The question is, can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Shining Pearl version using only Dragon types? Well, it's a short question, but with a long answer, get some popcorn and a beverage and hope you enjoy.
Rules of the challenge:
Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch the Type Pokémon on each Route (Species Clause)
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode

How were you able to see all the Sinnoh pokemon before gym 2?
I want to know the same thing. How are you using those other dragons so early?

You will never outspeed her garchomp with yours only because you are one level higher unless you have perfects ivs and a speedy nature because her garchomp has perfect ivs, 252 Evs in speed and a jolly nature
Edit: apparently she "only" has 204 Evs in speed my mistake
But it's still highly unlikely that you will outspeed her garchomp with a randomly caught garchomp even if it has 252 Evs in Speed
I thought it's 204 speed IV. The 252 is atk
According to the google doc from the data miners, the spread for this battle and the first rematch are 52 HP, 252 Attack and 204 Speed. The 2nd rematch is 6 HP, 252 Attack and 252 Speed. It’s still a very speedy Garchomp if you don’t have a speed boosting nature, more speed EVs and a good enough IVs to pass it.

When I fought Cynthia, it came down to Garchomp vs Garchomp. I just needed 1 affection save because we could both 2 shot each other, but neither could 1 shot

I’m doing a shining Pearl steel type only mono type nuzlocke. I chose piplup for obvious reasons and my end game team was Empoleon, Magnezone, Jirachi (they give it to me I’m using it), Lucario, Bastiodon and Steelix

Hey I love your nuzlockes I watched a bunch of them and was wondering if you could do a grass locke... I'm sure you get more grass types also with national Dex bc without it I think there is 7 or 8 grass types in game

Yuzu emulator. Like gba and DS the switch is now playable on pc. There are mods for randomizers, any hack really. Any potato pc can run it

Nah I just did this run on an emulator and used PKHex to change my Turtwig starter to a Gible. Nothing too crazy.

22:40 you cannot get that tm before the fight. Byrons badge allows you to use strength which you need to get to the earthquake tm. Those boulders are only not there in platinum.

I don't understand how you IV train and Wich stat you IV train. I'm totally lost.
Simply put, each pokèmon has an EV value that they give out when you defeat it. E.g. 1 Speed EV, or 2 Sp. atk EVs. For each 4 EV of a stat, the total stat of the Pokèmon defeating the mon increases by 1. You can only do 510 total EVs for this, so balancing how many EVs per stat is vital to strategise with.

It’s not on the Switch, so customisation is an option

Before even watching I can tell this challenge isn't going to be as hard as other gen 8 games because the only fairy type in BDSP is Marril's line. I hope the Sigma Platinum mod which I just started playing adds a few more but I can't find a Pokedex list for it anywhere.

Trade over a Gible egg, hatch in the proper game so you have the same trainer ID/ it will obey you if high leveled, level up to team :)

Was the naming scheme Roguelikes this time? I noticed "Lanius" from FTL and "Dragun" from Enter the Gungeon. I wish I know what Rougelikes the others referenced.
Nope, just more Yugioh. Lanius is used in plenty of Raidraptor cards and Dragun is from King Dragun, a fusion monster.

Can you make your audio louder or make the wrestling audio quieter, it’s kind of annoying having the super loud clips every now and then and then it going back down when you’re talking. I love the content though so please do keep it up

That is incorrect actually! Go check out Austin John Plays's channel, he's got a tutorial on how to get the National Dex before the second gym badge, and while it does require another game with a full dex to trade over, it is possible.

Can someone explain to me how he got 252 Attack and Speed EV’s before the first gym?
So this game has scaling EXP, similar to Gen 5/7 games, and because Gible is in the slow EXP group, it takes much more EXP to level up in comparison to other Pokemon. So essentially by fighting Level 2 Starly and Level 3 Shinx, while only fighting the required battles on Route 202 and the Rival battle on Route 203, I'm able to get all of the EVs tucked under Level 14! Hope that answers your question.
