You have this backwards unless you’re rating from best (5) to worst. Deer Creek is private and by far the best of the five. Savannah Harbor is a great course and is always in great shape. Southbridge is an excellent course and far better than Bacon Park, Henderson, or Crosswinds. Crosswinds should be next with Henderson following and Bacon Park last. I loved there for 30 years and played all of these courses. Southbridge was purchased by the neighborhood and has had a lot of improvement from three or four years ago. Definitely a course to play.

There are 5 courses at Bethpage Park. The Green, Black, Red, Blue. and Yellow. Everyone knows of the Black but they are all beautiful. The Green is the best for higher handicap players

Played everyone one of them courses. No way ballamor is over shore gate. Shore gate is private track nice. I played a lot of private tracks. Due process , metedeconk, baltrasol , Plainfeild country club. Cherry valley , shore oaks , deal country club. ( these are all nj courses ) I put shore gate up there with top level private tracks and it is extremely difficult. I think the slope is 145. Pine hill which used to be public as well as pine barrens. They are both private now. But those 3 courses are hard to beat. But for a public course. Shore gate is by far ahead of ballamor. IMO

Sleep Hollow is an executive course in Carbondale, your verbal over the video describes another track I think Bellwood. Other public in Scranton is Pine Hill in Taylor PA designed in 1963 Hank Evanish. Scott Greens is also an executive track in Scott Twp. Panorama is in Forest City also public. Stone Henge was designed by Jim Blaukovitz who also did Southmoore, Olde Homestead, Honeybrook and a few others in PA. Shadow Brook (just up the road from Stone Hedge., Wemberly Hills, Olyphant. Best private in around Scranton (in order) CC of Scranton original 18, Fox Hill, Glenmaura, Glen Oak, Elmhurst, Emanon (Falls Twp.)Gone is Scranton Muni in 2020 in Lake Ariel built in 1960. Learned to play golf at Pine Hill in the 60s. Grew up in the area hope this helps.

Wolf Creek is one of the best and most interesting golf courses in the country. I have played all of these courses in Mesquite. A trip well worth it. You will not be disappointed.

For those who complained... suck it up and hit iron or hybrid from the tee. Every tee shot doesn't have to be a driver. I just love these challenging holes, it makes you think, plan, and approach differently. I personally hate those wide straight golf courses. It's boring and even more disappointing if you don't score well.

*UPDATE:* Some A-Holes stole the plaques to sell them for scrap. Luckily, scrap yards check with police when someone shows up with something like this. If you show up with a lot of copper wire, they will check with police to see if anyone reported stolen copper wire anywhere. The scrap yard returned the plaques, but they were damaged beyond repair. I got no update on if the plaques will be replaced, but I'd assume they will be.

Twins Ponds is interesting and worth a try. It’s short, but the greens are very good, small and domed, so challenging.

I have played all these courses and 2, Old Mill and Bonneville, might make the top five. Old Mill has 15 very good holes and then I think the designer thought oh no we have to put 3 more holes in and crammed them on the land. My top 5 (opinion) only. 5. Riverbend 4. Stonebridge 3. River Oaks 2. Glenmoor 1. Mountain Dell (Lake Course).
