How old is this video--oh I see 13 days ago, cool. FIRST! I NEEDED to know about Sweetens. I played #4 in the 80's. I played #5 about six years ago (on a blip of golf activity in my life). I cannot wait to play #'s 9 and 10. They are only an hour from me. I'll be playing 5 again no doubt, it's less than an hour away. I was well aware of #1 but haven't been there yet. Just getting my game back on after a few decades mostly off. Thanks for the video. Oh wait I was actually on the winning team at a big scramble at your #2 once, assuming that's "Hermitage", not "Ghermitage" (in your list and in the video). That was 1994 as I reminded myself with the trophy just yesterday. 17 under was our score-that part I never forgot!
Forget RiverWatch …it’s been bought out and is now semi-private. a beautiful course and well maintained . A local millionaire, Gary Smith, bought it mainly for his small group of golf buds to play. Such a shame.
I forget the name of the course, but there are a couple very nice courses in Dandridge just east of Knoxville. I played one years ago and was very impressed. Also, Gaylord Springs is more like $100 green fee, not $45. Might be $45 in the winter...
I had a friend tell me Fall Creek Falls looks like the bunker bird flew over and took a dump everywhere. 😂😂😂. It’s a fun and nice course to play and yes it has a bunch of bunkers.
it is definitely still only 9 holes. and the greens fees are wildly different than this video showed. you buy an all day pass (they only sell like 45 a day) and you play as much as you possibly can for about $160-$200
played river watch and stonehenge. great courses. gaylord did not impress me much. bunch of mounds define this one. pais 90 10 years ago and i was staying at the hotel!!!! bear trace is a good one. also rarity bay in lenior city
I have to tell you that Egwani farms is not one of the best courses in Tennessee. I live in knoxville. Egwani farms is a decent course, but most of the holes you want need a driver. It is a cookie cutter course. I could name 20 better courses in the knoxville area.
Agreed one of the better courses in Knoxville for sure I would say willow creek by far trumps any pure public courses. If you want to stray into Loudon they have a ton of semi private courses that are fantastic. Avalon is semi private idk if that makes the list or if you are just trying to name pure public.

Chickasaw state park course is BEAUTIFUL. It is criminal that you did not put it on this list!
Game of misses
I live next to river watch and it's amazing

I like the sound of that. Thanks Harold
Island Point in Kodak is a great track definitely worth checking out
Can't believe that Fall Creek Falls State Park isn't on this list. At one time it was listed as one of the top 100 courses in the country.
Just looked it up. Looks like a nice course. Tough miss on our end
agree. great old one

Ow about courses in chattanooga area..
How many of these are within a 30 min drive of Nashville?
Yes all Are within 3 hours
Only Hermitage, Gaylord, and Greystone is probably about 45 minutes depending on where in Nashville you're coming from.
Just for the viewers information riverwatch golf course has just been sold and fixing to be turned into a private course
Thank you!!!
I play Gaylord a lot and it’s $95-135. Please let me know where you’re getting the green fees haha
We have fired the Tennessee intern supporting this story line. Thank you
Sweetens Cove is 18 holes now I’m pretty sure

Sewanee is horrible. Fall creek falls should of made list
Thanks for the notes, we will make an update video
Dude commentating sounds very hesitant. At least sound like you’ve been there instead of reading the info straight from the internet.
Did you see the update video?
No Holston Hills? No Tennessee National? List is nowhere near accurate.
Also, Egwani is trash. Hole 2 has been under repair for the past 3 years. Hole 11 is a complete mess.
And no Legends? That is the consensus top course in the state. You should delete this video.
Why
I suggest you play these courses or
Give up
@@parfessor I have played them. Nice try though
