Very very good lesson. There aren't many teachers on youtube who understand music so fundamentally they can present it so concisely. I was on my fifth video when I gave up and started to analyze arpeggio charts to do this myself and your video came up. I'm not really into very technical music but I've been playing since 16 and my ears are getting tired. I don't know how this only has 14k views. Thank you!
Seriously these videos are so easy to understand and I love the visual demonstrations showing the chord positions names sheet music positions as well as tabiture all-in-one place. Bravo 👏
Thnk u sir for ur lovely video..... I have seen lot of videos regarding triad but they always put me in dilemma. But now no more confusion will be there.... Bcz ur video opened my locked mind. Ur every video makes me better understand. I love it.
On the bottom four string of the C spread triad for G/C.. You can use the E note on the 2nd string.. instead of stretching all the way down on the E note of the 3rd string..
Excellent like always Rob!!! So, I have been using these for a long time now but did not know the correct name haha....thanks for making this absolutely Crystal Clear! I am a very happy and proud Patron!!! Best channel ever!!!
@@QJamTracks yes Rob, definitely a great tool...and now thanks to you I have even more ways to use it. I love all the examples but of course the rock one just melted my soul hahaha!!!

This knowledge is fantastic, and unlocks a whole other level. I'm hoping I can use this (like your example) to solo more melodically and purposefully. I would like to see this knowledge combined with modal interchange? Cannot thank you enough.
If anyone, like myself, got super confused at 5:16 when a "simple chord progression" shows up : we work up to this point learning triads in C major, and basically practising the C major scale. But then this chord progression comes in, and it's got nothing to do with C major... I was confused right of the bat as to why that Bm didn't have the diminished 5th I had just practised playing. Turns out, if I'm not mistaken, that it's a chord progression in B m Phrygian mode (!!) because, it sounds nice I suppose, but would have been useful to say it. Although it was also great to be thrown off balance and having to work it out...but maybe that'll help someone, and if I'm wrong, it's not Phrygian, I'd love to be corrected.
7:20 - 7:32 there is a mistake in the diagram is for F and G triad.. if F is the root in the F triad then it should be depicted as 5th string 8th fret instead of interpreting C in the 10th fret on the 4th string in the F triad.. same thing goes for the G.. It creates confusion..
I came up with this myself long ago (I think). Maybe it sounds like song, but I did not have that in mind... If you remember it, I would like to know! :)
Good tutorial. However a couple of mistakes: 6:44 last chord should be at the 10th fret not the second. Also 7:08 editing fail: wrong audio synced with video.
@@QJamTracks So glad to be in touch with you. Been working on the spread triads. Never really used them before. As I work through your fingerings I've noticed there are alternative fingerings that can be used in lieu of the big stretches. Don't get me wrong, I like the big stretches but just interesting to deduce the options. You're a good teacher!

Hey rob please it will do us alot of good if you make a tutorial about classical music on guitar
Thank you so much for sharing your hard work, you are an angel doing the work of God, seriously

As always, unbelievably thorough and well presented content. There is enough here to keep coming back to several times. Many thanks as always.
Nice lesson! Thank you!
Really great teacher and player. Thank you to combine this with classical music too. It is all link and i like that.
Awesome as usual!

Hey Rob, Great lesson! I'd love to hear your slant on pitch axis theory. Could be a great lesson. Cheers...
Hey Realpool. Thanks I'll put pitch axis theory on my list :)
@@QJamTracks Thank you sir!
Wow great lesson love your channel 👍🎸
started with a backing track, came here, subbed 2 minutes in
excelent as usual.
Everyone has a eureka moment mine IS AS WE SPEAK spread triads. I see the relationships much clearer Now. Quickly. Compared to regular triads
At 12:35, the 5th was dropped 2 octaves, not one.
It is also not clear what the definition of inversion is when considering spread triads.
Thank you for your great informative videos!
Usefull and cool 👍
Very good tutorial. Can you please start using larger tabs? They are way too small.
I'll try :)
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. LESSON.......................VEEEEEEEEEEEEERY NICE
for the second major C inversion you can do an easier shape:
8
-
9
-
10

Hello great video ! warning 7:28 F CHORD ROOT CASE ix ; not case X
7:20 - 7:32 there is a mistake in the diagram is for F and G triad.. if F is the root in the F triad then it should be depicted as 5th string 8th fret instead of interpreting C in the 10th fret on the 4th string in the F triad.. same thing goes for the G..

Amazing lesson as always!! keep it up!! 👍🏻
At 6:46 the root position diagram is marked II, but I think it should be XI. Right? I'm a beginner, maybe I'm missing something
Oh wait, I think it's X
great lesson, love your overdrive guitar sound, what effects are you using
What is the song at 11:42? It's on the tip of my tongue.
I came up with this myself long ago (I think). Maybe it sounds like song, but I did not have that in mind... If you remember it, I would like to know! :)
Wow!
Amazing stuff, thank you for sharing

Hi Adlai. Thanks for pointing out the errors. it's no excuse but with so many graphics and examples is hard to get everything flawless...
