Being a single father dealing with their mother takes it from me, I’ve fought for the 50/50 I have and it’s been a terrible week. It’s like you guys knew it lol, this song just reminds me of my daughters, the fight a father has to give and the love my daughters deserve. Thank you guys

I did the same thing for my daughters and we should be recognized for it, if we did not fight for the right to be with our children can you just think how are kids would be raised by a vindictive,2 faced, manipulator, and many other words to describe these persons. Well just imagine what they would let loose on the world so I thank you brother for fighting to instill moral support and a stable atmosphere for children who are the innocent victims of a divorce but someone has to show civility & calm.

What a song! It made me cry and really caught me off guard. The soulful, maybe Soul-inspired verse and the beautiful chorus..and the lyrics which are straightforward, not shrouded. Just beautiful.

A nice mix of his natural southern tenor sounding voice and vocal fry. I was so blown away when I heard him just speaking to an audience. I know of only one song where he uses his natural voice. I think I've heard them all. This voice he produces is just so unique!

It’s crazy how much time has passed but how you’ve become the only band I can listen to in literally any mood. Last month I walked to my car close to a panic attack and I put your music on. I could go on but I won’t, I just want to say thank you so much for continuing to create music that inspires me and holds me together in tough moments❤️
This one ended up making me think of people I have lost for some reason, made me weep and I feel a release, although I didn't hear the words, just felt the music. I wonder if that was what it was about for the artists. Another masterpiece.

Also, I just noticed that the synth instrumentation is very reduced, not afraid of silence and pauses. Not trying to impress by technique and still being able to evoke that many emotions, that is really a sign of maturing artists. This album grew on me a lot!

I've followed this group since I've graduated from HS 10 years ago.. (recently saw them live last year) I knew when I first heard Sam's voice for the first time I knew this guy's vocals speaks volume when it comes to life, truth, power within and being the best you can be..
