one image? Cool video. That show's me what gear i need to start astro adventure. Thanks so much
Awesome video. I have these binoculars. I’ve been so busy with photography I’m missing out on so much. Thanks for the video 👍🏼
Thanks for watching!
Hi, what was used along with the binoculars to calture these photos?
I assume a lens camera/smartphone mount of some sort?
Also ready if using a tripod get the celestron metal one?
Whats it like viewing the night sky lying down by hand?
Thanks a lot for that video , it’s amazingly helpful ... will defiantly buy it for my husband
Thanks for providing realistic images of what to expect. I find that is a rare thing in other videos. My son is interested and I'm a bit scared that his expectations are set to high. but it's cool to see "the younger dude" getting excited even though it doesn't look like something out of a magazine.
Yea we actually went to an observatory before buying anything as thats where the expectation was set and we were still super excited to see more! Thanks for watching!
@@2dudesastronomy40 that’s my plan as well. We have a local club with access to an observatory. But corona has stopped all meetups for now. Hopefully we can do it next year.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I’m just about to buy these.
Great vid guys. How did you manage to take these photos? Epic
Great video, love seeing you with your son as astronomy is an amazing hobby. I have just been getting into astronomy (have been wanting to for years), and just purchased a 25-125 x 80mm celestron pair of binoculars. Just got them this week, so haven't had a chance to spend much time with them yet. But, was curious why you didn't include Venus or Mars? Were they at a location that wasn't visible from Utah?
Thank you for the kind words and for watching! We just picked our fav top 10! You can see both Venus and Mars from Utah but we didn't include them this round!
Awesome Father and Son and great info as well. Im still a newbie in Astronomy. I have 25x70 celestron skymaster and 10x50 nikon binos. This weekend il try look up the Philippine sky. Thanks
Great video. It's been cloudy, because they are spraying chems like their is no tomorrow.
Thanks it really helped me form an expectation. With the magnification you showed from Jupiter I hope I can find a way to reduce the brightness through filters so I can make out the colors.
That is mindbending, that you can see 20+ million light years into the past.
Fake news, You're in for a rude awakening
@@pocho3881 flattard? Really? Grow up and learn some basic science. In real life, sun goes down the horizon, it doesn't become small and small till it fades. And besides, your models don't coincide with eachother. And you need more than one model to explain different phenomenas. It's not like we live in different worlds simultaneously.
@@pocho3881 You crazies are still into the flat earth BS?
Great video!
Thank's a Lot!!!
so awesome! thank you
Right on!
I remember when I was that age, I was so amazed by the sky's and space, I remember getting up early in the morning to look at comet West in the 70's ☄That would be perfect for those Binos
.... thank you for the video ....
love this video
@2Dudes Astronomy. How does the 25x70 binocs compare to the Hexeum 50x700 telescope in viewing quality. Thanks
I think it's GREAT that you and your son are doing this together. I am curious...did you take these pictures with your binoculars? I would be interested in seeing your photo setup if possible. Maybe another video? I have the big brother to your binocs...the 25x100.
Great video. I hope you make more.
Great video! Just wanted to know how you captured the images? I have a Gosky Universal Cell Phone Adapter and my images haven't turned out well. Any advice and the question is open to anyone.
Hi, thanks for this great vid! I’m looking at getting my dads these but the 20x80 I have no idea what I’m doing but have been told they’re good.. would these ones be better or just different ? Thanks
I dont think your going to notice a difference for the most part! They are pretty similar in what you will see!
Very good
Cheers lads
This kid is so well spoken! Very impressive!
Thank you!!
Are these good for birdwatching too?
Which camera did you use to capture the pictures? I have used my mobile phone.. but it is pain in the ass. Lol
I love space and the Andromeda galaxy is my favorite too you guys rock
Great video guys, I’ll be placing my order after watching this! Are all the photos of the top 10 taken through the lens of the binoculars? Cheers
No as the pictures thru the lens don't do justice to what you can actually see. Kind like the moon when you take a pic and show your friends and it looks like a dot lol Thanks for watching!
Good stuff
Hello, brand new subscriber here! Hubby is star Gazing with Olympus 10 x 50 Binoculars n will NOT purchase the Celestron SKYMASTER 25x100 Binoculars UNTIL he has found all 10 TARGETS listed n this video. The Wild Duck Cluster, Hercules Cluster n the Whirlpool Galaxy r his last three remaining targets. He turned me on Astronomy which I am totally loving n ur awesome channel too; great work guys err....DUDES! Keep up the good work n stay safe! Soraya n Rob n New Jersey
That is awesome!! Thank you so much for being a part of the channel!! I hope you guys find all of them!!
What are your bortle class skies? btw amazing video!
Nice video!!
man i hope my little guy loves the stars as much as i do great hobby to build on your bond with your son 👍
It's awesome to share with your kids!!
Hi. Just wondering if these binoculars will good for use on sceneries, bird watching etc
Absolutely!! We watch birds and look and the mountains all the time!
I got a pair of these after seeing this video. I see great stuff i got the tripod and everything i also got a pair of celestron binoculars to look at the sun and another pair of svbony SV206 Porro Binocular
Very nice video very well explained. I got a couple of questions did you order the binoculars and the cellphone adapter using the link on the description? I believe I already have the same binoculars but would like to get a cellphone adapter for it. Thanks a lot.
That we did! The binos came with the tripod mount when got them but have that linked as well!
@@2dudesastronomy40 I appreciate your help, God Bless.
Orions nebulae is my favorite by far! And like you said some of these things you can see with the naked eye. I found the nebulae while looking at Saturn and Jupiter. But I found Orions nebulae by eye. And the binoculars are amazing! I take them out with my telescopes every night I go out.
They are so under rated!! Glad you like them as much as us!!
great job, guys... we just got these binoculars... having a hard time focusing them... the right eye is good... the left eye isn't focusing.. any suggestions?
Im not sure you can do much for that, might have to exchange them for a new set :(. Give them a call and see what they say!
Thanks a lot for the video, i want to stargaze with my daughter but as you said in your first video, most reviews are geeking around the specs of telescope. I like that I can have a feel for what we can actually see with the binoculars. Tx
Hey guys awesome video just curious how did you track these objects is it just by star hopping?
Tracking as in finding them or keeping them in view? We have watched they sky so much we know where most common things are but we do use sky map for things we cant find!
one doubt.. I did buy this and finding it difficult to fix to my tripod.. I do have that one piece of attachment from the binocular box.. need help !!
Thanks, Dudes. Appreciated the review and the pictures! I’m just now thinking of buying some good binoculars. I was looking at the 25X70 and 25X100. I’ve read the 100 might result in too bright a background and the 75 will give me more satisfaction. I like your background. If you have ever tried the 100, do you have an opinion? Nice job! I’m in Utah also so I hope we see the same sky.
When I had a 120mm refractor scope, it had a l20 lens cap with a second cap fitted which was about 70mm. So with the cap fitted and small cap removed I was able to observe the moon without been too bright. I was wondering if similar caps are available for binos.
Are the photos u show made with this product?
Guys, that was really cool! I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of binoculars, and these are the ones for me. What about Venus and Mars? Ever check them out? Thanks!
That binoculars is HUGE!
Brilliant! Do you have any tips to ensure being able to see as much as you have? Myself & 28yr old son got these binos in Aug, I'm still finding them difficult to use, to see beyond the moon?!
Hello, So it starts with where you live. If your in a light pollution filled area try going to a darker area! Start by looking at the brightest star and focus them. I highly recommend a tripod as you have to scan the sky really slowly and be able to spot quickly when you find your target. Start with Saturn and Jupiter as these are super easy to find a view!
@@2dudesastronomy40 Thank you, on a clear nite, can see stars well... will have get at it more & see what we can find!
