Scott, It was a old yo-zuri . I had a bunch of old lures that I wanted to repaint and I love this kokanee pattern.
Paint shows up real good if you use transparent paint on aluminum tape
That's the first ad iv watched all the way threw the rod carrier ad
hi nice job, one question what do you use in order to avoid the foil to become opaque? cause when I spray it with the transparent coating paint it tends to become opaque
nice! been looking for something like this to do some of my older lures. thanks
Great looking bait!
You dont need a airbrush but they come in handy. if you look back in my videos you can find a vid on picking the right airbrush. I like airbrush paints wicked paints . I paint my lures with everything from rattle cans to water color pencils. The basic air brush colors I most often use are white, black, green, red, blue silver and gold. start with them and you cant go wrong
Good job saludos amigo desde Sinaloa mexico
Hey Epic Trout. I found your channel about a month ago and I've been extremely impressed with the work you put out, I find it absolutely AWESOME! Anyway I was wondering what would be some of the stuff I would need to start painting lures and what would a estimate on a initial investment be on required tools and supplies? Thanks, MWFS.
Looks so simple but yet very nice , great flashing action !
How long does your spray glue take to cure ?
Did only one foiled lure with spray glue before and it was an awful mess , applied the glue to the lure , but not to the foil like you did , ...looks a lot easier this way .
Thanks for sharing , ....tight lines 61diemai
The 3m glue sticks pretty fast so I only do one lure at a time and throw away the paper towel after each use. I just spray a thin coat of glue on the foil. A little goes a long way.

Thanks for info , ....gotta try this again now .
Am I suppose to glue it on does it overlap or what how?
Hello Epic Trout..I am writing you from South America... Tonight, I was watching your videos and they are great. I began to do my own spoons flies for a while (I have some videos in my channel), and recently I began to do my own lures starting from balsa wood and based on a previous minnow template that I prepared...
Epic Trout, I have a question for you, did you use epoxy for your finishing? or it was another product??? Thanks in advance...
Greetings from Colombia, great job, I'm a novice at this to make lures, I finished a few designs, but when I install the lure bib does not respond. that you can recommend me. Thank you.
Looks great! Was that a lure that you had and repainted, or was it a blank that you made or bought? It is a good looking blank and I would not mind getting a few to paint up for myself.
Tight Lines.
Scott
can you please link me to the gun and paints to use thanks
Do you sell those?
hi

I'm 5'5" and almost 150lbs I feel fat
How does that have anything to do with a lure-making video? Do you always make these types of comments on all unrelated videos to seek attention? We don't care if you feel fat... that's your issue to deal with.
