Having lived in Manchester 23 years and being entirely reliant on public transport, this reminds me so much of my home village in Rural Ireland where I have extended family, as soon as I get out of Dublin, the traffic is that heavy both in Dublin and on the approaches to my home village - I sometimes wonder how our Bus Éireann coach from Dublin manages to even find any space to stop, due to the inconsiderate parking and the lack of powers that the Gardai (police) have to make cars move out of the coach stand in our village, even at rush hours, as people won’t pay the toll on the new motorway to the next town and the area has become very built up in recent years
