Lots to go over in this one, so make sure to watch until the end to get our full analysis - as well as about 10 foul balls in a row from Will 😂 One last thing we didn't mention: when switching over to an Axe handle for the first time, you'll likely notice yourself rolling over or aggressively pulling balls for the first 10 swings or so. This is due to the slightly accelerated barrel turn, and you'll get used to it pretty quickly - just focus on middle/oppo gap for the first few swings. Also keep in mind that this type of handle isn’t for everyone. Both Cam and Trace have tried it and just didn’t really enjoy it - it’s also tough to find a wood bat with an Axe handle for less than like $200 - we also really like the no-knob design and we’ll be trying out the Pro-XR handle soon.
This would be a good bad for me because I trying to win it for my brother cuz he really likes his Bat and it's the right size for him and he just loves wood bats in general

@@Triqkshot Yeah he does a weird waggle with the bat towards the mound mid swing, loses a lot of power trying to get it back and through the ball from that I think.
I got my first axe handle a few months ago and I was able to feel the difference in the first couple of swings. Don't know if its because I throw right and bat left but my right hand felt much better after a full practice.
Yeah every year I see more players with them. Regardless of any performance, they are INSANELY comfortable too. Like, it almost feels painful holding a regular bat after using one of those lol. And for contact hitting that comfort alone can be a factor
On all 3 teams I’ve ever played on with an Axe bat, every single player has hated it. My dad even thinks it’s bad. I think they’re all mental. I’ve had two Axe bats, one 31/23, one 33/30, and both have been absolutely fantastic.
Amazing swing. I just dont like the stiff follow through but the follow through is the least important part of a swing, but if you had the same swing with a flexible follow through that would be the best swing ever 🤩🤩🤩
Zak’s swing reminds me of Pujols in a way..so little moving parts in their swings and they look so calm at the plate, but the ball just jumps off their bats!
Yea, my buddy had that same bat and let me use it when we were out hitting balls one day and I loved it. Was smashing the ball, went out and bought one immediately. Mookie betts one was sold out. Bought the George springer one 33.5.

Have been swinging Axe bat 243 for years now. First time I swung it I noticed the difference. Really do recommend any hitter to try the axe handle bat and feel the difference

He broke his wood bat this summer and would love a new one for juco ball that he’s going to play next year. I have the flared maple axe, idk if i gotta bad piece of wood but its soft, every hit leaves indents, it has stitches indented all the way up n down the barrel, looks warped, first couple hits had pop , felt great, now mostly weak fly balls comin off it, they do have great customer service.. they’re gonna replace it!
Sweet 🤙🏾 Side note.. does the axe bat still do the “directional hitting face?” Because the barrel gets hit on the same side and they used to make the barrel different for that reason..
Hey I really want to win the Victus 110 because I’m new to the game and want to just get a bat that is fun to swing but also has that power and weight. I have a Marucci Cat 8 32 -3 that I use but I want something new and to have a new feel behind my swings. I haven't followed baseball since the last world series I watched in 1999. When I think back I can remember it so clearly watching the Yankees sweep the Braves. But anyways my point is I don't know too much about the sport only the basics really. What difference does the knob make when batting?
I have a great Idea for your next video if you haven't done this before. Curious if you can get your hands on a real MLB Baseball Game bat and compare that to the same over the counter bat. I remember when Jeff Jeff Francoeur was with the Rome Braves his dad told me a MLB guy gave him one of his MLB Bats and they would not let him use it in the minor leagues. Just curious how much hotter those real MLB wood bats are compared to a standard pro model bat?
The Baseball Bat Bros curious to get your opinion on which axe handle wood bat would swingweight closest to axe elite hybrid bbcor 33/30? Love the videos.
there is a reason why heavy axes that have to be perfectly indexed for each strike have handles shaped like that. i couldn't split crap with an axe with a round handle.
Cool, I thought the axe handle was simply just to assure you were hitting the ball on the strongest side of the bat, didn't know it helped with wrist rotation too
#Batbros 100K, @cwolfe843, My son is starting high school baseball and Ive watched your video for feed back on the best bats for the best bang of my buck. Thanks again #Batbros. This is an awesome site for the type of information.

#batbros100k. Final day of the giveaway and I going out with a bang and trying to win cool bats like this. I have never owned a wood bat and I think I could get a lot of use out of this Victus v110. This bat is a good solid pure maple bat that would have pretty good durability. Even if this bat would be to heavy to swing in a game I would get a lot of use out of it. I would swing it non-stop in training and that would make swinging other heavier bats much easier. I do not know much about wood bats and all the knowledge I do have is based on these incredible videos. Will, bro.....stop dropping your hands during your load! Keep your hands high and then throw them through the zone and let the barrel whip around. That's where you get bat speed, not swinging the bat, but throwing your hands!
Hey man, I know you probably won't see this, but I couldn't help but notice your lack of load. You have a high leg kick, which can aid in generating power, but the problem is your hips remain parallel to the pitcher. As your knee comes up you need to be twisting your hips in order to create load. Focus on showing your buttcheek to the pitcher.
I think a nice solid wood bat with an extra half inch on it would definitely help me get used to wood bats. #batbros100k.
