The product may be effective, but living in a world of capitalism where we are paying for the brand and the design, but not really for the product's real value is at least in my opinion incorect. There are so many other brands (also from famous skincare gurus) that are efficient and affordable. I am not judging, as everyone can decide what price to put on their products. Ultimately, it's in the customers' hands to decide what make sense and what is pure capitalism. Indeed many customers have become more conscious thanks to product reviews of other influencers.

Please be careful with vitamin c it can cause you a worst reaction. Go to the dermatologist first before you go an try this. For me the acne and reactive skin la roshe possay toleraine made the miracle. Check the ingredients their blue serum is very calm and easy to use and cleans the skin without any bad reactions like what the vitamin c can cause in the skin.

Congratulations Desi. Great idea on using Ethyl Ascorbic Acid and THD as the main two vitamin C options. These two vitamin C derivates are less irritating than the L-Ascorbic Acid, which would make it ideal to use for sensitive skin types also. Only one thing to add, as a Cosmetic Formulator and a Chemical Engineer, I wish instead of Shea Butter, a lighter option fatty ingredient such as squalane would have been selected, then it would have been suitable for acne and congested skin also. Making it the bomb ass product :) Congratulations again my darling xx

Just an FYI for anyone who has never tried Vitamin C skin care products and/or have sensitive skin, some professionals advise to start on a low percentage of Vitamin C serums. If used at a wrong percentage that your skin might not be used to YET, it could cause a reaction or irritation. Build up to the percentage if this product is something you’d like to try in the future No hate to Desi and very happy for her release on her skin care line! Was waiting for her to come out with one! But Desi's product uses Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate as the main ingredient which is fat-soluable so it might work idk.

People with acne prone skin (me as well) should stay away from influencers skincares lines....just go to the basics, dermatologist tested/recommended. Less is more with skin conditions. Vitamin C is not even an essential step on a skincare routine.

There are so many other brands (also from famous skincare gurus) that are efficient and affordable. I am not judging, as everyone can decide what price to put on their products. For me the acne and reactive skin la roshe possay toleraine made the miracle. Check the ingredients their blue serum is very calm and easy to use and cleans the skin without any bad reactions like what the vitamin c can cause in the skin.

According to the board certified dermatologist Dr.Dray's youtube videos, the only vitamin C that has a stable formula is patented by the brand skinceuticals because they’re the inventors of vitamin C serum. Since they have a patent on it, they have the only serum clinically proven to work on a scientific/ medical level. There is sooo many factors to a vitamin C serum to actually work!

Congratulations Desi. Great idea on using Ethyl Ascorbic Acid and THD as the main two vitamin C options. These two vitamin C derivates are less irritating than the L-Ascorbic Acid, which would make it ideal to use for sensitive skin types also. Only one thing to add, as a Cosmetic Formulator and a Chemical Engineer, I wish instead of Shea Butter, a lighter option fatty ingredient such as squalane would have been selected, then it would have been suitable for acne and congested skin also. Making it the bomb ass product :) Congratulations again my darling xx

Just an FYI for anyone who has never tried Vitamin C skin care products and/or have sensitive skin, some professionals advise to start on a low percentage of Vitamin C serums. If used at a wrong percentage that your skin might not be used to YET, it could cause a reaction or irritation. Build up to the percentage if this product is something you’d like to try in the future

@@fashionholicable Just because skinceuticals is proven to clinically work doesn't mean other serums don't. It depends on the formulation, desi's product has ascorbic acid which is one of the most researched vitamin c ingredients so its safe to say it works. To what degree? we don't know
@@carolinaelichalt7913 Your aren't fully wrong but fyi ascorbic acid is water soluable and has a hard time penetrating through the skin's waxy layer. This is usually what is unstable. But Desi's product uses Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate as the main ingredient which is fat-soluable so it might work idk.

People with acne prone skin (me as well) should stay away from influencers skincares lines....just go to the basics, dermatologist tested/recommended. Less is more with skin conditions. Vitamin C is not even an essential step on a skincare routine.
