the necklace and the scarf was the move! You look like a classical art muse, or a disgruntled seamstress judging one of those british competition shows where people break down over princess seams or pattern matching.
There are earrings made with plastic posts. I can't vouch for them personally since I've never tried them, but I'd say they’re worth looking into if it means you can experience the joy of earrings!
Moriarty as the sexy priest was a diabolical choice i will never forgive and never forget. That man talking about foxes awakened something in me that should've stayed asleep.
I actually don’t know what you’re talking about and I’m anxiously awaiting her reference this but I chuckled at this comment lol you’re great at writing
I am obsessed with this video. Everything about it is so East Coast to me in the best way. The sarcastic french affectation, the square neck, the silk scarf, the silver stud-but-also-dangley earing, the Sarah Lawrence, the priest thing. It's all so beautifully New England to my California eyes. A masterpiece. (also this isn't me making fun, I truly genuinely love the vibe!
Nisa!!!! I find the secret with wearing necklaces and square necklines is to have the charm fall in the center of the “square” that is formed. Otherwise it looks too busy. K back to watching the video ❤ u
As a fellow jeans hater, I stopped wearing them about 2 years ago. the solutions are flowy trousers, cargos (made from cotton instead of denim), or, continuing the flowy theme, a long billowy skirt. I have never once looked back on my decision to stop wearing jeans. hope this helps my fellow jeans haters
We have such a similar background like same age, similar college/grad school experiences etc. That it absolutely boggles my mind how great your memory is. Every time you mention something that happened in middle school, it sparks a forgotten memory for me. Also the fact that you can remember what specific clothing pieces you owned and when you wore them is honestly…impressive
not the "footage not found" for the peplums 😭 i suffer this too bc outside high fashion unwearable clothing i cannot find a peplum shirt that looks good unstylished. They are not criminal in theory, yet sometimes i have to really try to keep defending them to myself, not even to others.
i feel like with peplums you have to be superrr intentional with the silhouette, like in a way where it seems kind of impractical as an actual wardrobe piece. feel like you have to build the entire outfit around it and then Maybe
I still remember the first time I had a terrible time shopping for clothes. I was in elementary school and I went back to school shopping with my mom. I tried on so many pairs of jeans that day that didn’t fit comfortably or look right on me and I was so upset. It’s so vivid, I honestly think it was a core memory for me and set the tone for my body image issues to come. I wish I could go tell little me that everyone struggles to find good jeans. My favorite jeans (at least appearance wise) are Levi’s ribcage straight jeans. They must be called that because you’ll break your ribcage if you sit too long while wearing them 😭
Absolutely, the funniest video on this world's internet! I was wheeze-crying the whole way through😆 I don't understand how you don't have over two million subs yet!! Incroyablè!🤩
As someone with an utterly unreasonable number of sundresses as well as religious trauma, I can't even be mad at the final award. I'm politely clapping in the audience, blinking back a tear 👏👏👏
You look radiant! I don’t think the necklace was necessary I feel like the neck line was the sort of focal point but it wasn’t a detractor. The headscarf moving in almost every single cut made me chuckle and it looks great. I could not help but watch about 50 percent of the video through the little funhouse mirror on your wall. An excellent addition to your video catalogue thank you Miss Pisa.
The segment about jeans was so real, it really is emotional violence having to try them on, there is ALWAYS something that goes wrong, as a slightly chubby “big boned” man, it’s insane the amount of times my day has been ruined because jeans don’t fit or because they feel extremely uncomfortable. and yes, they look too good and classic / casual to just stop wearing. It fkn sucks but I wouldn’t trade it for a theme
I just got my first silk scarf last week and have experience the struggle of the slippage! But have also found that wearing it as a necktie is surprisingly cute, just slight vintagey vibes but I’ve made it work with modern fits, both work clothes and jeans☺️
19:01 had to look up that wikipedia article bc i was like "no way..." AND IT WAS REAL. also the look you turned this video was stunning, though no surprise i guess
The only clothing store I get jeans from is White House Black Market. Their sizing is very consistent and good quality. They have petite/normal/tall and curvy sizing. They put a little bit of spandex in it so there's some stretch. They're pricey, but I do think they're worth it (plus they do have sales and stores I've been to had clearance racks). I am 5'6 and their normal jeans are the perfect length. They specify "ankle" pants when you're buying from the website so you know if they're going to be shorter than normal. They offer detailed garment dimensions and size charts on all items. Everything is washable (that I've bought). It's a woman-owned company and it shows in the way they tailor their clothes. And the depths of their pockets are to die for. I can fit my entire phone in my pocket.
the way that i was SURE the unintentionally sexy award was going to go to women in basic ass tank tops and then it was priest outfits......stunned lesbian silence
I have an extra addition to the hot priest litany: Idris Elba as a hot DRUNK FRENCH priest in Ghost Rider 2. Is that movie also terrible, just like Angels and Demons? Yes. Was 16 year old me PRESSED to my laptop screen while watching it? Also yes. Does drunk french priest Idris Elba also drive a motorcycle in that movie? You're welcome.
crocs are the only shoes that comfortable to stand in for me, i wear them to work everyday (retail). tbh they're my default shoes unless the weather is bad or i actually wanna look cute so ur WRONG they are comfy!!
thank you for bravely speaking out abt crocs. i also really dislike them (they’re not even comfy!!) and my wife loves them and has 4 pairs. it’s truly devastating lmao
Oh no I was actually so excited for you having a sponsored video and then to be tricked like that 😭 I was going to watch the damn ad for you and everything 🤦♀️ lmaooo love the necklace tho looking gorgeous as always!!!!
I have watched Angels and Demons because not only Ewan MacGregor is a priest but Stellan Skarsgard is in it as well, as playing a priest in a couple of Exorcist sequels. I have a folder on my HD: Hot Priests in Terrible Movies, angels and demons is in that folder...
Try putting on a velour headband underneath the scarf - make sure the velour gets rough if you brush it towards the back of your head. It'll help a little with the scarf slipping and if you're careful you can even slip a little sewing pin or two through it (though I understand you mightn't wanna do that with a luxury brand vintage scarf)
I've been wearing crocs since like 2010- they've literally been my every day shoe for like over a decade and I am so thankful that they're more "fashionable" again so i don't feel like such an old millennial lol
Also the take on millennials vs Gen z, spot on. I'm an elder millennial who is aging gracefully so I don't care but also I love making fun of my own cohort (as well as all the others)
hard agree about crocs!!! like you said they're not even comfortable and that's like the main excuse people make for wearing them. they don't deserve normalization.
The fact that the silk scarf, though beautiful, was slowly but surely slipping down this entire video is both hilarious & proves your point 😂😂😂😂
you saying "buying jeans and swim suits are emotional violence" was the realest shit ever
the sun streaks are really working in your favor
"is it busy" no such thing. maximise accessories. you rock it
The scarf was the accessory answer all along! It's giving girl with a pearl earring
the necklace and the scarf was the move! You look like a classical art muse, or a disgruntled seamstress judging one of those british competition shows where people break down over princess seams or pattern matching.
"Nursing major stores" 💀
What does this mean ?!??
Earrings DO care if i have a metal allergy!!!
I dunno, sounds like the earrings are trying to be there for you and you aren't letting them in to your heart 😢
There are earrings made with plastic posts. I can't vouch for them personally since I've never tried them, but I'd say they’re worth looking into if it means you can experience the joy of earrings!
So true, and is why i decided to stretch my ears because the material theyre made out of doesnt itch 👀
You got a nickel allergy bestie!! It's in stainless steel, surgical steel and - yes - also often silver. Titanium is your best friend!
Moriarty as the sexy priest was a diabolical choice i will never forgive and never forget. That man talking about foxes awakened something in me that should've stayed asleep.

i love watching nisa because english is not my first language and every new video makes me learn new fun word
"Image not found" for cute peplums, omg yes 😂

the hoodie around the waist also did SERVICE for those of us early menstruators who were not well prepared in life 🫡🫡🫡
OK, the cattle sewing up a hole in delicate fabric metaphor for trying on jeans was so real
Nisa!!!! I find the secret with wearing necklaces and square necklines is to have the charm fall in the center of the “square” that is formed. Otherwise it looks too busy.
K back to watching the video ❤ u
The comment about James Joyce being a little freak made me laugh harder than it should have.

i cannot think about midnight mass in a normal way in any scenario. i'm glad you understand

Ugh, jeans, so true. ANY change in my body, including just getting bloated over the course of the same day, means they no longer fit right
A petition for Nisa to release an unedited version ✨
Petition for Nisa to release the directors cut on Patreon!
I agree! Also omg she’s so freaking pretty and charming and smart omg. The actual queen of UA-cam !
“Nursing major stores” is so vividly and biblically accurate…I can picture it 😭
Watching your reflection in the YT plaque is an artistic experience 😂❤
necklace, yes. junji ito, yes. jeans, get fricked. wearing clothes, love it.
Those sleeves, that scarf, you ❤
edit: 100% in agreement on square necklines

I wailed at the buying a pair of jeans for hundreds of dollars than gaining a pound lol I’m on the floor
Not me thinking the unintentionally sexy item was gonna be a long white nightgown
15:48 Homophobic jeans
+ Nisa looks STUNNING in this one!! The scarf & the makeup are AMAZING
Absolutely, the funniest video on this world's internet! I was wheeze-crying the whole way through😆 I don't understand how you don't have over two million subs yet!! Incroyablè!🤩
Agreed. Shopping for and WEARING swimsuits, jeans, and bras are equivalent forms of hell. unless you get it righttt
As someone with an utterly unreasonable number of sundresses as well as religious trauma, I can't even be mad at the final award. I'm politely clapping in the audience, blinking back a tear 👏👏👏
i heavily agree with earings
Nisa I've been here for 4 years and THIS look... 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉I
6:16 omg I was NOT expecting The Enigma of Amigara Fault 😂
your outfit looked really good in this video ms. nisa. incredibly whimsical.
Yes!! Priest outfits are so sexy on the right man.

The silk scarf hack I've learned is two hair pins on either side, she's not moving

I've been wearing crocs since like 2010- they've literally been my every day shoe for like over a decade and I am so thankful that they're more "fashionable" again so i don't feel like such an old millennial lol

hard agree about crocs!!! like you said they're not even comfortable and that's like the main excuse people make for wearing them. they don't deserve normalization.
For the necklace - I think it would work better with a shorter chain!
very amazing relatable video
Me just discovering Madewell and loving it 😮
