Very nice and great tutorial. What is the tool you are using to mitre your corners. I would like to know what it is called and where can it be purchased. Thank you! Hugs and blessings Jill
Hi Jill, glad you liked it. The tool is called "corner miter tool" and you will find it in my online shop: www.etsy.com/listing/254521284/bookbinding-miter-tool-corner-miter-tool?ref=shop_home_feat_4
Besides the corner miter tool (link above), do you have links to any of the other products you used? What is that roller fabric cutter tool called? I enrolled in your free online course and found the list but am still confused as to how to get all the tools you used. Thank you.
Hi, the fabric cutter is called "rotary cutter", you will find in craft stores like JoAnn or Amazon. Also there is the "cutting board" where we cut the fabric on. I think are those that you are confused, let me know if there is something else you need to know.
@@ColorWayArts Thank you so much. What is the little yellow plastic-looking tool you use to fold the fabric over the edge of the card when glueing? What kind of card stock do you use? I appreciate your video so much. I was planning on making cloth-covered Christmas cards but did not know how to do it until I saw your video. Thanks again!
@@c.catlover4080 , it's the plastic spatula that is included in my "cartonnage tools" that is available in my online shop. You can also use any other plastic spatula, even one old credit card can help here, but I like the yellow one because is kind of flexible and it's great for what we need. The cardstock is the normal one you can find in craft stores.... not too thick though, so, choose the standard ones... they never came with the thickness...but I know it's less than 100lb, that one will be too tchick!
Hi Lisa, glad you are here! I hope you like my work! I have much more videos in my online free course: learncartonnage.colorwayarts.com/p/joycartonnagefree. Thanks!!
Real neat. I wish you would list your supplies below your videos. Otherwise people have to stop the video constantly to write down the supplies you are using.
Hi, well, it depends how fast you go. It take less than 10 minutes to make one, but when making a lot, I do recommend making a lot of the outside pieces first, put them under the heavy books and after that finishing with the inside piece. It goes faster this way!
Hi Robin, I don't know this glue, have never used, sorry. I only use Glue All for all my fabric/paper projects! If it is a spray, not sure, but for me seems that would not be completely glued in all surface.... need to test, but for sure will be more expensive and may be will take more time than the regular white PVA glue.
love this! thk u for sharing!
Thank you for this video.

Can you use tacky spray glue?

Omg! Thats way to much wait time for 1 card. Seriously? The card is beautiful though.
