Hello! I'm going to Japan later this year, do you know of any maps or guides to diecast shops in Tokyo? I cant find any maps or websites listing diecast stores, only reviews like this. Not saying that this is not a helpful review, this is great, but I just want to know if there is a list or reviews of LOTS of shops as opposed to just one like this. Thanks!❤
maybe because diecast is not as famous as Gundam in Tokyo. but, actually you can type in google map “tokyo diecast shop” there will be many lists of shop names that appear I hope your trip will be great :D
For Hot Wheels, I believe one of the best stores to visit is 'Warehouse' you can find in Google Maps: maps.app.goo.gl/GwRUXWNW533459CC8 for another 1/64 in Akihabara, you can try Surugaya Akihabara, Tam Tam Hobby shop, and Yodobashi in Nakano broadway, go to the second floor and come to Mandarake diecast Usually, they have some Hot Wheels RLC series on their display
the cheapest one is used tomica You can get it at Surugaya Akihabara and in Nakano broadway area. Other than that there doesn't seem to be any Because the majority of diecast in Japan is expensive
aah, actually I recorded it myself with a mic. But unfortunately, my mic isn't good, so I had to filter it so it sounded more appropriate. thanks for the compliments :D
HI there, thank you so much for showing this video planning to go to japan in a few months. Are you able to put in the comment the address for this ken box store, cause when im checking google maps its a different store front thank you much appreciated.
maps.app.goo.gl/kJn9oe7p2m9Hp5dZ6 3-chōme-34-9 Shinjuku, Shinjuku City, Tokyo 160-0022 Actually, the location is close to the store on Google Maps it's just that when I checked on the website after going there they said they opened "a limited-time shop near their Shinjuku store from 1 February, 2024, to 31 August, 2024" so it seems, they will return to the store according to Google map after 31 August
I visited this store in April this year and loved the huge range they had!!
It's hard to find such a good store in Tokyo! 😁
I travelled to Tokyo in 2016 visited Hakuhinkan toy store in Ginza. I did not know this store . Thanks for your info.
you're welcome! 👍
