She didn’t ruin his life. She realised they weren’t right together and broke up with him which is perfectly reasonable. It wasn’t nice for her to insult him, but it’s possible he’s rephrasing it eg. “I want to do more than just stay in every night” = lazy. If he had really loved her then he would want her to be alive and happy and would donate the kidney. Letting someone die is not okay. Also I thought it was a red flag at the beginning when he’s like “we did everything together” like get ur own hobbies that’s unhealthy.

Letting someone die is 100% okay if saving them requires a lifelong detriment. Also, the more he loved her, the more the insults would hurt, and the more betrayed he would feel, of course he’s hesitant to donate a kidney. Lastly, she did ruin his life, it’s not her fault that his life revolved around her, but the fact of the matter is that she was his whole life and she removed herself from it.

Good reason not to go through with putting yourself through a highly invasive surgery.
It literally is tho lol, imagine someone is drowning while telling you "come save me you worthless subhuman ect ect", now take in the risk factor of trying to save someone from drowning without training, still probably not as bad of a risk going through surgery, best case scenario you're operating on one kidney for the rest of your life.

that’s not the reason? donating his kidney requires pretty invasive surgery, and even if he survives that he’ll live with only one kidney for his entire life. not to mention he’d lose his other kidney should he experience complications during recovery. he’s essentially risking his life to save somebody who called him just to insult him.
There are plenty of people who need kidney why dont you go out and test if you match with someone and donate yours.
