Sorry to hear that. I'd reach out to Rep first if you haven't already. I've gotten cable from Amazon before but I'm not sure how strong they are. I think getting a replacement from Rep is your best bet so you can get the exact length.
Only the crossmembers for width are Rogue to match the width of the Rhino-- So the top rear and the one in the front with the adjustable pullup handles. All else is Rep.
I can get a 30° but the back pad is so long on the AB-5200 that my butt doesn't reach the seat. So, I'm gonna have to work off the safeties as jcups or just use dumbbells like I usually do for incline work. Any suggestions?

Do you think I will be limiting the functionality of rhino by a lot if I place feet against the wall?? I already have a selectorized functional trainer and selectorized titan lat pull down machine. For the most part. Any attachments that connect at two points on the same upright may not align properly-- such as the Rogue Monolifts 1.0. They fit my rep uprights and are usable, but the holes don't align at the bottom to properly secure them.
Not trying to make your rack a Frankenstein machine but I believe bells of steel went with the same dimensions as Rogue specifically so all their attachments could go on Rogue racks. I might in one of my full length vlogs. I'll say, the uprights need to be taller than 80" to get full ROM and not have to sit on the floor.
@TheCarterHomeGym iam really thinking about droping rhino into a squat rack with surplus system to condense. I am thinking about selling my selectorized lat pull down which I like a lot. I don't know if I will like going from selectorized to plate loading for lat pull downs though. I feel I will be downgrading:(
I added a sauna and the rhino belt squat to gym and waiting for isolator too. So I wanna make some space.
@@futbol1972 The movement is very smooth like a commercial unit. The downside is the setup time. The upside is the space saved. I'll say again, want taller uprights for it. Otherwise, it's not worth it.
Thank you for the video! How much room do you need off the back of the rack to be able to add a 45lb plate to the rhino? I am wanting to add a rhino to my rack but the back of a rack is against a wall so i want to see what the tightest tolerance I can get away with.
Thanks for watching! You're gonna need about 2 feet, maybe a little less to be able load and unload the trolly tower. I can give you a more accurate measurement when I get home if you want.
@@TheCarterHomeGym yes please!
@@MrJkillahoe415 So, depending on the size of your 45's you're gonna need at least about 28" from the rear upright. My 45's are 16" in diameter. Hope this helps!
Very nice!!!
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Whar size of crissmembers are you using on the isolator set up??? Iam debating between using 17" or 24" crossmembers to attach my short rhino upright to it.
Do you think using a short rhino upright with two 17" or 24" crossmembers attach straight to wall studs should work to .ount rhino?? Should i bolt rhhino upright to floor for extra stability??
Iam droping rhino into 90" manticore bos rack and i will have 4 extra rhino short uprights plus the rhino feet and teying to figuer out what to do with them
30". Bolting it to the floor I think would be best. I'm not sure you'll get enough stability otherwise.
@TheCarterHomeGym so ur using a single uprigjt with two 30" crossmembers attach to a stud on wall and the upright is bolted to the ground?
Any issues with the mats moving around on the rhino?
Not really. They do shift slightly over time, but they don't slide around or anything.
Did you only need to cut the corners? Did you have to trim the sides at all?
@@toddwalter8438 just the corners. The sides hang off the edge like 1/2" but I wasn't worried about that.
do you know any places that you can get cables for repfitness ares mines broke or any stronger cables than the ones they provided?
Sorry to hear that. I'd reach out to Rep first if you haven't already. I've gotten cable from Amazon before but I'm not sure how strong they are. I think getting a replacement from Rep is your best bet so you can get the exact length.
So the uprights are REP, but all the crossmembers are Rogue?
Only the crossmembers for width are Rogue to match the width of the Rhino-- So the top rear and the one in the front with the adjustable pullup handles. All else is Rep.
@@TheCarterHomeGymare those Rogue crossmembers for the width sold separately?
@@azrinijohari3990 Yes
@@TheCarterHomeGymI assume you are using the XM-43 top for the top rear and the XM-43R in the front?

What is your "bullet proof" machine, the red machine who can make seal row with Handel or just barbell or dumbell reverse hyper and more?
The Bulletproof Isolator
Thanks you use it with a ghd? What is the video in the back for the presentation of this tool
Je red machine for seal row, reverse hyper is the same no?
Yeah definitely gotta get those taller front uprights so your not smacking your head on those pieces.
Yeah, I'm surprised I haven't knocked myself out yet 😂 I'm always having to duck around that area so it's super annoying.
Do you have enough room for 30 degree incline off the front or only 15?
I can get a 30° but the back pad is so long on the AB-5200 that my butt doesn't reach the seat. So, I'm gonna have to work off the safeties as jcups or just use dumbbells like I usually do for incline work. Any suggestions?
@@TheCarterHomeGym people I have talked to in the past say it’s possible with the lever arms in front adding 3 more inches. I’ve also seen somebody be able to use it with mono lifts. Have you tried that?
@@jl7kicks That's worth a shot. That reminds me, I have some offset rack attachments from XII-XI before they went out of buisness. That might add another 6 inches also. Thanks!
Nice rack bro
A shame about the ceiling height but you've done pretty well here all things considered, love the hacks the Rhino offers
I have ceiling issues in my garage too, but I'm moving on my rack due to a lack of attachments available for it as bugger all suppliers in Australia sell 2x3 5/8s hardware racks compared to America/Canada like Titan which would've been compatible but they're not available here, REP only just started selling here on a limited line.
But yeah watching these videos does give me ideas of what I could target
Thanks man. I ended up buying some taller uprights and cutting them down to about 88" to get as much height as possible. All is well now. It fixed all my problems.
I saw Rep is expanding to Australia. That's really cool for you guys. They have some great equipment!
Good luck with your new rack build!
@@TheCarterHomeGym good to hear mate, yeah REP only have the PR4000 and PR5000 in that 80 inch height available here which is no good for me (I have an 89 inch rack, can probably get 91-92)
Rogue took ages to bring out the Monster version here too, only had the Infinity and Monster Lite versions for years. Those 50 CAL Jammer arms are like $2200 here for example, a bit steep
He is back! Ok. Look.... I don't typically ask this kind of stuff.... but what the hell do you do for a living that you can own a commercial gym in your house? Give us your secrets. how tall should I get my rack in case I decide to drop in rhino? my ceilings are 8ft high

How would this set up work with a 6 post rep rack ?
Could you be a little more specific? I mean, it would work well, depending on the dimensions of your rack. I did it this way to maximize floor space. It would work best with a Rogue rack, but it would be doable with a REP rack as well.
@@TheCarterHomeGym sorry I did mean a rep 6 post rack.30 inch in the back 43 in the front . 93 inches tall . I’ve read that usually double hole attachments don’t line up well between rogue and rep . I’m specifically thinking about the name plate in the middle . Would a rogue one fit ?
@@OscarGonzalez-pc4lx Sure, that configuration should work. As far as the double hole attachments, that was my original concern about the compatability of the two brands. The 2nd hole on my Rogue monolifts don't align properly on my REP uprights. But I didn't have issues with any of this build not properly aligning. I used a Rogue middle (width) crossmember in this build, and it works.
Someone is selling one here locally for a great price really considering it
Man, it's really been a game changer for me, especially with my low back injuries I've had. It's more versatile than I originally realized also.
Did u have to do any modifications to mount rhino into the 30" rep rack? I know iam gonna have to cut the rhino plate if I end up droping it into 30" rep.5000 athenas. Do you think there will be any restrictions with the rhino and athenas set up? I know the athenas weight stacks will be in the way of some exercises probably
@@futbol1972 Nope
Would there be any advantages for me if I drop rhino in rack? I already have a titan selectorized lat pull down and a functional trainer. By the way I been debating between squat max and Rhino for a while
Having it in a rack adds some versatility but also saves space if you use it as your primary rack like I have. I know you've been debating on the Rhino and Squat max. We've talked about it on fb.
Hoe u doing bro? I finally decided and bought the stand alone rhino😁 iam finishing up putting it together. I have a slope on garage so I don't know if I should level it or not
@@futbol1972 I saw! Congrats. I never even checked to see if mine is level. I guess having it as level as possible is ideal but unless it's on a significant slope, I don't think it matters too much.
@TheCarterHomeGym thank u I have another question. What do you think if I put the feet facing the wall instead? I won't be able to use it for rows and probably other exercises usimg the bench?? Do you think I will be limiting the functionality of rhino by a lot if I place feet against the wall?? I already have a selectorized functional trainer and selectorized titan lat pull down machine. Anyways let me know if I will be missing out on exercises by placing it this way?
@@futbol1972 That's what I would suggest if you're using it primarily for belt squats.
Do all Rogue Monster attachments fit a REP5000 setup?
For the most part. Any attachments that connect at two points on the same upright may not align properly-- such as the Rogue Monolifts 1.0. They fit my rep uprights and are usable, but the holes don't align at the bottom to properly secure them.
It is a amazing set up. compact and super functional...But be careful with your head bro..😂.been there....
Hopefully I can fix that problem before I have a knot on my head in my next video 😂
Not trying to make your rack a Frankenstein machine but I believe bells of steel went with the same dimensions as Rogue specifically so all their attachments could go on Rogue racks. They probably saw that Rep is the budget Sorinex so they decided to be the budget Rogue lol. I just stating that because of the 43” crossmember you mentioned at the end to make it 49” total. Your gym is amazing.
Thanks very much! I didn't know that about BoS and Rogue. Thanks for the info. And yes, your right! I misspoke about the crossmember length. 43" for a total of of 49".

Hey I finally decided to keep my rhino and drop it in into a rack. Lol

Do u have enough space to incline on the 30" rack or do you wish u would of gotten the 47" instead?? I have room for the 47" but if i can get away with the 30" i rather to get 30" instead😊. I wont use rhino for lat pull downs so iam assuming i can just attach a multigrip pull up bar to use with rhino pulley in replacement of the 43" crossmember u have in the front?? So i w
So this is what i need correct Two rogue XM-30" bottom crossmembers.
Two rogue XM-43 Monster 2.0 43" Top Crossmember
One
Monster Multi Grip Crossmember. And four 93" rep uprights correct.
Will i need to but bolts too or crossmembers and uprights come with them?
XM-43M MONSTER MULTI GRIP CROSSMEMBER
Do i need to buy bolts through rogue or rep or do crossmembers come with bolts in price?
@@futbol1972 Is there a reason you want REP uprights and not Bells of steel? Bells of steel perfectly align with Rogue products. I don’t know that the hole spacing will be exact with the REP uprights. Also Bells of steel is doing 10% through 20% off depending on how much you spend. But I think it would need to be $1000 to get the 10% off but that includes free shipping.
@@futbol1972 The only reason I went with Rep uprights was because I have low ceilings and Rogue doesn't sell 80" uprights. 30" crossmembers should leave enough room for incline bench.

With the 6 post rack I will have 2 stations in case iam working out with wife which she does different workouts than I do and i also will have plate storage but I think the 6 post are long🙄 anyways any advice will be good😊
6 post would be cool. I do a 4 post 30" because my space is on the small side. (250 sq ft.) It leaves enough room to still do belt squats and use the front uprights at the same time. If you feel 3x3 5/8 works better for you I don't see why not, other than it might be an issue when you go to mount the Rhino because it is 1" holes and bolts though. RML-3 is Monster lite so yes, it's 3x3, 5/8.
@@TheCarterHomeGymactually my garage gym is 210 sq ft a little smaller than yours 21x10. I guess I can start with 4 post 30" rack and go from there. Actually mounting to a RML it's pretty easy it has the holes for 5/8 too. Don't know if the 1" has advantage over the 5/8
