Good review. I just got this bike about a month ago and it's great. The post is very solid - there's no play at all so even when I try to jiggle it, it doesn't move. The sharp bit on the seat post is capped with a little bit of plastic, so that shouldn't be an issue anymore. And most importantly, the start button is green now.
Ive got a Power cage, monolift attachments, and the GHR/reverse hyper unit from BOS, and just ordered this bike this morning. i can say from experience, their build quality hasnt let me down yet, if anything, their stuff feels over engineered and I like that about their stuff. Its bomb proof!
Hey man thanks for doing such an in depth review, there aren't many out there to try to learn about this bike. How has it held up in the 8 months since you posted this?
Sorry, late to comment as I just got mine last week. They must’ve fixed that display post problem because mine is very solid. This is a very good bike for the money IMHO.
mine just arrived. The fan shroud is waaay out of alignment and is causing the blades to hit the shroud. Otherwise it seems like a good product, hopefully they can resolve this issue for me
Thanks for this review. I bought this recently and also noticed it’s easier than the other bikes. So if a WOD says 18 cal, would this bike be more to be similar to the Assault bike?
Is the fan plastic or metal? I couldn’t tell. I’m about to buy a bike. Have you tried the fringe raptor? Trying to decide between this and the fringe raptor. I can order either one right now. Just need some help as I’ve tried neither. I could order a rogue echo bike and I’m local to rogue so I could potentially even get a refurbished echo bike and save some $$. New ones say 14+ days before they ship.
Metal - the two bikes are pretty much identical. My pick would be Echo just because it’s the CrossFit standard, but if you wanted something to get by with then the Blitz is fine.
@@AMRAP dang! Thanks for the quick reply! Do you know of anyone who has had experience with the refurbished echo bikes? I can order a new one I’m just impatient and don’t want to wait for it to ship lol

Is the "BLITZ" written on the side a sticker? I hate it so much... would love to know if I can remove it before I order it. Thanks.
What a thorough, unbiased and honest review. The sharp end of the seat rail is a real big safety hazard. Thank-you.
Iron Monkey is one of my most favorite movies of all time.

Great Video. I have a question about the noise level, is the Echo bike louder or quieter? Thanks
Great video! I like this bike. Would you consider reviewing the Xterra AIR650 Air bike pro and the Teeter power 10?
I just got the echo bike. I was really surprised how easy it was to get going. I was expecting it to be really difficult
getstrongby40 they’ve changed it from the early ones, belt has less tension
@@AMRAP ahh that makes sense. I was actually dreading it based on the reviews. Appreciate the response
One of the best reviews I have seen and thanks. Would you suggest this for Low/Medium intensity workout or only High intensity fit?
you can do both

I would scale that to maybe 25% more
@@AMRAP thanks

@@daltonramsey9585 good move! I’ve heard they’re just event used ones, should be like new!
@@AMRAP that’s good to hear! Thanks again for taking the time to reply ✌️
Which air bike will get you in best shape and is the hardest currently as I see you say rogue loosened the belt
Is the resistance harder than the echo bike? I heard echo is pretty tough on the resistance. Thanks.
Nah, this is way easier. Compared to Assault and Echo, this is easiest.
"Kinda rocks back and forth". Post: doesn't move lol
What do you think this bike over the xebex air bike? The regular base model
Did you happen to get a manual with the bike
How do you hook up a heart rate monitor to this bike?
Would that still be your recommendation for an home gym? How does it compare to the Titan air bike?
Yeah or an echo, Titan bike is poop
@@AMRAP and vs Assault Air bike classic?
Have you ever used a schwinn ad6 bike ? I'm wondering is the resistance a little harder I also had a schwinn ad2 which sucked as far as resistance
I have an AD pro, the resistance is a lot harder but the calories come super quick.
@@AMRAP the ad pro is a lot harder or the bells of steel?
Any ETA for the Romaleos 4 review?
In terms of packaging, will this fit in my compact civic? I'm going to pick it up from Toronto.
Not likely in the box, but probably when it's not assembled.
If you didn’t want to pedal, do the pedals stay put when moving the handles? Thanks!
No, they move with the handles.
how would it be for a taller person, I'm 6'3
I have the same question, are there any taller people who have any experience with this bike? Thanks.
Could someone pls let me know Seat comfort on this Vs rogue echo bike? Is this Seat wide enough?
It’s not as wide as the echo seat
But I think it’s still comfortable, more than the assault for sure
Chain Drive? I thought this was a belt drive bike
