The only and probably first Indian female singer who break the dilemma for not to sing alike Lata Mangashker's sweet and low pitch tone like every other Indian female singer used to sing in Lata's tone like Alka Yagnik or Sherya Ghoshal....She sings in her original husky voice and ruled the hearts of billions. She is so talented even we can compare her singing vocal qualities with Mariah Carey and Celine Dion or even with late Withney Huston

Just one point to add - Lata Mangeshkar had the supremacy to sing both low and high pitch without going cracky. She sang many songs of so high pitch also by maintaining the same melody of her voice and with perfect Sur!
